Red-rock mountains offset the downtown skyline. Many of the city’s events take place in Copper Square, including the Phoenix Convention Center, the US Airways Center, and Chase Field. I think that because the hotel was about to close for renovations the following week, the atmosphere was very laid back. The staff did not provide fresh wash cloths or extra towels. I swear it smelt like pot every afternoon when I would walk back to my room. My room was very clean and my bed was made. We slept well on the beds. But it would have been […] nice if I brought my own wash cloth! We stayed 4 nights and had a single washcloth for 1 night! When we asked for more, the staff informed us that they were all dirty. That was the second night. We never saw another one. The location was GREAT! we were right in front of a Light Rail stop. That made it very convenient coming from the air port! We were close enough to walk to the conference center. The little restaurant across the street was amazing and offered food made with local organic produce! I will be looking forward to see what will happen to the place once its renovated! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"The Lexington Hotel in Phoenix"
At checkin we let the desk know that our reservation had been mixed up among our group. They said their system showed the corrections that were needed. When I went to my room, there was garbage in the garbage can, towels on the bathroom floor and the bed was not made. The front desk was notified of the situation and gave me a new room. However, when […] they went to give me new keys they made a comment about how many nights I would be staying confirming that they did not have the corrections that were needed. My eyeglasses came up missing from my room after the first day of cleaning. The desk was notified but not very proactive in helping to resolve the issue. Upon my return from work that evening the information had not been passed on from the morning worker to the evening worker. I was told they would give the information to the manager and I would be contacted the following day. When I got back to my room, I looked once again under the nightstand (which I had completely moved the night before) and suprisingly enough my glasses were there! A bit suspicious if you ask me. I would not stay at the Lexington again and would definitely not recommend it to any of my friends or family. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Hotel Lexington - Phoenix"
Great location, within walking distance to downtown Phoenix. Light rail also available adjacent to the hotel. Complimentary continental breakfast was nothing to rave about only offering children's cereals for breakfast.
"The Lexington - Fancy Name, but not that fancy"
It's a decent hotel. the decor was just strange. The carpet was ripped out on the first floor. At first I thought they were in the middle of remodelling. But when i saw the same in the dining room, it seemed that they were going for a "grunge" flavor? Plus the dining room had chalk boards with random writing on it. I felt like I was in a rundown building. […] Perhaps it was some kind of ownership change and they're trying something "new"? It works as a hotel. But don't expect it to look nice. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"Lexington Hotel - Convenient Location"
After reading a lot of mixed, but mostly negative, reviews about the Lexington Hotel I wasn't sure what to expect upon our arrival. There were 3 of us total staying in the room and we stayed in a deluxe room with two queens. We were in town for 6 days/5 nights for a conference located at the convention center less than a mile from the hotel. While planning […] our trip, we came across this hotel and decided to book it because the price (at the time) was much cheaper than some of the recommended hotels for the conference. That being said, here are the good and bad experiences we had: Good: - Free wireless internet - Our peers were paying up to $13/day for the internet at their hotels. - Continental breakfast - pretty basic with little bowls of cereal, bagles, muffins, toash, english muffins, yogurt, some fruit, milk, juice, tea, coffe, etc. Nothing fancy, but better than expected after reading a lot of the other reviews. - Room size - With the 3 of us and all of our stuff, we had plenty of room to keep everything and not feel too crowded. Also, the couch was a pullout bed which we didn't know...not sure if I just missed it in the room description, but it was definitely nice to have. - Location - The location of this hotel is great if you need to get anywhere via the lightrail. It is literally right across the street from one of the lightrail stops. About 30 minutes to get to Tempe/ASU from where we were, but definitely an easy commute. - Service - No problems with service at all really. The front desk workers were dressed in pretty casual clothes, but it is not a 5 star hotel, so it was about what I expected. Bad: - Cleanliness - In terms of the room, no major complaints here. However, there were a few times where local aka homeless people were using some of the amenities. One of the people I was with happened to be near the pool when one woman jumped the fence and basically bathed in the hot tub fully dressed. Typically when I got into hot tubs, I can smell the chl อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Lexington-Not a professional hotel"
Avoid this hotel until they are done with renovations. Recently changed hands and the new owners should be ashamed of renting rooms in this place. I stayed here 6 nights in a row in March 2012. Location is the only good thing, 3 stops on the light rail and you're downtown/convention center. Great restaurant Portland's and good coffee shop/deli across […] street from hotel. Free breakfast is very sparse. The room carpet and furniture are badly outdated. Free wifi in room is spotty. They forgot my one wake up call and blamed it on the phone system. Got locked out after midnight as there was no staff around at all. No staff at check out at 9am, so I left my key and a note. Common areas are dirty and neglected. Not a professional hotel, more like a European hostel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Price is decent for what you get"
Hotel is located in a what seems to be a nice, artsy section of Phoenix. We were in town for a conference, and the hotel was about a 6 minute ride at most to the convention center, where the conference was being held. Breakfast in the morning was a nice, fairly standard continental breakfast. The front desk staff were great, despite all of our key issues, […] and one even got us a taxi ride out to see the NHL Coyotes for much less than standard fare. My only dissatisfaction would be the cleanliness of the room. I found some disconcerting white 'stuff' under a table near one of the bed. I asked to have it cleaned while I was out on the 2nd day, but the white 'stuff' was missed. When I told the desk it was still there, they sent someone up immediately to clean it, and he was able to remove it all quickly (and pointed out that it was hardened and possibly there for awhile). I also found a bra that did not belong to any of the three of us who had stayed in the room under one of the beds when we were getting ready to check out. Creepy. I noticed that even though we received fresh towels and the beds were at least made each day, that no tip envelope was left. Perhaps allowing the cleaning staff to leave one (or allowing tips to be added to the bill) would encourage better cleaning of rooms. Also, be sure to check out the Fair Trade Cafe, which is right next to the hotel. My colleagues said their coffee was far superior to the hotel coffee, and I loved sipping my italian soda while sitting in their courtyard and catching up with friends in the area. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Loud and old!"
They charge luxury prices for an old and loud hotel. They towels were paper thin, most plug ins didnt work, and the elevator sounded like a jackhammer running all night outside my room.
"Lexington Hotel Central Phoenix, great location"
A geat location, nice staff, awesome rest. Portlands right next door, close to a park, easy frwy acess.
"Pleasantly Surprised!"
This hotel is located near the ASU Campus and really easy access to the light rail. Walking distance from downtown. Great restaurants nearby with many local options.
"Right Place, Right Time"
Centrally located on Central near downtown Phoenix. Right on the light rail. Stop in front of the hotel. Perfectly placed for visits to Arizona Museum of Art and Phoenix Library. Two light rail stops from the Heard Museum, perfect for me on the weekend of the Indian Art Market at the museum. Hotel is quiet and clean. Rooms are spacious and the beds […] are comfortable. Limited view from my room on the third floor. Pictures on website show view from the eighth floor, the only one with balconies. Rooms could use some updating. WIFI is free but comes and goes. The housekeepers start early and if they can't into your room by 10:00 AM you must make special arrangements with the front desk. Despite recommendations the two closest restaurants I did not find worthwhile. A wine bar and an all natural cafe. I would certainly stay again for convenience of placement, price and comfort. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Lexington post Best Western"
I've previously stayed at the Lexington when it was a Best Western. No complaints either stays. The Front Desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful & even upgraded us to a Balcony Suite (we'd originally booked a deluxe suite). OK, so there was construction directly off the balcony but we stayed on a wknd so there was NO noise to disturb our sleep. […] It was just a nice gesture. Restaurant adjacent to lobby, but others within walking distance. We had 2 children under 12 who found the park next door, loads of fun. There was a Japanese koi pool where the kids fed the fish frenzy. They had an absolute blast partly due to the upgrade (big screen t.v. & jacuzzi). Personally, the only thing lacking was better quality & more pillows on the beds. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Star Rating"
This hotel is overated for star quality. If anything , it only deserves one and a half stars.
"Lexington central in phoenix,az"
Had no complimentary shuttle or restaurant per hotels.com website. In room clock didn't work and TV remote also not working. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, I would stay again if needed.

"Nightmare. Don't stay here"
As soon as we entered the lobby, we knew we had made a mistake. From the hoodie wearing receptionist to the torn up flooring, this was bad. Attempting to contact the hotel prior to our visit was also a joke, as they would pick up the phone and immediately hang up. Our room was nonsmoking, but apparently every other room wasn't as the stench of smoke […] filled our hotel room as we attempted to sleep. The walls are paper thin, hearing every single door on our floor slam shut, people talking, and even the A/C made a loud thud every time it turned off. After seeing all of this, I thought we could just go to sleep and forget this ever happened, buuuuuut, there was no linen on the fold-out sleeper sofa for our kids, the mattresses seemed to be the same ones I had in army basic training (about 6 inches thick), and sagging ridiculously, and the sounds and smells kept us up all night......Oh yeah, the free breakfast is a joke--a few cereal boxes and some open pitchers of juice...delicious! So much for trying to save a few bucks.....Pay the extra money and stay somewhere with a reputable name....Trust Me!! อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"downtown Phoenix"
Older hotel with some remodeling. Nice art in lobby/restaurant (eclectic bend). Room was average but clean. Unsure of safety of parking area-back door not working. Overall, above average rating.
"Downtown close, large room"
We were in town for a bicycle race that was downtown so the location was perfect, maybe a mile to the center of town. The room offered plenty of space for the 3 bikes and extra gear. Despite being near town and next to the Metro rail, the room was very quiet and the racers got a very good night sleep. Breakfast was simple but the atmosphere was nic […] e. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"nice hotel in good location"
The Lexington worked well for my recent trip to downtown Phoenix. It is very convenient and a nice stay overall. The room was large and well-kept, staff was friendly, and there were no problems with noise of any sort. The hidden treasure of this hotel, though, lies across the street at Portland's restaurant, which is worth a stop in its own right.

"better deals closer to all"
I am a frequent traveler to Phoenix and have to say that my stay at the Lexington Hotel was just average. I have found better prices at hotels that are walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel gym was under construction, and another guest said this has been going on for over a year. Why not just take it off your site? Parking lot […] is small and someone keyed my rental car. I won't stay there again because rates at other chain hotels are better and offer more conveniences. Still in all, in a jam, I guess it would be OK for an overnight traveler. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Lexington hotel Central Phoenix"
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was in disrepair. Restrooms our of order, ice machines out of order. The room itself was dated but it was clean. Don't think I would reccomend it to anyone.
"The hotel was close to where our event was."
The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. Reasonable room rates and very enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the near future. The Valteaus
"Location"
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The light rail stops right in front of the lexington. Riding the metro makes downtown so much easier and nicer to get around in. The hotel should really be called a motel. The rooms were old, dirty, and tiny. Our room we booked was a standard king. They gave us a room with 2 queen beds and didnt […] bother to mention this te to us at check in. The room looked old like it had never been vacuumed and there was a dirty razor in the shower. Our new room didnt have a mimi fridge or microwave which on the website states is in all rooms. Also there is no restautant or bar. Hotels.com needs to update this info on there website. The mattress was old and hard to sleep on and breakfast was a joke cereal and muffins. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"a little rough"
Price was good but hotel was still under renovation so a little rough. We recieved upgrade? to room on the 8th floor with queen size bed in stead of king that we reserved. I felt that the carpet was dirty the bathroom area was crouded for two peoples toiletries. The breakfast was a joke. continental? and the coffee was undrinkable. The ice machines […] were out of order on all floors. The doors to the parking lot were out only. linnen was clean and staf was polite. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Lexington hotel supply and demand"
Not worth the money at all. Half the price I paid would have been a fair price. Room was large but out dated and run down. Bed was hard and sagged waydown with a paper thin comforter. The water was scorching hot for some reason and the shower head was about to fall out of the wall. proximity to downtown its really the only thing going for it. Additionally […] hotels.com map was in inaccurate and my whole party had troubles finding the hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"great time in January"
Great place for the price and rooms where clean AND The water was HOT In the bath rooms..
"Not happy"
Bed was terrible. Not rested.
"ok for price"
clean but beds was to hard, couldn't sleep
"Good Value, Clean and Convenient"
Good value for someone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with easy access (across the street) to light rail system. Hotel has limited amenities (no restaurant or bar) so it is fine for someone who is not planning to lounge around for prolonged periods.
"My family had a great stay."
The staff was very helpful and my family was very satisfied with the room. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the Phoenix area.

"Good Hotel for a Great Price"
Had a perfect time at the hotel except for breakfast which was too cheap.
"Worth the time and money for location and activity"
My husband and I were comfortable. We had a 4 month old baby and they offered us a play pin and crib to sleep. The light rail easily access of the city. Take it from me you will not be disappointed when you stay here. Just a little cold at night even with heat on.
"Just a OK Hotel"
It's not a 4 star hotel but good enough for 1 night.
"UNhappy"
This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The fire alarm was hanging about eye level in the hallway of the floor we had a room on. There were no base boards on a couple of walls in our room. The furniture was warped, cracked and the windows hadn't been washed in years! The only plus about the hotel at all, was the location. The tram was […] right in front of the hotel, other than that the neighborhood was like on the Ghetto! อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Lexington Phx - Everything broken!"
I was in Phoenix for an interview, and needed my sleep. Unfortunately, that was very difficult. The A/C was broken - consistently - they moved me 3 times, all 4 rooms the A/C did not work, and I cannot sleep if I am too warm. Also, the 3rd room had a sliding glass door so I figured that I would just open the door to get some cool air, but then the sliding […] glass door broke too. I eventually moved to ANOTHER room where the door worked and asked for a fan, but the stay was pretty miserable. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"great location, good price, but ok at best"
picked this room for the location and the great deal on the executive suite. The suite is huge, but the decor/furniture is hella dated and the room (jacuzzi tub) wasn't clean to my lady's standards, so i had to clean it myself! sat on the old couch and "sank" in. old school "fat back" big screens. Pros: location; walking distance (or a short cab) from […] all that Phoenix downtown offers, train right across the street. Huge suite has comfy bed, private balcony, fridge/microwave. Free parking, small bar/restaurant on site, art gallery on 1st floor. Friendly staff. Cons: outdated, needs a good thorough cleaning, lots of TLC and a serious makeover. Id probably look for a deal elsewhere before staying here again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
