Went with my buddies and was impressed with everything. The pool is awesome, but there are families all over the pool. If I went for a family vacation or if I was older, I would stay here. But for a guys trip just out of college, other places will be more suitable.

Our vacation was very nice. One thing I would add is that Mandalay Bay advertises the experience to be a resort feel and not just a hotel. Therefore, we were expecting more things to be free for guests at the hotel including Shark Reef ($20 each), inner-tubes for the lazy river ($22 each), admission to ALL of the pools ($?), and other things like that. […] This was obviously very different from an all-inclusive experience we've had at resorts in Mexico in the past. Expect to pay a lot of money if you want to eat well and do more than lay by the wave pool (with small waves, might I add). The layout is confusing. If you upgrade me to HOTEL without asking me-- at least provide bellman to bring luggage across casino. Dragging 2 suitcases across casino was exhausting.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, great choices for places to eat and shop. The only complaint I have is the ventilation. I don't smoke and I HATE smoke, this hotel always seemed smoky ... I couldn't get away from it unless I went to my non smoking room.

Everything nice. Calm and courteous staff. My 6 year old daughter loved her visit to Las Vegas. Pool area was great. Shark reef was nice. Room was big and very clean. Bed was comfortable. All was great.

In addition to the one night booked through Hotels.com, I stayed at this hotel 7 addtional days in mix of business and pleasure mostly paid for by my employer as a result of a conference I attended held at this hotel. This hotel is less than a mile from the airport and though it is convenient for travel, forget about trying to sleep unless jet noise […] doesn't bother you. There is a period between 2:00am and 3:00 am that no commercial planes, private planes, and helicopters fly. Each morning I asked the front desk if I could be moved to a pool side room which is on the other side of the hotel and each time I was told there were no rooms available. SO in 8 days total they couldn't find one poolside room to move me to? Give me a break! I would not pay my money to stay at this hotel and will advise my employer to look for alternatives in the future. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Only the bellhops knew the importance of good customer service. The people at the front desk were generally accommodating, but the rest of the staff- particularly in the bars and restaurants were generally rude.

I took my family to Mandalay because of the sandy beach pool that is unique. Unfortunately besides this, the services have deteriorated quite a bit. Beds were not made up, towels not replaced. Food was mediocre at best . Try their Japanese restaurant dinner and despite the expensive costs, the quality of sushi mimics ones that you get from the grocery […] store ! Everything is expensive. Starbux regular coffee is double almost $4 for large cup! This is a young crowds hotel with party goers because of the beach. Nice large and comfortable private room with spectacular view. Access to high speed internet a plus. I particularly enjoyed the beach and pool areas and fitness areas. The buffet was good but not delightful as some others I have experienced. Great shops and bars on the mezannine level. It was great. The hotel is very large and a bit confusing to navigate but had great stores/cafes/bars etc. The pools were incredible especially the lazy river/wave pool...the waitstaff walking around were slow though. Much faster service at the bar. They also need new towels/ beach chairs as they looked older and ratty. Hotel Staff were friendly and […] accomodating. Our bathroom was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for 3 girls to get changed/put on makeup. Beds were comfy. Trash wasn't emptied though from the last people who were there which was odd. And the lighting in the hallway where the mirror was was dim - couldn't see a thing! The view across the street was the airport which made it really easy to get to after flying in :) We did have to take cabs to get further down the strip. Other than the the front desk (check-in and check-out) we were surprised at the culture of indifference in the restaurants and bars. Even the housekeepers were not particularly accommodating. As one example, when we asked if our party of 12 could sit together at breakfast buffet we were told "no" by the hostess even though there were two sections not […] being used. In a very rude manner she told us they simply weren't going to open them. We were not looking for any compensation but thought that the manager would want to know. However, when we called her later, even she never offered any sort of apology. Her reply- "what do you want me to do about it?" The bartenders were even worse- almost all acting as if you were bothering them when you attempted to get service. Overall stay was ok, but had some initial issues including dirty bed sheets and air conditioning problems. Early disappointments but issues were quickly addressed and we enjoyed the rest of the stay.

Overall this is an excellent hotel. However, I was disappointed in the check-in process as the line was terribly long due to the hotel not providing enough staff during busy check-in hours. The wait to check in to the hotel was a bit excessive.

Overall the stay was fantastic! Great property with a great pool. However, the line at check in was crazy long. I was surprised that this expensive of a hotel would have such slow service when it came to checking in. It seems to me that the hotel should plan ahead and have more staff available during busy check in hours.
