The walkway bridge into the hotel from parking lot had a strong smell of urine. There was a loud party in room next door, we asked to move quite early and they said no other rooms with ocean view available that night for ONE night. Hard to believe in middle of the week. Should have asked for a manager. Lost a lot of money in casino at tables and not […] ONCE did anyone come to our tables for drinks. Everyone around me commented, even verbally, and mgt. did nothing about it. Only saw ONE, yes ONE waitress in 2 hours. This place is decrepit...very sad...a shell of its former glory. It should be demolished. The hotel was built in 1984 and nothing has seemed to change. The only redeeming value was the ocean view waking up and the fact it is right on the boardwalk near all the shops. I was totally grossed out otherwise and will NEVER go back. Stay was ok, had a room for 5, expected a cot, did not get one, would have to pay extra. Mattresses were soft. House keeping was great.

DON"T charge for Wi-Fi period. If guest bring laptops, should offer service for free. Most hotels offer this service for free. Don't nickel and dime guest, it's a turn-off for business. We had a great time. The Trump is an older casino, but the location was great. On the boardwalk, next to several casinos, and food. The room was nice size and clean. Couldn't of asked for setting more.

We were a little disappointed in the condition of the hotel. I know it is an older hotel but tiles and the fixtures in the bathroom were worn out. We found hair on the floor as well and there was no vent fan. The size of the room was very adequate.

I love where the hotel is located, but I'm not too impressed with the hotel itself. The room had a weird smell, and there wasn't really any staff around when I needed help. This is an okay place to go if you don't plan to be in the room much at all.

The hotel is 1 min walk to boardwalk n very close to outlets which were great pluses for us!! We were checked in without any trouble, room service came in daily to clean the room. Very run down, not clean, hallways and rooms stink of a mixture of smoke and mildew. If I hadn't only paid $110 per night for Friday and Saturday nights I would have demanded a refund. Great location however, if you can overlook the above and don't overpay.

Bathroom was very grimy... Tub was stained and floors were not well cleaned. Decor was quite out of date. Hotel needs a revamping. The slots are outdated and the casino floor is dark and dreary. We stayed on a Friday night and could not believe how bored we were. Pay the extra money to stay at the Borgota. It is well worth it.

we stayed 2 nights in April and enjoyed our experience. We went to Atlantic City NJ to see Furthur at The Boardwalk Hall. This hotel was right next door and we have stayed there several times before. Looks like everything has been cleaned up since Superstorm Sandy hit the NJ shore in October 2012

While the hotel appears to be beautiful, its really a dump. Our room was just dirty. Dust everywhere, mold in the shower, the window overlooking the ocean was so filthy you couldn't tell if the sun was shining The room had not been vacuumed when we checked in, nor was it vacuumed during our 4 night stay. We instantly upgraded right away. The room was awesome. The check-in service want what I expectedfrom the TRUMP name. But overall it was a good experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Trump Plaza last year and it was not bad at all. This year it was terrible. The room was hotter than a sauna. The ceiling tiles throughout the building were dirty and deplorable. The fire department was doing something with the fire hydrants. Now I understand why the prices for the other casino/hotels were higher. If I would have known earlier than I would I off booked somewhere else. Don't waste your money on this place, there is no need to. I choose it cause I was there last time and that I was on a budget. If you are not on a budget. Upon arrival - after 4 pm on Sat., 4/27 - room was not available. Front desk helped to expedite readiness. Rugs - filthy. Windows - filthy. Not at all satisfied with hotel accomodations nor your service, which I will never use again.

When I booked my room for close to three hundred dollars I was expecting a beautiful, luxurious room and the best service. What I got was the worst service by surly, badly-trained, burnt-out employees; terrible food that was barely even warm; very uneven cooling and old, dirty, dingy linens and bathroom. Great location but it is an old hotel not really up to date. Went looking for ice and after looking on 5 floors with broken machines, called housekeeping who said they couldn’t help but thought there was a working machine on 8th floor. Our floor was non smoking but smelled of Marijuanna. Wouldn’t go back soon

I had an excellent time during my stay. They moved us to an oceanview room, and the staff was very knowledgeable! We ate at an amazing restaurant in the hotel called EVO. DELICIOUS!! The only thing was that the room was a bit under standards to some of the top hotels on the strip. I did expect more from the TRUMP. I was disappointed that the pool was closed during the week as well as the fitness centre. Also, there was no ironing board in my room initially (that was taken care of by house keeping). Also internet is not included and costs an extra $12.95 a day per device. When you think Trump you think luxury. Far from it here.

When you think "Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino" you think the very best and 5 star. This is far from this hotel. The check-in experience was far from personable. In and out, service without a smile. The room was very outdated, the rug was stained and had gum stuck in it, the vent to the room looked like it was torn apart, and there was hair and "little […] curly" hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The view was beautiful. At one point, ten years ago, it was an up to date 5 star resort, but at this point in time, it is in need of a big facelift. It claims to be the center of the boardwalk, however, nothing was going on in the hotel, casino, or clubs there on a Friday night. The casino was nice, but empty and no cashier windows open in site. Hotel is rundown. Rooms were ugly beds were uncomfortable. The shower was horrible it lacked pressure. If I were offered a complimentary night I would turn it down. With a name like Trump I expected a lot more. You're fired!

This hotel was by far the worst experience. The girls and I went to 24 Cafe for breakfast early Saturday morning. All my sister ordered was coffee, after drinking almost all of it, at the bottom of the cup was a roach. YES, a roach! We called the manager over and she apologized and said " we've been having a problem with those little critters"....... […] To make a long story short, we filed a complaint but nothing was done.
