The rooms/carpets were dirty upon our arrival. Our bed sheets had drops of dried blood on them, and when asked to change them, they simply remade the bed with the same sheets. We didn't get our rooms "cleaned" until 6pm when it should have been taken care of in the morning. The hotel was always understaffed and when we went down to breakfast at 8:50am, […] there was no more food and when we asked for someone to resupply it, we were told that there was not enough people on staff to accomidate and we had to make due with what was left. Do NOt go to this hotel. The floors are about to fall in, there was drugs, parties, the rooms were dirty, there was a odor throughout the hotel, the room safety lock was broken, there was bullet holes in the window of the entrance, there was mole in the rooms, and poor lighting. This was the worst Days Inn ever. First I was charged 20.00 more for the night than what I was quoted. Then i had to kill roaches in my room. No light fixtures just a bulb..patches on the wall where there were holes and they had been patched. carpet was filthy and the room stunk. I had no choice but to stay because my card had already been charged.

We always try to stay at a Days Inn where ever we go. I have 3 small girls and have never had a problem before. First of all the floor in our room was wet. I have a 8 month old so keep her off the floor was hard but also our feet being wet was bad too. Also the wifi was not available. The breakers were blown in the breakfast room so the toaster and drink dispenser were not working. Then the items u could get we're gone quickly with no restock. The hotel was decent but wasn't up to par for the price. The breakfast area had electrical problems so it was delayed. The area was not tended to either. Shortage of food and no drinks. Room floors were in need of a cleaning rather than a vacuum. Had to put trash can under sink because of leaks.

I requested a non-smoking room. The room reeked of air freshener. I opened the window, went out for dinner, but the place was still awful when I got back. The upholstered chair reeked of second hand smoke The hallway carpets are old and seemed full if years of grime. Worst if all: the card keys to my room didn't work properly and the door wouldn't open. […] The might manager had to come up herself three times to try to open the door. She explained that there was a "prankster ghost" in the hotel that enjoyed fooling with the door locks. Next time I should speak to the ghost and tell him to back off. Really? Unbelievable, and unacceptable. Just poorly maintained, old equipment. Breakfast was also pitiful: watery waffle batter that stuck to the waffle iron, no fruit, no yogurt, packaged tiny "Danish" pastries, coffee that tasted like dishwater. What a dump. I stay at the Days Inn Moile -Airport Jan 27th when I went to the Senior Bowl football game. It is a very good room for the money. It is also in a good location,near plenty of good restaraunts. I was very satisfied with my stay at the Days Inn in Mobile, AL.

I have stayed at this Days Inn on several occasions. I have always enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very close to the interstate, shopping, resturants and many other things. The only problem I had this trip was that the temperature in the halls was very warm. Although the room temperature was extremely comfortable.

They tried to charge me again because I did not bring my print out from Hotels.com and at a higher rate. We could hear the people in the room above us. The hall carpets was spotted and smelled bad. the walls was so thin I could hear a text message I got on my phone from all the way down to the entrance fo the hall. They give us a early check in which worked out great for us since we had drove 3 1/2 to have surger and needed a place we knew we would be able to get in the room

At check-in the clerk was very friendly. The hotel smells from smokers since it has smoking rooms. The room, however, did not smell. The cleanliness could be better. The hotel was very good, Clean and very comfortable. The only complaint i have is the free breakfast They had bread and pastries but they were so stale and the waffle iron was broken.

This was a really good bargain for any traveler who expects a clean room but does not need other hotel amenities. The pool is small and breakfast very basic. . I had trouble getting the room key card to work but otherwise it was satisfactory.

This hotel needs some cleaning!!!!

THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR ANYONE TO STAY THE PLACE NEEDS WORK, THE OUTSIDE LOOKS GOOD BUT THE INSIDE NEEDS HELP, THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH STAFF AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE NOT DONE A GENERAL CLEANING IN A LONG TIME

Hotel room had a dank musty smell combined with smokey smell. I'd say it was a step up from a rent by the hour no tell motel. We had to go to the lobby on 4 different occasions because the room cards wouldn't open our room. Finally the fourth time they told us we may want to keep them away from our keys or cell phones as they tend to make the keys ineffective. […] Overall I wouldn't stay again. Run down is saying it nicely. Total dump! Front desk and housekeepers polite. Their maintenance man (who was also very nice) will always have a job...

i thought the hotel needed more cleaner carpets they were very dirty and the carpet in my room was not clean either may need new carpets..the new towels had stains on them i had to replace them...there was no one at the front desk most of the time...the breakfast was horrible the only thing good was the juice.

I THINK IT'S TIME TO REMOVE THE 1970'S STAINED INDOOR OUTDOOR CARPET AND UPDATE. OUR SHEETS WERE STAINED AS WERE OUR WASH CLOTHS. THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED BLEECH THAT IS OUT ON THE MARKET. ALSO THERE WAS MUCH MOLD ON THE SHOWER TILES. THERE WAS NO BATH MAT FOR THE SHOWER AND IT WAS SLIPPERY. I FEARED I WOULD SLIP AND FALL BEFORE OUR TRIP WAS OVER. […] PLUSES, THERE WAS A REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM AND A MICROWAVE WHICH WAS NICE. DAY'S INN USED TO BE A NICE PLACE TO STAY. This hotel felt very dirty. Upon arriving in my room, I opened the door to a dingy odor filled room. You could smell aerosol air fresheners that the hotel had used to try and disguise the odor, but this only made it worse. Tv was older than myself and only about 8 channels would work. This hotel was the worst I've seen in a long time.

Pictures on the website are not true to date. The carpeting throughout the hotel (in halls and rooms) - disgusting. The kitchen/breakfast area -disgusting (counter tops, tables, window seals, glass, windows, decorations etc) food was not stocked, but I wouldn't have eaten anything in there. Furniture in lobby-disgusting. In our room: the window seal […] leaked water, dead bugs in it window, shower curtain didn't fit, therefore water ran onto the floor, bathtub and grout -disgusting, an outlet was torn and hanging out of the wall, tissue holder was rusted and hanging out of the wall, one of the beds was broken and squeaked terribly, sheets didn't fit the beds. When we arrived there were several people milling around the parking lot drinking beer. Front desk was professional, but not friendly. Hotel room had a dirty feeling to it. Mostly poor maintenance work- lots of touch up paint needed, stained grout in the showers, loose tiles, etc. The room was supposed to accommodate 5 people, but only had two double […] beds. The sheets did not fit the beds, they were too small and I found myself sleeping dirctly on the mattress at times during the night- not cool! Gross! As an end result, I did not sleep well at all. Lots of cigarette holes in the linens. The breakfast was fine, but the tables were dirty, and they have a lot of table, and could only find one clean one at 8:00am. Ledges and fixtures were dusty. Hotel is in easy to find location close to food shops but room are outdated and need some tlc/cleaning. The staff was very friendly overall it was good but I don't know if I would stay there again since I have kids and did not feel comfortable bathing them in bathroom and carpet was almost black my kids took there shoes off and withing in no time the […] were black. On three different occasions we were unable to get into our room with the cards we were given. Each time we had to go to the front desk and get new cards, which was very frustrating. We needed one night stay before getting on our cruise ship, our plane landed 12:30am and we just wanted to sleep. The hall ways were littered, the stairwell smelled of a mixture of urine and beer and I was glad to have my 6 foot 3 inch husband beside me to keep me safe. Our local cab driver, a wonderful retired salesman indicated that the locals are aware of the state of this hotel and they recommend other hotels in the same area. I don' know whether the questionable tattooed ladies traipsing around or the beer cans on the roofs of the cars and trucks in the parking lot out back impressed me the most. The unplugged lamps and burned out bulbs in the room provided a great addition to the constantly running toilet. The blue stain on the bath towell let me know that it was clean […] enough for someone to use it before me and hang it back up. The room service made a nice bed - the comforter was pulled tight enough to display the old cigarette burns in it. I knew I was in trouble when I called the hotel to help me with directions. I was lost, driving in circles and the front desk was curt and rude when I called for a 2nd time b/c I couldn't find the hotel. The hotel was filthy. First off, let me say the staff at the front was friendly. However the hotel smelled like smoke, the room was drenched in fabreeze and lysol, our sheets had stains on them. Breakfast in the hotel and close to the airport. Large clean rooms with coffee maker, micro and fridge. For ½ the price I use to pay for a night. I stayed four extra nights

The hotel was in good shape, especially considering the two-star rating. You're not going to get 4 or 5 star amenities, but for what I paid, I would be hard pressed to find a better room elsewhere.
