Elysium was my first gay-resort experience, and I really have to say that it could not have left me with a better impression. The staff was incredibly... friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and our room, wow was our room gigantic for what we paid. We were bragging about it to our friends who stayed elsewhere. The pools were numerous and wonderfully heated, the location was fantastic, with tons of restaurants nearby, and the beach a few steps away. Free breakfast in the morning doesn't hurt either. It really felt like being in just a little cozy tropical getaway. Everyone there was very nice, so the atmosphere was always a nice and comforting one.
