This is the second time I have stayed at the Vancouver Fairmont and I must say it is a great Hotel on all levels from Quality and Service. My only regret is having to leave....would stay forever it they would let me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone not only for it location but everything else it has to offer.

I was very impressed with the hotel. Have stayed there before and am never disappointed. All staff are very friendly - making you feel important to them.

I would suggest Fairmont to scrap the pool as it is more like a bigger jacuzzi than a pool which was a real disappointment...For the convenience, we have chosen this hotel as our flight leaves early morning. On our next stay, we will check out another comparable hotel that has a real pool!

For the price I expected free wi-fi - not to pay $15. Tables etc in room were dusty, plug in bath didn't work properly and bath took forever to fill up. Bottle of water supplied but had to pay for it. Nice coffee maker and comfortable beds. Breakfast very expensive for what we got but service very good. Would not pay the money to stay here again. It was wonderful!.. and so relaxing to know there would be no traffic or parking problems the morning of our flight departure.

We ALWAYS stay here at the airport before flying our the next day. Rooms/service/beds and everything is fantastic.

Hotel is very good for what it does, although this was reflected in the price I paid. Pool and gym are very good. Make sure you get to the free coffee and pastries quickly, they had disappeared by 7.

After arriving from a late flight check in only took 30 seconds. Quite literally 10 minutes after picking up our bags we were in our room. The room was fantastic! very clean very comfortable. This is also probably the quietest hotel I have stayed in. Anyone having to overnight for a flight the few extra dollars not having to deal with cabs or shuttles […] along with the fantastic facilities it is worth the money. We just had an overnight stay as we came in on a late flight and were moving on to the Sunset Inn & Suites for a month's stay in Vancouver. We found that meal prices to room were rather high ... a Continental Breakfast at $20????? We had a nice hot breakfast down at the terminal bakery for $13 for 2 people. After a long journey it was nice to have a non complicated arrival at the hotel. The room was clean, warm and contained all the comforts of home. I was pleasantly pleased to see a kettle, and a kureg coffee machine. The place was extremely quiet and I was able to relax into a wonderful sleep. I highly recommend this hotel.

Worth every penny ... The hotel is inside the hotel and an easy short walk to rental cars. The staff and rooms are first class.

I only stayed for one night but the service was exceptional and so convenient to stay right in the airport to catch an early morning flight! The check-in experience was complete with a blink of an eye too which I loved! Thanks

A very disappointing stay. The room had no black tea and no spoons (only wooden stir sticks) which for a hotel of this quality was underwhelming. There were no robes in the room meaning that we had to forgo our spa experience. In addition we asked about booking at the hotel dining room but were told it was unnecessary, then when arriving were told we […] could not sit by the window as those seats were "booked"!! We had the definite feeling that "businessmen" were being favoured in the restaurant. A complaint to the manager was too late to rectify a litany of errors and omissions at this hotel, other than a refund of 50% on the dining bill. However the manager did make sure that our experience at the Empress in Victoria for the next two days was memorable and we appreciated that very much. The hotel is ideal for overnight travelers, with long layovers! Personally, I stayed for 2 nights, to wait a flight home after brain surgery, and the staff in the hotel made me feel very welcomed! Well worth the rates! Check out the great breakfast buffet!

We arrived at midnight; desk clerk helped me make arrangements for next day's transportation by taxi to our next destination and had the information for me by the time we got to our room. In spite of being right beside the runways (great views) the hotel is very quiet. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying this convenient hotel.

Easy acces from International Flights. Accommodating to travellers with various check in and out requirements. Internet connection. Room extremely comfortable for our stopover.

The hotel itself is wonderful; right in Vancouver Airport and very comfortable. The only issue I had there was with the room service; it was terrible. Brought me a meal that was only half of what it said on the menu and when brought to their attention, did very little about it. Apart from that, was a lovely stay

There is no more perfect location if your in transit. A tad pricey but the ease of location can't be beat. My only reason for a 4 on staff is when checking in we had to negoiate an option insead of the employee offering a solution to our request to check in an hor before std check in times. Convenient, surprisingly quiet and great place to stay between connecting flights. Train to city is right at your door and luggage storage available. The electronic lighting controls a little confusing at first also the "do not disturb" button was not that obvious.

Beautiful hotel, such helpful staff, the perfect location, we took advatage of the spa services and highly recommend that. Will stay here again, and highly recommend it to all.

Relatively soundproof with fun views of runways and mountains, the hotel is great for an overnight stay. Pool is underwhelming and funky looking. And I was baffled by the wallpaper that ended before the end of the wall. Other than that, and the weird blinking/chirping sensor in the upper corner, a very pleasant room. how awesome after traveling all day to land at the airport... and already be at your hotel! A typical fairmont hotel... warm, welcoming, inviting. no difference just because you are at the airport. Very nice hotel located right in the Vancouver Airport. Literally go down stairs and you are in the airport ticket counter area. Got a free upgrade to a signature room. Beautiful with jetted tub and walk in shower. Amazingly quiet for being in the airport. You could not hear the jets taking off or landing. We have stayed here before, and wanted to come back. It was every bit as good as the first time. Despite being located at the airport, the rooms are amazingly quiet. It's easy to get into the city via "Trans Link" (light-rail).
