Good, the renovation will be an improvement but the bed was HARD. service great and we were upgraded and remembered by the front desk staff. Nice touch.

This place was not as nice as the pictures make it loom but it was pretty good. I would only say that the only thing I didn't like was that the bedding was pretty lame.

For $90.00 dollar a night in USD was ok. If you have a car, the Valet is $27.00 USD dollars for a 24 hour period. If you rather stay at a better hotel and pay the equivalent is better. We had a great time. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and only a block from the beach. Everything else is in walking distance. We're planning to stay there again.

I wasn't expecting much, but they need more comfortable beds. could be better, but over all a good hotel. Would return if the price is reasonable.

The location of the Hotel could not have been any better! But for the space inside for a room of 5, next time if I want to splurge over $$$ a night I will stay in a bigger room/hotel like the Metropole!

Cramped room and shower, but clean and fantastic location close to the beach! Also close to the nightlife, but not too loud to sleep at night. Friendly staff.

The hotel was reasonable for the price in Miami, clean and with friendly staff and a pretty good location. There are some cute perks like a free glass of wine between 5-6 pm, free breakfast, and an adjoining hookah bar! Hotel was CLEAN and smelled clean. Centrally located to everything I needed in South Beach. Left the car in valet and was able to walk to everything.

The staff were wonderful and the king sized bed and room were perfect for my husband and i. The downsides were the elevator only held three people, the continental breakfast included was heavy on the bread side, offering only yogurt for protein and signs on everything stating "1 person". No chair in room. Bathroom configuration unsafe and inconvenient. Breakfast items are all sugar and convenience store pastries. Needed: fresh fruit (its Florida!), unsweetened yogurt, unsweetened oatmeal, and fresh bread. Breakfast need not be unhealthy. The coffee was undrinkable -- no excuse.

The staff were very professional and made up for any downfall of the hotel. The room was very clean and proper. The common areas need so attention however.

Really didn't expect the quality to be what it was. The continental breakfast was not good. Rugs were cleaned and hanging in the cute courtyard on the railings. It just wasn't what I would think of as nice.

The hotel should be rated 1.5 and 2 star maximum. The laminated flooring was scratched and discoloured in several area and evidence of lifting in some area. The bathroom sink is small and situated too low, you had to be careful not to bang your head on the vanity cabinet when brushing your teeth or washing your face. The TV is 15-20 yrs old. The best part of the hotel was the lobby, front and back patios. I would not recommended this hotel to my friends or stay there again. If I was staying in a 1 to 2 star hotel I could understand the condition but not a hotel that is rated 3 star. For the price we paid for a night the hotel was good. We only slept in the hotel at night and during the day we were out exploring. Loved the location Right on Ocean Ave. around all the shops and beach. Overall if you looking for a hotel for a night or two this hotel for the price is worth it.

The hotel is very dated. The rooms are small, and there are very few amenities. The location is perfect, however, if you want to be in the middle of the action at south beach.
