The rates were definitely "get what you pay for". Our comforter on the bed had a burn hole and a stain, the towels were like sandpaper, and the general room had a wet smell to it. You could also hear lots of what was being said next door, as the walls were thin. No shampoo in the room either, no soap. I would not stay here again.

There were food crumbs on several of the counters. When we arrived at 1030 pm the staff wasn't even sure if the room was ready yet, even tho it was that LATE at night. The shower was terrible and the towels felt like sandpaper. Good hotel for a short stay in Charlotte. They also run an airport shuttle which is very convenient.

This Hotel was sufficient for my needs. Small in size and close to the airport. My room was also pretty accurate to the picture. Shuttle service was swift and reliable.

Hotel staff were unfriendly and barely said anything at all. Condition was run down and had definitely seen better days. Maintenance items not repaired. Only consider if shopping on price.

The room was small but big enough for a single occupant. Don't expect free small bottles of shampoo and lotion, not here. But the staff is nice and friendly and makes up for all of its other short falls.

This was a great value for a quick, overnight stay while on the road. The hotel was conveniently located not far from RT. 77 and the airport. The rooms are modernly decorated like all Microtel hotels. Breakfast was complimentary and was worth it. Again, very good value hotel.

The room was small but clean and neat. It was nice for the price.

Front desk service at this motel was awful and the room we were given had a large water stain on the ceiling and the paint was bubbling off. The outside of the tub had mildew or dirt stains. (I was afraid to find out which.) Yes it's cheap, but it's not quality. Luckily, the beds were firm and comfortable.

This hotel was disgusting! Room was dirty, dingy, and smelled like smoke. Found pills on the floor. Would never stay there again.

linens and sheets are not great because some holes. breakfast is okay. i found iron was really burn and not taken care. light been broke. people don't have show their great attitude, smile, friendly and warm up.

THE STAFF THAT CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM WERE VERY NICE AND PERSONAL AND EVEN THOUGHT THE ROOMS WERE A BIT SMALL THEY HAD THIS COOL MIRROR WALL IN THE ROOM THAT WAS KIND OF FUN! Staff were nice and courteous, room felt cramped though, no coffee maker. Quiet though. Only problem I had was that I had reserved two rooms. When I got there the hotel said I had only one room reserved so I ended up paying for the 2nd room at the hotel front desk. Later found out that not only did Microtel charge me, Hotels.com had also taken money […] out of my personal checking. What resulted was double charges that caused checking account to bounce. Had to have money wired to a local wal mart just to get home on and hotel staff offered no solutions saying that it was Hotel.com's fault, not theirs despite showing the hotel that I had two confirmation numbers. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I appreciate the graveyard counter person, and both the drivers. It seems like they are in a position to fail but they are really sweet people. Swing shift counter person, not so much. Hotel, wow, so bad. I made reservations online. I was looking for clean, inexpensive, close to the airport with a free shuttle, My wife and I on a short layover needed […] some sleep. We arrived and the swing shift counter person was aloof and rude. She put us in room 225, stunk, a combination of cigarette smoke mixed with some fragrance trying to cover it up. My wife put a sweat shirt over her pillow because she was affraid to put her head on it. I was going to tolerate that until I discovered the exit door right below our room would open and slam shut every 15 minutes. This is at 11PM, guests who don't sleep if you know what I mean. I requested another room and was moved down the hall. The room didn't stink, but bass music from the parking lot or next door, loud talking made that room unbearable, remember the other guests aren't sleeping. So another room change, to the handicapped on the first floor, That room must be inspected by some goverment agency because it was spotless. It even had a flat screen TV instead of the garage sale models in the other two rooms. Still loud talking from the room next door so we finally took tylenol PM to try and get some sleep now it's 12:30 AM. We woke up at 5:30 to catch a 6AM shuttle for a 7:30AM flight. The shuttle was delayed waiting for other guests about 15-20 minutes adding extra anxiety about arriving late for our flight. My view, if you can't be on time, you take the next bus. This is the second time I have stayed in a Microtel and both of my stays were fine. Small room but I am only in there for approximately 8 - 10 hours. Check in -fast and check out faster. Clean, quiet and easy access.

Microtel Inn....what can I say...hmmm....the room was okay. I asked for a smoking room because my friend is a smkoer. had microwave and frig that was cool. The only bad thing about the room was that when I was unpacking and putting my clothes away in the closet, I found a pair of men's "DIRTY DRAWS" in the top part of the closet..."NASTY". This hotel was disgusting in every possible way i lost out on sleep because i was so uncomfortable.

Would not recommend. This hotel was very run down. If you are not spending much time in the room then you might be okay. For the price I was not happy!!

The staff is nice however the appearance of the hotel will make you want to change your mind about staying.

It was okay. Most of staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the bed linens had what looked like burn holes in them from smokers. This hotel was okay for a couple nights stay. I would not stay there for an extended period of time. The location is satisfactory if you are okay with driving 10 minutes or so to downtown. The staff at the hotel was nice, but there was a stain on the sheets. We had to go down stairs to get the new set. They said it had recently been remodeled, but the addidtions were not up to date. The A/C Stopped working on us, and it took more than 30 mins for them to come up and try to fix it. The TV worked but the Queen room is so small that the […] TV is up on a shelf in the corner. We arrived at the airport @ 6:35am, I called for the shuttle to pick us up and I was told the driver was on a errand and would be at the airport within 10-11 minutes, I had to call back after 20 minutes and was told then that the driver would be there within 5 minutes, we had to wait for 40 minutes for the shuttle.

Hotel and room very good. It was a little small but it worked for the trip. I would have like the physical fitness room to be a complete fitness room and not a hotel room. Need more space and few more exercise equipment.

Thought I was getting a good rate by using Hotels.com but found out that I had to pay more than if I had booked directly or just walked in.....what's up with that???? Why should I use you to get ripped off

Nothing special, equivalent to price. Breakfast was chincy, I saw the refrigerator in the photo and silly me hoped there maybe would be yogurt or something half-healthy, nope just a bit of milk. There was significant staining all over the room, including on the bedding, the chair, and the seating bench. Some of it looked to be food, but some of it looked to be bodily fluids. I'm sure the sheets had been washed (and hopefully bleached), but the bedding should not have been kept in circulation in the first place in this condition. The elevator stalled several times and had cracked tiles. The front desk staffer acted like she hated her job and only did the bare minimum to get us checked in. I definitely will not stay here again, as there are a number of other hotels in the immediate vicinity that probably don't charge too much more for a clean and stocked room. We stayed here because of an 11 hour lay over. I guess they must have had some flooding because they had some of the rooms doors propped open and fans running in the hallway. It smelled funny, not like the usual clean hotel smell, but I'll take into account they must have had unfortunate events with mother nature. The hotel van that picks people up from the airport was nice, as well as the driver. This hotel was decent. My wife and I found it to be ahotel that fit the bill for a place to lay your head down for the night.

After delayed flight we were unable to get our rental car. The hotel shuttle was also not available much to our surprise. Upon arriving at the hotel with 3 kids (10, 7, and 5), we were told no rollaway was available. Luckily there was a windowseat cushion my youngest was able to sleep on. No extra towels were available in the morning since the only person with a key to the laundry was driving the shuttle van. The front desk also did not have an area map. They did, however, have a bottle opener which they let me borrow. The room (except for the smell) was fine, the service was mostly indifferent, and the continental breakfast was only adequate.
