hotel did not disclose that the lobby was under renovation. surrounding was dusty. breakfast area was moved from the lobby (under renov) to a makeshift small and confined meeting room.

Condition of hotel was not very good. Obvious construction probably to upgrade was occurring but the coffee/tea area was dirty and not well supplied. Compared to other Hamptons this didn't feel like one. Oh! and no microwave or fridge.

Great central location in Kendall and close to freeway access to get you anywhere you need to go. Only problem with this location is the parking. The parking lot is not the biggest and if your planning on bring out late plan on mounting a curb or two to park in the grass. I really enjoyed my stay at te Hampton Inn Dadeland. Staff was friendly almost to a fault, rooms were great and they let us pretty well have free reign of the pool which closed at 9 but we enjoyed well into the night. The hotel facilities were wonderful. Beautiful clean rooms, wonderful full breakfast every morning. There was some problem at the hotel the first night, and we had to be relocated to another hotel the first night of our stay. Staff was friendly and very responsive to our needs, however the A/C power and the TV power went out at different times. Breakfast was very generous and a variety for all - not just muffins and coffee. Location withinwalking distance to Dadeland Mall and Target!

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean, staff was great and friendly to our kids. The early check in was fantastic, breakfast was also very good. Kids loved the pool. For the money, would stay again.

I always stay at Hilton hotels, so I am used to the way the should be run. This one was okay, but I've been to better. The staff was very friendly, but not as efficient as I'm used to. The microwave was gross at breakfast, items kept running out, and they don't leave the cocoa and tea options out all day. We choose this hotel because of it's location to both the Keys and the Port of Miami. I needed something in between with good access to the US1. The check in was the best I have ever had, becasue I pre-paid with Expedia, I just had to give my name and they handed me the room card. It took all of 30 seconds, perfect. The front desk was very helpful and […] friendly. Plenty of parking. Great location, close to shopping, restaurants and the light rail system. Easy to get to downtown, South Beach and the airport. Breakfast was more than adequate, not enough seating for the amount of guests however. It was too busy on the Saturday morning, so we choose to go to a restuarant instead - we just didn't want so much commotion. Coffee/tea is 24/7 however, at nightime, I found the coffee not very hot. We had a King room on the 4th floor, facing the back. Nothing fancy, but clean. The tub wouldn't hold water because the plug didn't seal completly. I need to give my little girl a bath, so I just held the plug down until the water filled the tub. It leaked slowly out. Not a big deal. The hotel is very clean. Having said that, it is in need of an update. It is not quite up to the standards of most Hampton Inn's. I found nothing dirty, just a little tired. The wallpaper, carpets and tiles were showing age. The room was clean, customer service was good, in walking distance of the Dadeland mall. The housekeeper (if correct title) was friendly and courteous and did excellent job of keeping room clean. Coffee and tea available round the clock. Although there were many quest, it was quiet and peaceful.

Staff was pleasant and facility (including room) very clean. Location is convenient to most Miami sights, but you must have a car as the hotel is not located in a pedestrian-friendly location. Hampton Inns are always good and the Miami Dade is very good. The room was clean, comfortable, and QUIET. The walls are either soundproof or we had very quiet neighbors. The breakfast was excellent. We booked 9 rooms at the Hampton from Dec 30th - Jan 4th 2012. During our stay one family put her Kindle Fire one of the drawers and it was taken stolen. Another family member forgot her mobile phone under her pillow and that too disappeared. When the family member realised that she had forgotten her phone in her room and called to ask them to secure […] it for her, she was informed that her phone wasnt found. We believe the front desk clerk was tired of her calling and he rudely told her that " she is harrassing him". We will definately not be staying at this hotel agian. Stay away. We had a nice room on the 5th floor however, smoking is allowed (for some reason they still offer) on that floor and the hallways STUNK of smoke!!

Great stay. No issues with hotel and this is my second time there. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly and the maids are great. Room is comfy and clean. The only downside is the hotel breakfast...if you eat healthy and gluten free you won't find much to eat--yogurts available but sugary and not the healthiest brands. All the staff are great. Rooms are clean. Comfy beds, great maid service. Safe location. Can get hotel shuttle to shopping, airports. Great restaurants nearby. Only complaint is the complimentary breakfast is not very healthy and very limited in choices. I do like this hotel.

The only complaint that we had was for the shower. We had a handicapped accessible room and when you took a shower you flooded the bathroom. We tried putting towels down around the shower curtain but this did not help.
