We stayed just one night while driving home on the way from Edmonton. Our room was newly renovated and clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding were very comfortable as well. .....but should we have contiued our drive into the night? We were charged a fee on our credit card incase or breakages - but we were told it would vanish by the time we got home (so I will see when I get my bill). We were charged this pre authorisation fee at a couple of the hotels that were in the middle of nowhere but not in the city hotels?! It […] did feel like something from a film when we first pulled up, like 'the wrong turn' or 'the hills have eyes' but we had paid and were tired so we stayed. If we hadn't we wouldn't. The hotel was located at an ideal step of our trip. The personal (owner?) was very assistant and helped to get a enjoyable stay in the mountains.

We were very pleased with the staff and the accommodation in general. The attached restaurant offered good food at a fair price. The one problem we encountered during our stay was that WIFI did not work in any location we tried at the hotel.

While the hotel room itself was clean and quite comfortable, I found the hotel staff unfriendly. As well, the restaurant in the hotel was dirty, fairly undesirable and completely over priced. Having few other choices for dining in the area, we ate here twice and both times regretted it.

We recently stayed overnight at the Blue River Sandman. Our room had been recently renovated and was very nice. The bathroom was very clean, fresh and modern. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet. It was an excellent experience for a roadside motel.

This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget but insist on cleanliness and comfort. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The diner next door, serves great food in generous portions at very reasonable prices and the staff were so friendly too.

Clean, comfortable and such friendly staff!

Room was not elder friendly. Beds were close together and to the wall. Duvet dragged on the floor which was a tripping hazard in the middle of the night when my mother got up to visit the bathroom. She ended up in Clearwater hospital with a fractured pelvis.

En Blue River sólo hay 250 habitantes,es por tanto un lugar de paso,y este hotel está muy bien.
