Would stay there again, even though the desk guy made an inappropriate joke about hookers staying at the hotel.

excellent hotel, especially for the $$....highly recommended

this is a exterior hotel and you get what you pay for. As a business traveller, I woudl stay here for a day or two but more than that woudl be uncomfortable. I do recommend this hotel as it is in a great neighborhood with a late night diner and starbucks across the street

The place was nice and affordable. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The only problem was that the ceiling above our toilet was constantly leaking.

Unprofessional when dealing with complications. Should not have taken over an half an hour to put me in my room.

I reserved a king size bed, and when I got there they didn't have any, and there was nothing they can do except give free chips and water.

We stayed in the small room with one double bed - it was tiny, but held all our luggage and large carseat with no problem. Room and bedding looked and smelt clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Room came equipped with a mini fridge and we asked for, and got a microwave in the room. Hotel is really motel-style, with all rooms opening into parking […] lot, so you can park right in front of your room door and easily wheel your luggage inside, which is a plus if you're travelling heavy. Staff were very nice. Breakfast in the morning was very basic, but there is a supermarket across the street and many restaurants nearby. Location is very central and easily accessible. The Best Western Woodbury Inn, Woodbury NY - It is close to all the highways, area was very quiet. Hotel provided a nice goody bag for the pet. The beds were comfortable. Staff was great. Great location, many nice places to eat in the surrounding area. The rooms were a good size and it was nice and clean. I would definetly stay here again.

the carpet needed to e shampooed

We stayed 1 night at this location and attended a friend’s wedding the next day. This is by far the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed in. It was new, bright, CLEAN, and very friendly. The location is fantastic too. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance.

I never encounter a grim ,cold reception like what I had in this hotel, I felt unwelcomed , and received what I paid for

Nice convenient location. The hotel staff was friendly. the rooms were clean. The breakfast was standard continental which was just fine.

Good News/Bad News Bad News, the rooms are small. Good News, great value, very clean, very convenient, updated furnishings, front desk staff worthy of a five star hotel, they are excellent. We book several rooms per night for our staff. This property will be our "official" hotel for business travel in Long Island.

nice facility, enjoyed the stay

This hotel is just very old. I actually didn't want to take my socks off and walk on the carpet barefoot and I didn't want to take a shower there. Overall experience was fine....did have problems with a charge being applied that took 3-4 days to be credited back.

We booked the hotel for NYE due to the convenience, it was near by and they had a shuttle. That being said, the rooms were not the cleanest and the safe did not work but the beds were comfy and showers had good water pressure. It's basically what you expect from a 2 1/2 - 3 star hotel. Though it is an older hotel it was clean and well maintained. It does have outside entrances on street level and its noisy. Don't rely on the shuttle to get you anywhere, it didn't show up and I had to take a cab.

Appreciated giving us a room on the top floor. The breakfast is OK... but Gabby's Bagel across the street on Jericho Turnpike was great, had breakfast, lunch and dinner deli style selections; as well as the pizzeria. Easy access to Hwy 135. Car service charged $10 to go 1/2 mile. Room was as small as a shed.

WHAT TO A WEDDING AND HAD MY KIDS MY WIFE AND MY DOG. WAS A NICE CHEAP HOTEL FOR THE PRICE. RIGHT OFF THE EXIT AND CLOSE TO STORES AND PLACE TO EAT. AND HAD A GOOD BREAKFAST. A GOOD HOTEL TO STAY FOR ONE OR TWO NIGHTS.

My room was sad and creepy. I don't think all best westerns are like this. The tv was nicer than the room. The clerk said three words to me "one oh three" and that was it. No direction (and it was the middle of the night and raining so I had to go find it myself) and no "morning coffee/newspaper" info. Room was a bit overcrowded with furniture; fairly clean but my coworker (who stayed in another room at the same hotel) said his smelled like an old smoking room that hadn't been completely cleaned out. Picked this hotel because the Fox Hollow Inn had no rooms available and this was the closest place to the Fox Hollow because we were attending a wedding there. Our Best Westerns room although comfotable, had no window and my husband and I felt very claustraphobic. We were booked for a one-night stay -- and were quite pleased. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked well. While there is a certain amount of unavoidable traffic noise, the walls aren't thin as they often are in newer properties. I never actually write reviews but make exceptions for when I really need to share a bad story. This hotel failed in a number of ways. The room formats were poorly laid out, such that our room had no side windows and only a single skylight. The question would be though, how do you block light in the morning with this setup? Well, there's a long stick […] in the corner of the room which you need to stand on the bed and forcibly yank a crappy set of blinds over. Sadly though the mechanism was broken and only got part way so you get a nice 6 am wakeup call. Next, do not hit any wall switches which don't turn on and off a light...because it will in-fact disable the air conditioner without telling you (the remote still shows it to be active). We found this out at the 6 am wakeup call by waking up to a very very warm room. Once you figure out the switch and to reboot the air conditioner, it created a very very loud rattling sound that is deafening at 6 am. So you're battling between the hot air (August in NYC) or the loud noises. Needless to say, it was not a very restful night. Was given a room that smelled, next to another room with a dog locked in who wouldn't stop barking. Upon requesting a room change away from the noisy dog, we were given another room with the same terrible urine smell. We thought we would be kept awake by dog noise, instead we were kept awake by dog smell. Room was damp and moldy smelling even with the air on. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate.
