Best Western Marks Tey Hotel - เอสเซกซ์ (เคาน์ตี)

We had a very pleasant stay,we would use the hotel again,Although we were disappointed that the spa wasn`t working but the poool was nice.The restaruant was very pleasant and had good service.

Booked Marks Tey BW on impulse for a day-away trip. SUCH a nice place. Pleasant staff, lovely spacious room with good decor and room for table, two armchairs, etc. Didn't try the meals as we wanted to get off into Colchester, but the pooland sauna were great. We'll be back.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, and great food. Nice size room, lovely and warm and comfortable, good value too

Nice pleasant staff in a hotel which although looks a little dated in places does not detract from the simple fact that it is comfy, well presented and well equipped. I particularly enjoyed the pistachio encrusted lamb in the restaurant. About £10 in a taxi (from a local taxi firm) to/from central Colchester.

excellent hotel for a short break in this area. nice friendly staff especially Arron the restaurant manager who looked after us very well. nice leisure facilities to relax in after a busy day. lots of resaurants nearby for a change and a retail park with a large sainsburys too.

Saturday night stay, good size room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, super pressure on the shower, hearty full English breakfast, helpful and pleasant staff. Would definately use this again.

Excellent place to stay shame the breakfast coffee is poor and it would be nice to have fresh orange juice!

Good for an overnight stop, staff very nice. The food is not bad, breakfast is a bit expensive if not included in the room price. The swimming pool was not clean, good facilities but shame about the cleanliness in general of the leisure facilities. Otherwise good.

Clean, big rooms. Arived late, and room service was still open. The breakfast could have been better, and the location is far away from anything, besides the motorway. But the hotel in itself was nice.

I would like to start this review with an appreciation of the staff. They were all welcoming, helpful and cheerful. However the hotel was not up to the standard I expected. The cleanliness left something to be desired - with hairs in the beds, chewing gum on the dressing table and a general feeling that it wasnt quite as clean as it should be. nice room, but breakfast buffett was not well presented or stocked. The wait to be seated was excessive as they did not have enough tables. proably a good airport hotel but not a great getaway hotel

My husband and I booked this hotel prior to departing from Harwich on a Baltic cruise as we wanted a relaxing night. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa facilities, and swimming pool. A relaxing start to our holiday.

The hotel is showing its age and needs investment, for example no air conditioning in a hot July? Trouser press not working due to faulty switch, bathroom sink taps missing, tiny flat screen TV. Overall very 1980's but has potential.

A nice on the eye hotel, rooms a tad out dated but nothing serious. Comfortable bed with a nice sized bathroom. Dinner and bar area well laid out. leisure facilities good. Only downer was the price of the 24 hour menu, however this is common in most hotels. Close to a retail park and only a small drive away from all other attractions.

The hotel seemed lovely on arrival. Great room, in very pleasent grounds, although the shower was in need of modernisation. Reception very friendly. I used the gym which was good, with a nice pool. Unfortunatly the service was disapointing. I called for room service twice with no answer. I also requested breakfast in my room by hanging an order card […] on my door the previous evening as requested. Prima locatie vanaf de dagboot Hoek van Holland - Harwich op weg naar het Westen. Niets mis met de kamers, maar ook niet veel meer dan een stop op de weg naar leukere locaties.

Godt tilfreds. God betjening og alle forventninger mere end indfriet. Vi var især glædeligt overrasket over værelset størrlse, indretning og at det "osede" af England.

Dette hotel havde det hele. Værelset var utroligt flot og stort. Alle ydelser man kunne ønske sig var tilstede. Man skal bare være klar over at hotellet ligger udenfor byen (6-8 km).

Bon hôtel de catégorie moyenne datant des années 80 mais en bon état d'entretien général. La déco des chambres date d'au moins des années 80, les nostalgiques vont apprécier. Bon rapport qualité/prix - parking gratuit - petit déj dans la moyenne.

Hotellet var relativt bekvämt och prydligt. Personalen i receptionen kunde dock vara trevligare. De verkade helt obekanta med bokningen via hotels.com.
