The Okura staff at the front desk as well as housekkeping are all very polite and helpful. The television didn't work and repair man had it right in half an hour. It was overall an enjoyable stay.

Just had my stay with this nice hotel. The standard room was clean and nicely decorated. The service in general very friendly and helpful. The location is great for those who need a calm night away from the noise of the city center. The hotel is nevertheless very well conected with places such as the Museums and main touristic places near the Dam. The […] food in the restaurants is also very good and is cute to see the japanese waitresses in traditional clothes. The only inconvenient for me is that the breakfast does not have the choice for low fat products which I did find in other 5 star hotels. Therefore, of the two nights I stayed there, I took the breakfast only once. Worth the stay for the food alone. Very good service, not quite Asia but better than most 5 star in Europe. Cleaners went the extra mile which was nice.

Set in a somewhat sleepy residential neighborhood, my three night stay at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam was a very nice one. Early checkin request accommodated, outstanding restaurants in which I ate two dinners, excellent small breakfast buffet, discreet and polite service. Good price on the room compared to other options. Perhaps the only downside […] is the location, if you can call it a downside. We stayed in a deluxe room, which i think was worth it. It had lots of space, and a fantastic bathroom and great view. It was also very quiet. (I got the room at a 10% discount because i found a voucher code online. I would recommend searching for hotels.com vouchers so you can get 10% off any hotel you book through it.) The room did not have a balcony. […] I'm not sure if any did, though i did see balcony's on the outside of the building from one side. The air conditioning gave some trouble and was turned off at 1:00am so you could no longer use it. Luckily we could open the window though not too much. The duvet's on the bed were quite heavy so that it was difficult to not get too hot with them on even when the room was at 20C, the coolest the air-conditioning allowed. The bed did not have a top sheet, only the duvet, so it was that or nothing. The main thing i did not like was that the room did not include free internet which seemed a bit poor for a deluxe room. They wanted a lot of money for use of the internet. I really liked the hotel, the staff and the room. I just think that for the price you pay for a deluxe room it would be nice to include internet, use of the pool and maybe even breakfast. If you could find a hotel which includes all that in a package, then it would be really great. Some people said you need to take tram 12 to go to the restaurants etc. but there actually were a lot of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which was a nice surprise. We didn't eat at the hotels restaurant on the 23rd floor as it just seemed very expensive. I would recommend this hotel to other's and would possibly stay there again if in Amsterdam. The Okura Hotel has excellent dining and a very nice bar that sits right on one of the canals. It's very clean and a great atmosphere, which should be expected from a somewhat expensive hotel. All told, it was a very nice stay if you feel like spoiling yourself a little bit.

Clean, tidy, and all that you would expect from a five star hotel. Proximity is close to the musueam quarter but about a half hour walk to the city centre it'self. Prices were good compared to other 5 star hotels. Tram outside the door which took 8-10mins to Dam sq which was fine but you wouldn' walk it at night, especially after a few drinks. Room very nice but for a 5* I would expect tea/coffee making facilities and a bit more luxury. Gym not included in price, again would expect more from a 5*. Meget bra, men frokost og søss delingen bør være med i prisen. Det er surt å måtte betale ekstra for dette som man tar som en selvfølge nor en er ute å reiser.

Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis nicht angemessen. Der Service ist für ein Haus das sich "leading Hotels of the World" nennt, eher mäßig. Da ich Weltweit 6 Monate im Jahr, 3,4 und 5 Sterne Hotels besuche, ist dieses bei mir unter der Kategorie "nicht besonders empfelendwert" zu verbuchen.

bra hotell, men ikke all that dårlig service og dyrt! langt fra sentrum!

Hotellet infriade förväntningna på ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. Dock är 30 euro för en måttligt imponerande frukostbuffe rena rånet, den borde ingått i det rätt höga priset för rummet. Likaså borde internet på rummet ingå. 12 euro extra när du redan betalat 2200 / natt känns lite futtigt av dem.

Fantastisk Japansk Hotell som oser av østasiatisk luksusfølelese, med zengarden og spa. Allikevel deilig at hotellet ligger i De Pijp, så kan man kombinere en lett luksus med markeder og folkeligheten i dette byområdet. Fantastisk service, room-service anbefales om man ikke har råd til Michelinguiderestauranten i toppetasjen :-D

Hotel extrêmement agréable. Chambres spacieuses, salle de fitness bien équipée, plusieurs restaurants de qualité. Une seule erreur surprenante pour un hotel de cette catégorie : notre chambre n'avait pas été préparée lors de notre retour a 17h !

Hotell Okura är ett fint hotell med bra service. Allt man skulle kunna tänka sig är lite bättre utbud på frukosten samt att tillgång till SPA-avdelningen och internet inte borde kosta något extra på ett hotell där allt "ska finnas".

prima hotel, maar wel heel zakelijk, niet gezellig voor weekendje..champagnebar op 23e heeft mooie ligging, maar gaat pas om 18.00 open (jammer voor de vrijdagmiddagborrel)..Ontbijt in ongezellige ruimte...

Localização excelente, lugar calmo, com vista maravilhosa, instalações novas e conservadas, serviço de portaria muito eficiente, quarto enooorme. Recomendo com louvor.

Schönes Hotel, nettes Personal, aber Wellness und Entspannung kostet zusätzlich Geld. Der zusätzliche Preis für den Wellnessbereich ist nicht gerechtfertigt und die Summe von momentan 15€ nicht wert. Man kann es nicht vergleichen mit anderen Hotels in Deutschland wo es inkl. nicht exkl.!!!!

Mooi hotel echter prijs/kwaliteit ons inziens niet op orde (gezin zonder kinderen). Ontbijt en drankjes aan de bar zijn erg duur in verhouding tot de kwaliteit en locatie. Ontbijtzaal is 5 sterren onwaardig & bovenbar te klein opgezet ons inziens.

ottimo hotel con più ristoranti tutti di ottimo livello. Buon breakfast ma abbastanza costoso. Da un hotel a 5 stelle non ci si aspetta di pagare il wi-fi in camera e l'accesso all'area fitness/piscina!

El hotel es de primer nivel y sus restaurantes, aunque caros, extraordinarios. Si reservan a través de hotels.com el precio es muy atractivo.

Bonnes prestations, chambre confortable mais attention, sur place TOUT est payant (et très cher) : de l'accès à la piscine au... tire bouchon ! sans oublier le petit dejeuner au tarif excessif. Le service est parfois déplaisant : réponse insolente du staff (room service, accueil de la piscine). Vi er meget tilfredse med den samlet oplevelse af vores ophold på Okura, vi syntes dog at der manglet lidt i forhold til rengørelse af vores værelse - vi tænker specifikt på støvsugningen af værelset, i løbet af opholdet. Ellers en helt i særklasse hotel oplevelse i fantastiske Amsterdam.

Mycket fint hotell med otrolig service. Fina rum och väldigt fräscht överlag. Jag är väldigt nöjd med allt. Önskar bara jag hunnit testa Spa och resturangen längst upp... Det man kan tänka på är att hotellet inte ligger nära city. Dock så ligger det en spårvagnsstation utanför med 2 linjer (10 min) till både city och det kulturella delarna. Frukosten […] som inte ingick var otroligt bra men dyr. Finns dock gott om fina ställen att äta på som alternativ över hela Amsterdam. Super aardig personeel. Verzorging in hotel is top. Helaas; Kamers en bed erg klein. Mijn man is gelukkig slank maar wel 1.90 lang. Dus het bed was net breed en lang genoeg. Badkamer; kan m'n make-up spullentjes niet kwijt. Douche gaat tot 38graden super voor milieu maar ik kies dan voor 5 min lekker heet douchen inplaats van 15 min 38 graden. Na een […] boottocht is 38 niet genoeg! Het personeel maakt alles goed en dat alles schoon is en een goede lokatie. Komen graag nog een x terug. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Although the information available suggested that all taxes were included in the tariff shown at the site, i was charged an additional tax per each night. city tax or similar. I was disappointed that this info was not available. Best regards,

Vi blev mycket besvikna över att behöva betala 15 € för att kunna simma i poolen och att betala skatt trots Hotel.coms skrev att alla skatter inkluderades. 6€för en vatten på rummet var också lite väl dyrt. Och läget på hotellet är fint men inte alls centralt så vi kommer inte att boka det hotellet fler gånger.

Olin ryhmämatkalla Amsterdamissa, enkä ollut tyytyväinen siihen kuuluvan majoituksen laatuun. Otin sitten Internetistä ensimmäisen vapaan majoituksen, joka sattui olemaan hotellissa Okura Amsterdam. Se sijaitsee keskustasta noin parin kilometrin päässä, eli kaukana hälinästä. Vastaanottoaula oli huikean kaunis. Receptionistit olivat ystävällisiä ja […] avuliaita, mutta ehkä hieman alentuva asenne oli aistittavissa, olinhan tavis ja kenties poikkesin heidän normaalista asiakaskunnastaan. Huone oli siisti, mutta ehkä hieman nuhruinen loistokkaaseen aulaan verrattuna. Sänky oli hyvä, nukuin kuin tukki. Aamiainen oli loistava, paras koskaan syömistäni. Täyden palvelun aamiainen todellakin. Huoneessa oli kaikki, mitä hotellilta ikinä voi vaatia. Sa situation légèrement excentrée du tumulte des pôles touristiques est un atout. D'autant plus qu'idealement placé pour rejoindre n'importe quel site par tout type de transport à proximité immédiate.
