Best Western Plus On the Bay Inn & Marina - North Bay Village

Great place to stay if you want to be within driving distance to the beaches and downtown Miami. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

It was ok. Good breakfast included, plenty of parking. Hall walls little dirty, also carpets, but in general it was a nice stay.

We stayed during April vacation week, and the hotel was exceedingly busy, particularly noticeable at breakfast-time (where I was elbowed repeatedly by other guests). I don't care for that kind of feeding-frenzy atmosphere, so the free breakfast was a bit of a disappointment...I would recommend getting there early and taking your coffee to your room […] or poolside. Otherwise, the place was well-run, helpful staff (who even mailed back some personal items we had left behind by mistake), and nice, clean facilities. We only ate at Shuckers, the onsite restaurant once -- not particularly kid-friendly and quite overpriced, I thought. Everything was OK, room OK and very nice view to the bay. You will need a car. Wifi worked very well, breakfast OK, parking OK (no fee)

place is older but it is clean. good open air restaurant overlooking the intercoastal, nice pool but often shady, breakfast is ok, good parking, about 10 to 15 min drive to south beach. A little expensive for what you get but cheaper than south beach and not too far. Clean room, nice pool with a good bay view. We stayed here to avoid spring break noisiness on South Beach. Good that breakfast was included; good coffee, fruits, waffles, cereals, breads, eggs, sausages, etc. (It would've been even better if there were real boiled eggs instead of fake tasted egg omelets.) the room was super clean, breakfast was good, parking good - being able to get to ft lauderdale and miami beach easily was great - the restaurant and bar was lovely - good service and reasonable price - the view and being on the water- good, good good

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, although there are a number of improvements which would make this hotel more appealing. Firstly, the shuttle service from the hotel to the airport is scheduled rather than on demand, so if you have an afternoon flight you'll have to pay $38 plus tip for a taxi to get to the airport. Secondly, the breakfast selection […] is okay, but nothing to write home about, and definitely not 'Continental'. Well located for my purposes (near South Beach) and the free parking and breakfast and internet are definite advantages. The room needed renovation badly, the air conditioner was deafening, and the decor was very drab. But plenty of hot water, and the staff was efficient and pleasant. Glad to have the microwave aand refrigerator.

Everything was great. The only minus is the room was a bit small for my taste, but it wasn't too bad. Brilliant location, nice restaurant. I'm definitely returning to this one.

The hotel was fine - clean and in an area where it was quiet, not too close too all the South Beach noise and hubbub (which is good if you want to sleep!).

The hotel was very good, clean rooms and all together great. The only problem was that we had to wait 35 minutes for the hotel shuttle, and after a long day flying, was not appreciated.Better system for picking up people at the airport, driver needs to know the peoples name and only pick-up who is on his list. Liked the hotel alot.

We stayed here before and after our cruise. The staff was wonderful, and the hotel restaurant was really good. It is not really close to anything, but I didn't really need to go anywhere except the airport and the Port of Miami. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here during a convention for Market America at the American Airlines Arena. 15 min drive to the Arena. Older model of hotel but well maintained. Rooms were well kepted, staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was the internet access. Not very user friendly!

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with all the amenities. Very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Staff were very helpful. Hard to think of anything negative.

This is a Best Western, so don't expect 5 star decor, but it's in a great location and the staff was awesome! My only negative feedback is the balcony rooms did not face the water... but not a big deal since we were only staying here for one night before a cruise. The shuttle driver from the airport to the hotel was super cool. He pointed out the hotel […] where parts of the first episode of Dexter was filmed (where they find the body in the empty swimming pool), which was really cool. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. We paid $30 for the shuttle to the cruise port and got a coupon for a free beer/wine/soda at the restaurant. We didn't realize it was only good on the night we checked in, and we had planned to use it on the second day. Once we realized our mistake, we took it to the front desk when we checked out and the lady changed the date on the coupon and told us we needed to use the coupon because it was a good deal. If the restaurant gave us any problems, she said "tell them to call Anna at the front desk!" The restaurant was amazing! Great view of the bay, good food, and great music. The staff here was quite friendly too. The hotel also had a breakfast which was surprisingly pretty good. They had waffles, sausage, English muffins, etc. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice. We were very pleased with our choice as we booked blindly going by value for our money and online reviews. We got more than we expected and that is nice for a change! Great experience! Room was very clean and comfortable, but the A/C was a little noisy. The main hotel could use a little updating-it looks a little tired and outdated. For the pictures that were posted at Expedia I thought I was going to have a beautiful hotel with water front and swimming pool. It was not my experience. I expected more. The hotel was ok, the only plus is that it offers free parking, which was very convenient in Miami and also free breakfast, although the breakfast was nothing to rave about.

We were away from beach but very peaceful. The bar and grill Shucker was divine. We ate there every night. Staff very willing to help you. Bus over road $2 to anywhere.
