What I can say is a suspect of cheating for this hotel. I you take a look at the hotel photo, the building number is 28. Yet, the entrance is at the building besides it (number 26) and no. 28 does not belong to any part of the hotel! If you think your room is just up there at the building named Metropole, wow, ironic, your room is actually in a tiny […] shorter building at the right which is totally not in a good shape. The hotel is plain, the lobby is less than plain, the bathroom stunk like mildew terribly and of course (like just about every hotel in this country) the internet cost money. Very nice and clean, good services, I think the televisions needs on upgrade for larger, flat types and need more variety of programs for children, and also more news. It's a budget hotel, the place or the room are not great, just for the night rest after of day of city walking, but is well situated (pro) and the breakfast buffet is ok

We walked in and the girl at the front dest was drinking a glass of wine and smoking. She really could care less if she were working or not. Uoin check in, she told us that we had two reservations, which is incorrect, and was not to be bothered about the situation and told us that we had to take care of it ourselves. Now, up to our room. The best word […] to describe the room would be awful! It was dirty, the bed was rock hard and the bathroom looked like a scene from a 70's movie. It too was dirty with crud in the shower...we refused to use the shower. I would not stay here for free!! STAY AWAY. The best part is the neighborhood. Many shops and restaurants to choose from. Hôtel bien situé au centre ville, par contre durant la nuit des bruits de la voirie ou de camions venant décharger des marchandises empêchent de dormir en toute tranquillité. Le poste TV est digne du siècle dernier et fait donc partie bientôt des antiquités.

Habe mich beschwert über das Kopfkissen, hätte eigentlich schon lange entsorgt werden sollen! Habe es Morgen an der Reception gesagt, doch die Dame ist nicht darauf eingegangen!? Wer einigermaßen günstig direkt in der Stadt und nur ein paar Schritte vom Bahnhof übernachten möchte, der ist mit diesem Hotel gut beraten.

Das Hotel ist an sehr guter Lage mitten im Zentrum von Bern. Parkieren kann man für CHF 15.- von 17.00 -09.00 im Parkhaus gleich um die Ecke (Achtung: Bitte Ticket an der Reception abstempeln lassen!) Der Service ist gut und auch das Frühstück war ausgewogen. Das Zimmer ist sicher seit 1960 nicht mehr renoviert worden. Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Standard jedoch immer noch vor Flachbildfernsehen.

Simple et fonctionnel, sans cachet mais bien situé. Bon buffet de petit déjeuner

Das Bad/WC war so klein, dass man immer wieder anschlägt, es war auch nicht so sauber und beim Warmwasser lief fast nichts.

Das Hotel ist einfach, doch sehr sauber. Die Leute sehr freundlich. Wer einfach preiswert und mitten in der City übernachten will und auch bei Lärm schlafen kann, ist hier richtig.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Berner Altstadt. Einfach, sauber, gut für eine Übernachtung. Gewisse Dienstleistungen können beim Partnerhotel Kreuz gegenüber in Anspruch genommen werden.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Hotel zum empfehlen, wenn nur für eine Nacht eine Unterkunft zu suchen ist. Einfach, aber sauber.

Das Hotel liegt in Fußgängerentfernung aller Sehenswürdigkeiten der Berner Altstadt und kann auch zu Fuß vom Bahnhof erreicht werden. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich.

Exzellente Lage, aber ab 5.00 h morgens extrem laut durch Anliefer-Verkehr von umliegenden Geschäften.

Hotel na výborné pozici. Pro návštěvu z pracovního důvodu výborná volba. Chyběla mi zde možnost PC přímo v budově.

The hotel is located in the historic centre of the city, close to all the sights, underground parking just few steps from the hotel. Rooms small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and equal 4 stars.

部屋は清潔で快適でした。 ホテルの玄関は夜になると手動ドアになり持っているキーで開けることになりますが、コツがあるのでそれに気付かないと入れなくなります。私は何度試してもドアが開かないのでかなり迷いました。他の旅行者も玄関前で入れずに苦労している人がいました。 朝食はブッフェで普通の感じでした。 場所は駅近で静かな所でした。
