Super 8 Salem Il - เซเลม

I stayed with a smoking friend so we had a smoking room. I figured it would have some smoke odor, but it was REALLY bad. We had to keep the window open and fan going or else the smell was overpowering. My clothes even smelled after I got home and unpacked. Maybe a thorough cleaning of the rugs and curtains and then a can of fabreeze or other odor controller […] might help. courteous, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, but could not sleep for the entrants door slamming like a hammer, and hearing the noisy people in and out the hall all night. I did not expect a lot from a 2 star hotel. But this was aggravating after a long drive and looking to another leg the next morning.

Great people. Clean room and hallway. Coin laundry (75 cents to wash, 75 cents to dry) convenient.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff people at the desk were very friendly and conversational. Breakfast was included and very good. I enjoyed my short stay there.

The staff was very good and I was surprised when I saw negative reviews. My only complaint would have been the quality of the free breakfast.

I have never stayed at any Super 8 hotels before. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. I have diabetes and the fact that they have "frigs" in the room is very important so that my insulin can be refrigerated. It is a very small thing but VERY important to me. The front desk personal were exceptional. I got in late & they seemed […] geniunly concerned that I was fine. This was a great stop over for a few hours on a Friday night. Very clean and well maintained with a friendly staff. We are considering staying there on our return trip north.

The overall experience was good, no problems.

Only got to stay the one night. Left before breakfast was served. Will definatly stay there again if opportunity arises.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there during our next visit to Salem.

Room was ok... Bathroom floor had not been cleaned.. hair everywhere. yuk! But the staff was very nice and the continental breakfast was ok.

Went on a road trip with my daughter and this was between Memphis & Chicago - couldn't believe it had more amenities then the more expensive hotels we stayed at earlier ie. frig/microwave/safe/in room coffee maker/internet and breakfast to boot. Felt safe here too which is important.

The recliner in the room was a pleasant surprise because I spend most of my relaxing time at home in my recliner. I was pleasantly surprised to see a refrigerator and microwave which came in handy even for an overnight stay. The continental breakfast was standard but not many low carb options. I was overall pleased with my short stay at this hotel.

Joyce and Judy were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. Made sure we had everything we needed.

Good location, clean, friendly

No complaints about this hotel. Staff were helpful, room was clean...everything was fine for an overnight stay.
