Overall this hotel is quite good. Even tough it's not in the heart of the city but it has shuttle bus going to Myeongdong. But one thing that makes me and my sister very disappointed was one of the receptionist lady. She is very rude to us when we are asking for a request. About what I expected. I picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool and hot tub. They were both great. The hotel is located on a hill and has really nice views. It would be nice if internet was included in the hotel fee.

The hotel was nice but the location was average. It was not noisy but only a few convenient stores and a few local restaurants nearby. The hotel does have a shuttle that takes you around with sporatic departures daily. The good thing was there's a KAL airport shuttle that stops directly at the hotel.

i made a booking from July 25-28, 2011. Then I extended my stay as my children loved the stay longer. There are many things to write about this hotel. The Bell caption personal are so so polite and really helpful, they handled everything that I could possibly ask for. Door man, operator, housekeeping, room service and people who work in the restaurants they do care for little details. They do their good jobs and really helpful. More over the majority of them, they speak good English. Well done. I give you 99 out of a 100. I would like to say thank you to all staffs. You guys have service mind and well trained. There are some other things, I quite dislike about the hotel which are...the bed sheets, duvet and all the linen are quite old, but somehow, it smelled nice and cleaned. The bathtub is quite old. The wifi in the room is a bit expensive. nowadays, even the cheap hotel or, B & B or everywhere else they have the wifi service for free of charge. this is the new world. The room is big and very clean. The decor is great and everything looks new. The service is excellent. But it seems like majority of the rooms are with a king or queen size bed. Definitely a good recommendation to others going to Seoul for holidays.

The hotel is welcoming, the service is more than satisfactory and the level of service of the staff is superb! This hotel had every amenity we wanted and was most pleasant and comfortable. Easy access to all areas of city from the hotel. Nice stay - Nice Hotel

Wtih their welling service mind, and hospitality is very impressed us. for 4 nights, actually we have to check in-after 2 PM, but our flight arrived there in the morning with 2 childs and very tired of travel. fortunately they have room available so can offered us to check in before 2 PM .

We moved to this hotel after a TERRIBLE experience at the Hamilton Hotel (more to come on that one) Its rather ok, rooms are normal but a few things bugged me: 1) pricey 2) Location not great for sightseeing or shopping 3) lobby coffee shop was SUPER pricey 4) normal hotel for a rather high price On the Upside the view of Seoul Tower is nice!

Lovely and spacious room. There is even a Nespresso machine in the room so we could enjoy freshly brewed coffee. Room is also very soundproof as we were not disturbed by any noise at all. The hotel was really high end and the room had many features deluxe including American type plugs for power. The room service was quick and the room was very clean. My only complaint was that the king sized bed was really two twin beds pushed together so it was a little uncomfortable in the middle. I would stay there again and would recommend it. For last 5 years of my trip to Seoul, Grand Ambassador has been my favorite when my schedule required me to stay in Kang Buk area. I like the service, location, and value GA offers.

Great value for money, good size comfortable, clean room with nice bathroom facilities and the staff are lovely. I frequently stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Seoul on business or pleasure.

Very convenient location - 5 minute walk to subway. Within walking distance to Dongdaemun shopping area. Hotel provides free shuttle bus to Myeongdong.

As of mid-2010, this hotel is decent value for the money. It could use a makeover, and when I was there, there was construction on the "Executive" floors, so maybe they're starting from the top down. This is a very nice hotel to stay in Seoul However cost of food and beverage is extremely expensive and not justified. I bought a Cappuccino 14,000 w which is A$ more then $14 I could get 4.5 cappuccinos in the best hotel in Sydney. my wife ordered a Tea=14.000 W ,she love's her tea strong so she asked for anther bag of tea to be put in the pot +4000w […] so a cup of tea cost A$18 ! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

While it isn't the most luxurious place to stay in the city, it is a great option. The hotel itself is without flaw--comfortable and updated rooms, courteous and helpful staff, and well-priced. More importantly, it is very convenient located for tourists and likely many business travelers. You won't regret staying here.

The highlight was a gracious, helpful staff; the room price was fair; we appreciated the quiet room that we requested; the included breakfast options good, but tv in the concierge lounge was unpleasant. Decent health club, but crowded with outsiders.

The hotel took extraordinary steps to accommodate us when my spouse got sick and had to be hospitalized. Their courtesy and service was outstanding. Location is excellent. We're glad we didn't book a downtown hotel. There are at least 3 convenience stores nearby, the Dongguk University subway station is 2 minutes away, and down the street from the […] university is a strip with many restaurants frequented by students/lunch crowd. Very stingily to charge the guests for Internet usage. Internet included in the room charge is standard now days but not in this hotel. Otherwise a nice hotel.

The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful and in spite of some language barriers (we don't speak Korean, more's the pity) they gave us all the information we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler.

今回3度目ですが、前回より親切になった気がしました。 残念なのが、バスの表面が一部めくれていて入浴する気がしませんでした。

大変綺麗でよかったです。 日本語の対応もできてます。 乾燥してるからできれば除湿機あればいいけどまぁ仕方ないです。

가본 호텔 중 젤 만족도가 높네요. 업그레이드도 해주시고. 정말 대만족입니다.

アップグレードで、エグゼクティブルームに宿泊できました。　ロクシタンの石鹸がおいてあるなど、ちょっとしたところの心配りが、うれしいです。　現在韓国のＴＶドラマが舞台となっているようで、韓国の人たちにも有名なホテルでした。　明洞にも近い距離ですが、ソウル市内は渋滞も多く、タクシーは南山トンネル経由で、時間がかかりました。

雖然是舊飯店了 但整體感覺不錯 以市區來說房間不小 簡單整潔舒適 各單位的服務人員都很親切 飯店提供到明洞及東大門的免費來回專車 對累了一天大包小包的旅客來說非常便利 可多加利用 離地鐵三號橘線（東國大學站）約五分鐘路程 途中有多家便利商店 由於在大學區 附近環境清幽 治安很好

最終便の飛行機で、午後１１時頃、ホテルに到着した。 葉巻のような臭い（アロマ？）が、泊った階では、気になった。臭いについては、各々、好みがあるので、これはもう少し考えていただきたいと思った。臭いが強すぎ・・・ 3名の予約だったので、エキストラベットがあるものだと思っていた。追加料金を払うので、エキストラベットをお願いしたが、ベットのあきがないと言われた。 ドライアーがこわれていた。電話して届くまで、１５分もかかった。結局、疲れて到着したのに、さらに諸々、上記のような問題が生じ、やすまらなかった。 一流ホテルと思っていたが、がっかりした。

　地下鉄東大入口駅にほど近い立地は便利。周囲に店が少ない。送迎バスあり。 　エグゼクティブフロアに宿泊すると、フィットネスとラウンジが使えるのは他の高級ホテルと同じ。レセプションの女性はお店の場所を探してくれたり親切でした。エグゼプティブ朝食ブッフェは充実しているが、パンの味とおかずがいまひとつ。食べ終わってないのにどんどんお皿をさげようとするのは、韓国の習慣？フィットネスは、きれいでプールはすいている。ゴルフの打ちっぱなしが朝６時からできる。クラブとシューズは借りられボールだけ買う。スパは何故かバスタオルがなく、風呂用とフェースタオルのみ。シャンプーだけでコンディショナーは置いてない。あかすりは日曜日お休み。ガイドブックに書いてあるとおり、110Ｖの変圧器は借りられたが、携帯の充電はＯＫで […] も、くるくるドライヤーは壊れてしまったので、やはり海外旅行用を持って行くのをおすすめします。部屋でネスプレッソ２杯までと水２本が毎日サービスで助かりました。 　 อ่านเพิ่มเติม

３日間の滞在でバスタブを利用しましたが、残念ながら、バスタブ内部が清掃されていませんでした。苦情を言おうと思って忘れてしまいましたが。そこは大不満です。ネスプレッソの不具合はフロントに言ったところ、すぐに直してくれて、確認の電話までいただきました。 朝食もフレッシュジュースをそこで搾ってくれたりとか、野菜もふんだんにあって、食事制限のある私にはとても助かりました。 全体的にはとても満足で、明洞、仁寺洞へのシャトルバスもあるし、鉄道を使って空港を利用するにも、KALリムジンの始発駅でもあるので、交通も便利。その割りにリーズナブルな気がします。

Nice room; Good english speaking staff; Airport Limousine direct arrival. The location is a bit far from MTR station especially after shopping. We usually make use of the hotel shuttle bus and taxi. The hotel is walkable from Dong-Dae-Moon shopping arcades. This is important to us because we don’t want to taxi after mid-night shopping (People said may […] cost horrible taxi fee or taxi driver may refuse that short journey). It takes about 15min and the hotel actually located on a little hill top, we have to climb up to go back to hotel. どこも予約が取れず初めて利用しました。ロビーや部屋はとても清潔できれいでした。部屋のドライヤーやコンセントが壊れていたのですが、いちいち対応がすばやく心配りされた気持ちのよいものでした。日本語がどのスタッフにも通じるので、年配の方でも安心して泊まれるのではないでしょうか。立地はどこへ行くにも便利です。シャトルバスもたくさん出ているので利用しました。地下鉄の駅からは５分もかからないし、周りの雰囲気も良いところです。コンビニはありましたが、朝食を取れるようなカフェがないので残念でした。朝のバスでミョンドンへ出て食べました。また泊まりたいです。

ホテルから 明洞に行く無料シャットルバスが一時間毎に有りとても重宝です。いつも行きはこのバスを利用して復路はタクシーで帰館してました。また朝の朝食バイキングにSteak、Fresh Orange juiceがあるのが大満足です。 私はソウルに観光に行く時はいつもこのホテルを利用しています。

高速バスターミナルからタクシーに乗りましたが、乗ったタクシーの運転手が知らなかったうえに、一緒に来た友人たちのタクシーは違うアンバサダーホテルに連れて行かれ苦労しました。立派なホテルなのに知名度はイマイチなのが気になりました。なぜアンバサダーホテルがいくつもあるのか不思議です。 その他は一流ホテルにふさわしいものでした。

2回目の利用で今回ホテルコムで予約しました。ホテルでは日本語もよく通じるし満足できるホテルです。 　これはホテルのせいではないが、タクシーの利用で別のアンバサダー（イビス明洞アンバサダーホテル）に連れて行かれ、時間と乗車料金を倍近く払う羽目になった。ホテルの知名度がないのか、運転手の知識がなかったのかどっちだろう。 　安い部屋を予約したからだそうだが、ネットのLAN利用料金が1時間5500Wは少々高いかな？

朝食つきのお得なプランがあったので選びました。 他の方のレビューにあるようにインターネット利用料が高いのが気になりましたが、チェックインの際、デラックスフロアにアップグレードしていただき、無料でつなげたのはラッキーでした。 部屋はところどころ埃が目につきましたが、概ね快適。朝食は可もなく不可もなく。明洞へのシャトルバスは混む時間帯は早く行かないと乗れないことがあるかもしれません。

ホテルの必要なサービスは全部そろっています。もちろん、人それぞれだとは思いますが、高齢の母のお供の宿舎としては十分でした。 それから、新羅ＤＦＳに近いのも良かったです。

地下鉄の駅まで歩いて５分ですが、帰りは心臓破りの急な上り坂があり、大変でした。 地下鉄も明洞までは乗り換えが必要で、結局タクシーばかり利用しました。 コンビニは近くに３店舗あるし、シーラホテルの免税品店は徒歩で行けます。 繁華街から離れていますが、とても快適なホテルです。 部屋も広く、見晴らしもよいし、清潔です。ネスプレッソコーヒーが無料で飲めるのもよかったです。 ただ、一点だけ難をいえば、便器の横にホコリがたまっていて、汚いことが不快でした。 その他は、とても満足だったので、また利用したいです。
