Albergo Terminus Hotel - โคโม

Very stylish, well situated boutique hotel in the Liberty style overlooking lake Como and in the centre of the historic district. The rooms are comfortable even if some are a bit on the small side. Restaurant is excellent but a booking is required.

This is the sweetest little hotel - located just off the steps as you arrive on the Como Ferry. You enter a small courtyard and the hotel is a small B&B type accommodation. The proprietor was just lovely. Our room was on the top floor that felt like we had our own little attic apartment. And Bellagio is the simply one of the most lovely places on earth. […] . . . Was given a back room, which was very quiet and comfortable, Loved the liberty fabric lined walls. The bed was a bit tired, and the room is warm and comfortable. Great location could not fault it, and for a couple looking for a lovely weekend it was perfect, even a fridge in the room to put in a bottle of champagne. perfect location right across the street from the lake and the ferry, nice hotel and they have a great restaurant, it is upscale and resonably priced. They served me a martini up, it must have been at least 3 ounces, cost 8 euros, then they bring you olives, nuts and potatoe chips for free with your drink. The food was excellent too, they were nice […] too, that is not the norm for europe. Great hotel and location just a stone's throw from the station ao very east to get to Malpensa airport via train for about 20 euros compared to the 120 euros most taxi drivers wanted to charge.

Beautiful hotel right next to the train terminal. Perfect place to stay when taking the train from the airport. Ferry located directly in front of the hotel.

The hotel was nicely decorated and the room was very comfortable. The single room was small but had a view of the lake, which was lovely. Everything was just as it should have been at the Albergo Terminus. It was well located just across the road from Lake Como. It had old world charm with all the luxuries of a modern lake resort property.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Como itself is much more interesting than I had imagined. This hotel is such a convent base to use for day trips to other sites

What a wonderful location looking out over the lake! The hotel's history, design, and upkeep make it especially charming. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Oh, and breakfast is wonderful--the bar and restaurant are charming as well.

If you are visiting Lake Como and want to stay in the little city of Como itself, the Albergo Terminus is the perfect spot. Although not inexpensive, it is right next door to the more expensive "Palace" and is within EASY walking distance to the train station and very important Ferry terminal. Lovely spot. We had a lovely stay, but only after dealing with a bipolar experience. The front desk people were either truly lovely (2 of them) or grumpy and unhelopful (2 others). We had a grumpy one when we first checked in. She sent us to the wrong room (we reserved one of the new, good rooms, at extra cost, and were sent instead to one of the old, smelly ones). […] She did agree that we could move to the room we had paid extra for, but was very ungracious and unapologetic about it. We booked a double-room and they gave us a single room. When we told them, after seeing the room, that it was a single room, they tried to convience us it was a double "French" room. We complained for a while and then they told us the hotel was sold out and there was nothing they could do. Finally, I saw a list of hotel room by the reception which by […] law they have to hang - that list showed that our room was indeed a single room. At this point, they had no more excuses and I forced them to find us a proper double room in the hotel next door since they were sold out. The location of this hotel is fantastic -- right on the lake front and bang in the middle of all shopping etc. Room was clean and everything worked -- breakfast was expensive, but plenty of other options close by. Highly recommended.

The public area and location of the hotel was ideal. Our room was small and the bathroom had mold in the shower and the rug needs to be replaced. The breakfast was average more like a two star hotel in quality.

Spent 4 days at this incredibly beautiful hotel in Como (at Lake Como, Italy)in Oct. 2009. We heard it was nice.....but "nice" hardly describes its beauty and style. It was well beyond expectation. We spent a month driving through Europe. Stayed in some great hotels, some lousy ones. This was the best of the bunch. We got a junior suite and it was incredible. If you can get room 300. We could literally have thrown a stone from the hotel entrance and landed it in Lake Como. Perfect location with the Lake, town centre and lakeside restaurants all just a few minutes away. Quite hot in August so allowed us to get back and shower to freshen up. Nothing overly special about the hotel or room itself other than the location but it was decent […] enough. Reception were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to give us advice on other activities. Hotelzimmer sehr klein, Badezimmer könnte besser gereinigt werden, Frühstück könnte besser sein, wenig Auswahl. Würde eher nicht mehr in dieses Hotel gehen, andere Hotel sind bestimmt besser.

No hay conexion para internet y el baño aunque esta muy limpio tiene un poco de olor a drenaje. El hotel esta muy bien situao y tiene una terraza hermosa para cenar .

Das Albergo Terminus Hotel in Como liegt sehr zentral und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum See. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen! Die Preise in der Nebensaison sind fair (das Frühstück war bei uns inklusive). Ein wunderschönes historisches Gebäude.

Hotellet var indbydende og gæstfrit. Fabelagtig placering som ikke fåes meget bedre i Como Restauranten kan IKKE anbefales, middelmådig mad, og dårlig betjenning.

Reservamos una habitación doble para una sola noche. El precio era económico, pero el nivel de la habitación no era de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Crees haber conseguido una buena oferta pero te encuentras con una habitación bastante normalucha, en la planta baja, apestando a humedad, en la que ni siquiera cabe la maleta sin que te obstruya por completo […] el paso, con tres escalones nada más entrar en la habitación y otros dos escalones para acceder al baño. Perfekt läge två minuter från tågstationen vid den underbara sjön. Nära till allt av värde i Como. Glöm inte att göra en båttur uppför sjön. Inte billigt men det visste vi och "value for money". Rekommenderas.

I was nicely surprised by this hotel, perfect location and decent standard room. Inside parking very expensive though but also possibility to park for free in front of the hotel.

Hotellets beliggenhed er unikt ned til søen. Havde værelse med flot udsigt og personalet var meget venlige og serviceorienteret. God underjordisk p-kælder.

Vi valgte superior room og fikk rom med delvis utsikt mot comosjøen. Gode senger, deilig bad og god frokost. Eneste minus var den avsindig dyre parkeringen - 23 euro for en natt! Ellers et godt hotell, slik man forventer i denne kategorien.
