"Nice but....."
Quaint, great location, attentive staff but if you are a light sleeper, between outside traffic noise, barking dogs ( the hotel is pet friendly), and seemingly thin walls make it tough to sleep.

Our trip across the country was enhanced with our stay at the Golden Hotel. Everyone was super friendly and the room was extremely comfortable. This place is a must stay for all dog lovers traveling with pets since our Minnie Wire-haired dachshund was made to feel extremely welcome upon arrival.

Our stay in Colorado was for a wedding and Golden was enough in the mountains, next to a river, that it made our long weekend feel like a vacation. Good people, animal friendly, tasty meals out on the porch - bar and grill time was excellent. Shopping close at hand and good views. What more can you ask for? We'll be back.

Great Hotel if hanging out in Golden. Right on Clear Creek. Goods eats and bars within walk. Would stay again.

"The Golden Hotel - walk along the beautiful Creek"
The Golden Hotel is in a great location ... right in the middle of downtown Golden. You can walk to everything and best of all is the walking path along the creek. We loved the decor, our room was spotless, the onsite restaurant delicious and reasonable. You can't beat the views!

"Gode dager i Golden"
Hyggelig, rent og praktisk hotell i enden av hovedgata i Golden. Vennlig og hjelpsomt personale. Hotellet har restaurant for frokost og middag, men vi gikk ut og spiste på mindre lokale kafeer. Spiste middag kun en kveld på hotellet. Greit nok, men det finnes mange bedre alternativer i byen.
