Only real complaint is the condition of the recliner in the room. Tattered and soiled... I requested a clean sheet from staff and covered it before sitting!

Overpriced given the type of hotel and condition of the room. Dirty towels left in room from previous stay. Bathing water never got real warm. Stuffy, thermastat was not working.

I stayed at this hotel a year ago and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. This time it wasn't that the room looked dirty but there was a definite odor that reminded me of a dead animal. I asked for a different room but they were booked up and couldn't give me another option.

Very nice hotel only complaint I have is we booked one with two beds and we only got one with one, but rollaway was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and staff were friendly

The bed was very hard and made both my back and my wifes back soar. The rest was fine. With super 8 you are pretty much paying for a bed and most things were fine but a nicer bed would be great.

First thing there was no elevators, we had to climb two flights of stairs. Very hard when you are handicap. Second the room was hot when we entered and didn't cool down till morning. Very unpleasant stay.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. We love shopping at the VF Outlet which is within walking distance. The hotel is very conveniently located.

we had a hard time sleeping. theair conditioner ran for afew minutes then stopped and it would get hot.Thiswasnot all your fault. We must nothave known how to adjust the air.

The beds were very hard and the pillows were flat and stiff. Continental breakfast was fine. Coffee was just OK. Very close to Ames and served us well from a location standpoint. For the price, it was worth it. Not sure I will choose it again though.

Very clean. The beds were very firm, well at little hard, but I was too tired to care. Nice quiet location but a bit of a drive from Ames. For one night stay it was worth the value. They even have a nice little breakfast bar and good, hot coffee in the bar area as well as the rooms.

The lady at the front desk was not the nicest person. The room was clean enough but the pillows are lumpy and flat so bring your own. The hallway in the non smoking section smelled like smoke but the room didn't smell. The hotel is not close to anything but it was right off the highway so easy to commute into Ames.

This was one of the lowest rates I have ever paid, so to be honest, I was nervous about what I would find. This hotel was truly the cleanest I have ever seen- even in places with more than double the rate. The whole facility was extremely well- kept. Housekeeping did a wonderful job! We had stayed here in the past but this was our first time back in about four years. It was graduation weekend at ISU and the price was better for us staying out away from Ames. The owners of this hotel keep it VERY clean! It has older furnishings but was comfortable for the price! I would stay there again, especially if I was basically just there to sleep!

The hotel was better than I was expecting. We needed a cheap place to spend the night. Everything seemed clean enough and the staff at the desk was friendly.

I felt the hotel was safe and clean. Overall it was a nice place to stay. My only complaint was that they wanted the room available to clean 30 minutes before check out time. (They knocked on the door to remind me of the check out time 30 minutes before check out and gave me an unwanted wake up call almost 2 hours before check out.)

Reasonably priced and the staff was very helpful. Easy on off and the neighborhood around was very new and well kept up. A recommend stay

I like an hotel room which is quiet and dark so that I can sleep. This hotel met my requirements. And the price was right (cheap).

You get what you pay for, the beds were very hard and pillows very flat. This hotel is only good if you are wanting to stop for the night. The hotel is older and does not have a good breakfast. The rooms were supposed to be non-smoking but you could smell the smoke coming out of many rooms, walking down the hall was kind of like being in a bar.
