One of the best hotels in Minneapolis....try The Loop and Black Sheep Pizza....both just behind the hotel....great staff....

"Fine Hotel...but the guests...ugh"
The hotel is clean and the staff is nice. The location of the hotel is fine, and the rate was pretty decent. The class of people that stay at the hotel was disappointing. Dogs running in the rooms, children running unsupervised in the halls...kind of a mess.

"Better than expected"
We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. Planned only one night followed by camping. As the state parks were closed, we asked the front desk if we could extend our stay one day. They had one room available, and after hearing our story, gave us the room at a highly discounted rate. Front desk service was remarkably good. A couple of additional notes -- the front desk did not always respond to the phone, and the kitchenette lacked a few useful things like a good skillet or a whisk.

"Great stay at Towneplace Suites in Minneapolis"
We were in Minneapolis to see the Twins/Blue Jays. The hotel was close enough to Target Field to walk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area was great, with restaurants, bars close by. Arrived late, but was handed menus for two restaurants that delivered 24 hours. Have a menu for close by restaurant in room that delivers free of charge 7am-11pm. I ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner (at least one of each) during my three day stay. Each meal was hot on arrival, very reasonably priced and food was good. We loved our stay at Towneplace! The bed was amazingly comfy and also had a pull-out couch (although we didn't need it) and a full kitchen (fridge, oven/stove, dishwasher, and all the kitchen necessities). "Downtown Minneapolis-Great Location"
This was the least expensive hotel in the area, and it was withing walking distance of the Acme Comedy Company, which was the purpose of our trip. There was also a great market just across the road. My only complaint is on tv in room. Should be flat screen and at least 42". It is a suite w/ kitchenette and people spend time in there.

"Great for Twins game!"
We stayed in this hotel to go to a Twins game. The location was great, only about 4 blocks from Target Field. THe hotel staff was friendly and helpful and everything was as expected.

Clean, but couches were well worn. Also some floor coverings had holes and some doors were damaged. Good area a lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops around.

"Great space at a low price"
For less than a standard room at other local hotels, we got a terrific 2 room suite with kitchen that suited our needs perfectly.

This hotel was amazing for the price! It is also within walking distance of a lot of stuff. The only thing that disappointed me is that they charge for parking and I swear I read that there was no charge for parking.... Oh well, it was great either way!

This is a decent hotel for the money. We chose it for its location....great location in downtown Minneapolis!!! We loved the secure underground parking and other security features. "Quiet, clean and very convenient Hotel"
I visit family in Minneapolis every year and always want to stay at Towneplace Suites. It is a very clean and convenient Hotel in the city. Employees of the Hotel take very good care of the Hotel and of their guests I always feel very safe and very comforted when I stay at the Townplace Suites.

It was not very expensive to stay here and the room was very clean and functional and served its purpose. Nothing fancy, and could use some updates, but can't complain!
