Hampton Inn Long Island-Brookhaven - Farmingville

Great place to stay. Breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. Food in evening...great snack. Pool was wonderfully warm.

We needed to stay in the area for an early morning birthday party and the hotel was in a good location and seemed to have good reviews. They had great cheese omelettes and waffles that you could make yourself. Sausage was available as well as breads, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juices, and plenty of coffee. It was perfect for our family which included my husband, myself, our 2 1/2 yr old son, and my dad. Everyone was completely satisfied with all the accomodations (and my son loved the waffles!). Easy to find, lots of restaurants close. Clean and comfortable rooms and courteous people. I would go a little out of my way to stay there again.

Stayed here on Christmas, very friendly staff, spacious room, only negative I'd say is that the heater/ac unit in our room was quite noisy when it turned on during the night, loud enough to wake us up (but not keep us up).

Quiet with a nice indoor pool, and a full breakfast including waffles, eggs, muffins, fresh fruit... They even had fresh baked cookies and cocoa in the lobby, and 24 hr tea and coffee nearby. while i wish that hotels in this area were more inexpensive overall, this was an outstanding hotel, very clean, nice staff, and a great continental breakfast!

We were very happy with our accommodations at the Hampton Inn. The pool was warm and the breakfast provided a great assortment of foods thanks.

We had a problem with our initial room due to a strong smell of cigarette smoke. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, they immediately moved us to a better room which was very satisfactory. Excellent customer service!

Good price, but it was hard to get the room temperature to a comfortable level. We had preordered an additional cot, but we were told on arrival that one was not recommended for our assigned room. Breakfast was very tasty.

Wireless internet was not working. They said its been days and it has not been fixed. And yet they did not inform people who were booking that there was a problem with their computer systems. We would have not booked here if we knew. Except for this one glitch everything else was ok.

Hampton Inns are generally great with clean rooms and excellent quality. It may have been that this one was just overstressed from Hurricane Irene crowding, but the hotel just needed a spruce up. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, but there was no knob on the air conditioner. We were freezing. The hallway had no air. The only other complaint was that there are 6 floors and only 3 of the floors had working ice machines. The front desk was aware of this. Can't beat the daily complimentary breakfast. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Nice HD TV w/ HBO. Only complaint: the walls are 'thin'! We could hear conversations in the hallway from our room. There were allot of kids that wknd for an event & the hallways were noisy.

The hotel was very clean the staff was very kind and breakfast was ok to be included! The woman who ran breakfast all by herself was awsome made sure everyone had what they needed loved her!

Hotel room, corridors, lobby are very nice. Locasting hotel from main street is not convenient because the building is located in the rear of a shopping center, and only one driveway has a sign for entering. We arrived at the Hampton Inn at noon on the day of our reservation and were able to check in early. Which was definitely a good thing as we traveled 14 hours with two kids! The first thing I found upon entering the room was a dirty switch plate for the light in the bathroom...such an easy thing to clean but a huge turn off for me and my husband. Then to glance down and see that a piece of the tile was missing when I closed the door...unacceptable. I have stayed here before and as always everything was just fine. It is a nice clean and comfortable place to stay. The pool is nice too! The only thing that I did not like is that if you want a candy bar or a bag of chips you have to go down to the lobby and buy it from their little store there and you will pay 2$ for a little bag of chips or a candy […] bar. Hotel was very nice and location was close to both east and west Long Island (exit 63). Beds were a little hard, but for the money the room is large and breakfast was included daily. Plus has a pool to relax at night. Staff was nice. Overall a very nice stay, my family and I would definately stay there again.

The hotel is convenient to Rts. 83 and 16 and very close to K-Mart, Wal-Mart and other stores that were helpful to us when I realized I left my boys' dress socks at home in the dryer! My only complaints: the beds were super firm and uncomfortable, and my wife saw small ants in the hallway and on our windowsill. The light switch for the heat lamp in the bathroom was stuck (pushed in); therefore, the heat lamp was on the entire stay. Clean, convenient, and affordable. Always nice to have a fridge and microwave available in room and the kids loved playing in the pool. Great breakfast included.

Very clean room, friendly staff, good quality beds, elegant decor. Breakfast is free and not bad but I would have been ok to pay for something better. Nice pool, great for kids.

This was a most enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous. We plan to use this hotel in the future.

Room was perfect. Bed felt good and comforter was excellent. Breakfast was ok...I was expecting more, because of how great the room was. Swimming pool was fine...a little humid if you were just sitting around and lounging.

We didn't get in until midnight and the desk clerk greeted us with warmth and courtesy. Our room service was excellent!! The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We asked for extra pillows and they were brought to our room practically before I hung up the phone. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We have been at Hampthon two times. It is a okay hotel, a little bit noicy when the big trucks starting in the early morning. With all the trucks it is difficult to find a parking space. The breakfast is almost okay - but we have seen it better in the area.
