Mercure Bregenz City - เบรเกนซ์

Hotel staff were very gracious when we asked for a room change, when the room we were given reeked of smoke. When I booked room through Hotels.com, I must have forgotten to ask for a non-smoking room. We experienced some rain, so in between showers we walked around the lovely lake, and were really impressed with the "opera" set. This hotel was terrible. I really think they are in a spot that the price we paid was far too much for what we got. The hotel is in a weird spot of Vienna where you have to take the tram from the main station. The staff was REALLY poor service.

The setting was perfect; and the breakfast marvellous. Unfortunately the staff at the desk were quite rude - one man in particular stopped dealing with us when we were checking out, took a phone call, and kept us waiting for about ten minutes. We were only here for one night for the Opera, and the hotel was very convenient. Parking was a plus, and the short 10 minute walk to the town center was nice.

The best part about this hotel is the location. It is next to the Bregenx opera house and Lake Constance. The train station is 200 meters away and all of the great hiking that Bregenz has to offer is very easily accessed from the hotel. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the shower did not function, but the staff was very respoinsive.

Das Hotel ist nicht allzu groß und liegt direkt zwischen Bahnhof und Kongresszentrum, was für mich sehr angenehm war, da ich mit dem Zug angereist bin. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr herzlich. Ich wurde im Zimmer - aus welchem Grund auch immer - als Gast des Tages mit einer Flasche Rotwein, alkoholfreie Getränke aus der Minibar und einer süße […] Überraschung willkommen geheißen. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr geräumig und sauber und - obwohl das Zimmer Richtung Bahnhof lag - war es sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist extrem umfangreich und lecker! Sehr gutes Hotel für die Bregenzer Festspiele, direkt gegenüber der Seebühne. Sauber, guter angenehmer Service. B-Moll: Die Zimmer im 1. und 2. Stock haben keine Klimaanlage, was bei plötzlich heissen Tagen (wie dieses Jahr) sehr unangenehm werden kann. Ausserdem sind die Zimmer nach hinten raus durch vorfahrende Autos und die Strasse etwas laut. Dieses […] ist natürlich ebenfalls nur bei heissen Tagen ein Problem, da man bei 35 Grad und fehlender Klimaanlage natürlich gerne bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte. Udover at være et godt hotel, så er beliggenheden helt perfekt og uanset om du ankommer med bil eller tog. Byen ligger i gå afstand til hotellet og her findes mange forskellige spisesteder og butikker.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine ideale Lage unmittelbar hinter dem Festspiel-Gelände und neben dem Casino Bregenz aus. Das Frühstück wird beworben mit dem Spruch "Das Beste in Bregenz": Die Auswahl ist wirklich sehr reichhaltig; die 15 Euro extra lohnen sich.

Very convenient location in Bregenz: near train station, near opera place, near lake shore. However price increase during opera season is really too much. Rooms are ok but nothing extraordinary. restaurant is good (also somewhat expensive). breakfast is really great !

Im Sommer aufgrund See-Nähe, Ambiente (Bregenzer Festspiele) und Zentrumnähe sehr empfehlenswert!

Allt var mycket bra, men ett fyrstjärnigt hotell bör ha aircondition på rummen
