Bonanza Inn Magnuson Grand Hot - ยูบาซิตี

This is an old hotel, which while clean has dark and poorly maintained rooms.

Staid over a couple of nighs to attend a wedding nearby. Everything was fine except the bed.Springs squeeked,

Everything was fine. The only down side was that the continental breakfast didn't open until 6. There was 4 guys staying in 2 rooms and they went up there to go fishing. They had to leave by 5. They said it would have been nice to be able to get a cup of coffee before leaving.

We stayed for one night for our Bike Around the Buttes. This hotel is very clean and hotel staff was all friendly. It is close to a lot of great dining places.They also have a breakfast buffet with hot meals. The hotel Manager Casey was really helpful and friendly. Will come back again.Thank you!

Hotel was clean and comfortable, only issue is the niose from outside, walls are thin. The free breakfast buffet was very nice, nice selection of hot food. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for the area. We would stay here again.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here as it is such a good deal. The rooms are just as good as any chain hotel but much cheaper. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel shows that management is diligently trying to upgrade and update the rooms. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room also came with a microwave and refrigerator, which we didn't have in the 4-star the previous night. Nice to have 2 luggage racks also. If nothing else, stay here for the breakfast. friendly and very courteous staff; clean rooms; comfortable bed

We thought that the room was quite nice for the price. The only thing that ruined the stay was the lady at the front desk when we checked in. She seemed cold and disinterested. I had booked 2 rooms...1 for us and 1 for our daughter/ When my daughter checked in later, they had not changed our reservation to a 2 bed room, as I had requested a few days […] before our check-in date. They did change her from a 1bed to a 2 bed room,( after some haggling) on the 3rd floor. When my daughter asked where Rom 3---was. The answer twas on the 3rd floor..If you are at the front desk,you cannot see a third floor. She did not offer a location map, but told our daughter that them room was "in the back". Perhaps, she was having a bad day...in which case , she should have taken a mental health day. The Bonanza will be our go to hotel when we come to visit our son who lives in your area. Nice room the service was outstanding, and the price was very reasonable.

No complaints at all. Had great service and steaks in the restaurant much better meal than I would expect at a motel. Highly recommend this place.

Great value for the money. Breakfast is outstanding.The staff all very nice. Will stay here anytime.

This was my first time in the area visiting my friend who is stationed at Beale Air Force Base. This hotel was perfect for what my needs were and was the best price and quality around. It very easy to navigate to and from the base to the hotel. Everyone I encountered was polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet was yummy an had a decent selection of […] items to choose from and it was included in my rate. The drive to the base takes about 25 minutes and there are a lot of resturaunts to chose from. We stayed three nights and everything was fine. Not especially luxurious, but neat and clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was tasty. The central Yuba City location was close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay here agian.

We usually stay at a newer--and more expensive--motel in Yuba City. As it was just my son and I instead of the usual family of 5, and w/ finances being what they are, we chose to try and save some money on our annual trip to Yuba City. The room was large, clean and well equipped. The bed (a King size for my 11yr old son and I) was very comfortable. […] The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, fruit, toast, english muffins, cereal, oatmeal and more. It was very good. Certainly not like an upscale restaurant, but far from "cafeteria food." That it is included in the price of the room is an added bonus, saving me another $25 that I'd have spent on breakfast. Check out time was 12 o'clock which gave us plenty of time to get ready and packed. I probably spoke w 4-6 employees doing various jobs--housekeeping, front desk, a fellow picking up trash in the parking lot, the breakfast area) and they were all pleasant and helpful. . A friend stayed here also w/ his wife and 2 sons and paid just a litttle more for a room w/ 2 Queen beds. No complaints about anything regarding the stay. Can't beat it for the price.

Just think they should pay a little more attention to cleaning the rooms.

There are not a lot of options in YC unless you want to pay triple in price. This hotel has nice people working there a good full comp breakfast & restaurant on site. The room had a good TV :) The room itself is far from romantic, but just ok. They had a small frig, microwave & coffee machine in the room, that was thoughtful.

A very nice Hotel for the money u would spend $80 more for a hotel with what this one gives.

We found the Bonanza Inn Magnuson an exceptional hotel, & exceeded my expectations in quality of arrangements, value of food services & overall experience. Members of my family from all over the U.S. came & stayed here to attend a long over due reunion/birthday party for our dad who turned 90. They share in my review as to the accommodations by staff […] & service alike. We all particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet from 6am-10am. This gave us a comfortable range in timing to start our day with family companionship. I enjoyed a great dinner with my daughter & granddaughter in their restaurant where we warmly greeted & quickly served by a very friendly hostess. I stayed there for 1 week and all was fine. Breakfast was good. I will be coming back in 2 weeks and I'll be staying there again.

At the price we paid I expected 'a complimentary breakfast' to be coffee with some bagels and rolls. Instead we got full-on eggs, sausage/bacon, home-frid potatoes, etc. The overall experience was like that, always more than we expected for the rate we paid. Definately recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised. Flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. Plus it comes with a very nice hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns.

Everyone that asked me where I was staying, when I said "the Bonanza Inn", replied with "Nice place!". So, based on the local reckoning, it's great. My own comparisons of almost any place I have been in the last year put the Bonanza at the bottom quarter. The bed was ancient and uncomfortable, the clientele were noisy and inconsiderate, the air conditioner/heater […] was so loud you could not watch TV or think with it running. The motel worker told us not to walk 3 blocks to Target after dark. I drove there in the daylight and saw no problems then.

Friendly staff...great price...clean...everything we needed...and a fine breakfast included! Good food in the hotel restaruant...and one free dinner with coupons. A great deal!

I was pleased with most all aspects of the hotel. With the breakfast included, nice rooms, and good location I considered it a great value.

Nice clean hotel with courteous and efficient staff. The price was definitely reasonable. We enjoyed our stay - and our free hot breakfast in the morning! We would definitely would recommend this to others.

couldnt sleep. felt like bugs crawling on me.

This is probably the best you're going to find in this town. Very nice room, good complimentary breakfast, clean pool and hot tub. My only gripe was that the housekeeping wasn't perfect (bed sheets not tucked in all the way).

The room was large with a microwave and a refrigerator. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only negatives I would say were that the air conditioning unit was loud and the room had a funny smell--not terrible--more like it had formerly been a smoking room and they had used products to mask that smell. Have been staying there for many years...would not stay anywhere else.

Me and my sister stayed here for a concert they were having near by and i thought the stay was great. The room was nice and there's a mall a block a way. Plus they had free breakfast which was good too. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in that area.

Great price...quality room...we jumped in hot tub after hours..they called the cops on us...we laughed ..we will stay again that's a great price
