I love this hotel and always stay here when I have business in Bangkok. The service, food, room, internet, beds, pillows... they all rate a 5. The location is good, close to some great street shopping and mall... Just in case you have time.

Friendly and helpful staff made this a very pleasant stopover for three nights. Only downside was we had emailed the hotel twice to book a car from the airport and had no response so we ended up getting a taxi. Their web page only seemed to tell us which rooms were available. This hotel is going down the hill rapidly. Rooms (and bathroom) are dirty, carpet in rooms is disgusting (if you're allergic, don't even think about it) and the hotel in general is a bit worn out. The area is ok during the day, but at night it is surrounded by prostitutes, ladyboys and drugdealers. The hotel turns a blind eye on a few customers that […] hire prostitutes or escorts and bring them into the hotel. It's common to see public demonstration of "affection" in halls and elevators. Customer service is a joke - i bought a day tour at the hotel and, even though they charged me, the tour never happened. The Manager in Duty told me the hotel was not liable and that they "just rent the space for the agency who sells the tours". My check in only happened around 4 PM, even though i arrived there at 1:55 PM (check in is at 2PM). I was told they were having a "little" problem with the cleaning. They gave me a beer and told me to wait at the bar area. Never got back to me saying the room was ready... If you want to stay at the Sukhumvit area, try another hotel. First of all, the reception staff were really helpful and polite. The rooms were tidy. The beds and the pillows were really comfortable. BTS Nana station is just a block away, very convenient indeed. I would stay in this hotel again, if I ever visit Bangkok....

Excellent. The staff are very friendly , helpful and always have a smile on their face. There is a metro closeby though however at night there are several mobile bars in the narrow street by the hotel .

Staff was hard working and always willing to please... Restaurants in the hotel were great and food choices were also plentiful and well chosen. Tour info and How-to-use the Skytrain info with a city map might have been helpful. We enjoyed the whole Bangkok experience.

Bed very comfortable, but construction going on in the hotel so lots of noise after 8am, could not sleep after that, way too noisy! Biggest complaint was there was no WIFI in the rooms unless you paid extra for it! Got 1hour free in the lobby, a pain if you are trying to use Skype .!! We have visited Bangkok before but this was our first time at the Landmark Hotel and we were impressed. It is ideally situated on Sukhumvit Road, close to Nana station for the Skytrain. Every staff member was most helpfull, polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were in contact with the hotel directly before travelling and decided to purchase […] a Club Landmark card that offered many concessions and worthwhile discount at food outlets in the hotel. We chose to celebrate New Year in the RR&B restaurant on the 31st Floor. We were however slightly disappointed that although we selected the 5-course set menu at approx £140/head (food only) £200/head after cocktails, water and one bottle of wine, an additional cost of £20/glass was suggested for a small glass of "bubbly" to see in the New Year. still a top hotel but a little bit worn.could do with a bit of a facelift.had a delux room on the 23rd floor which was a bit small for the amount being charged.a lot of other hotels in the area would have given at least a suite for the the same price.difficult to criticise too much as it is still a very good place to stay with an xcellent location.

Getting around has always been a problem in Bangkok but the position of the Landmark is great for night life, restaurants, shops and the rail and the hotel has great option for food and the facilities are good.

The Landmark is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. The Nana Monorail station is just a 2 minute, literally, walk from the hotel and a day ticket costing 103 Baht (approx £ 2.50) allows you to explore virtually all Bangkok in comfort and comfort. The hotel itself is magnificent, from the air-conditioned foyer to the always polite staff who are […] only too happy to help whatever your query. The bars are cool, a welcome haven from the heat of the city and the beer cold with attentive staff. The beds are enormous and so soft you feel yourself sinking in to them, there is a 32" TV should you want to take a break from exploring and the views from the windows are panoramic and very exciting should you be there during a thunderstorm !! I have stayed at the Landmark over 10 times and am already looking forward to my next stay. I enjoyed my stay. I loved that I was only 50 metres from the Sky Train. The staff seemed so accommodating and seemed to watch out for me as I was alone for a good part of my stay. The room was extremely small for what is available at comparable hotels and price in BKK .these rooms have no bath, and are not user friendly for the male that needs to shave it has no shaving mirror. I have been staying at the Landmark for over 30 years. I find it a convenient central location.The buffet breakfast is expensive but extremely good. The hotel is well maintained( my only bad experience in this regard was in the 1980s when I was trapped in a lift and they took a long time to rescue us) The quality of the shops in the basement has declined.For […] example there was a very good tailor, Jass Fashions located there who has since moved. He maintained records of all his customers . The hotel should take a leaf out of their book and maintain records so that they had guest histories and know their likes and dislikes.
