Very nice and well located hotel for the money!

The Hotel is well located, we were going to an event 5 mins from there. Galleria is accross the street. The Hotel is very clean, and the check in very fast. We didn't try the free breakfast, maybe other time. My friend's only complain was the bed being hard, I had a good sleep though.

The hotel does not provide any shuttle service to either the airport or nearby Galleria. I had been told the neighborhood wasn't the safest so I didn't feel safe walking to the Galleria. The "business center" was one computer that didn't work very well; it was a challenge to just print my boarding passes for later that day. We travel to Houston often, and prefer the Galleria area for hotels. Many of the 'deals' are for the high-rise, multi-star hotels that are often on discount. However, those hotels have disadvantages -- you must pay for parking $20 or more a day, your car is often only available from a valet, there is no outdoor pool, and you must pay for Internet. Hotel in itself is fine - wc/shower amenities quite poor. That is doable, but what left a sour taste was the lionizing front desk attendant, Crystal. Rather than smiling and being attentive, she was lionizing and cared little for our business.

I'm a LaQuinta fan and this hotel was about average. Great location. Nice price. Heated pool & jacuzzi area were great. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Bathroom was average but not as clean as I would expect: hairs on floor around baseboards (not mine). The location is great, it's just off the hustle and bustle of the Galleria area. The hotel is older and the rooms are clean, but you can tell it's an older hotel and is somewhat dated. There were check in issues as we were given the wrong room. Most hotels have the person behind the desk confirm the reservation details and had the person done this, […] we wouldn't have had to trek up to our room to find out they made a mistake. This hotel met or exceeded my expectations in most every way. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Everything worked. Great value in the Galleria area. My only problem with it was the horrible "24-hour" business center. A pc, non-working keyboard and a printer in a hallway are not even close to being a business center.

We spent the night here before apartment hunting for my daughter who was relocating to the Houston area. Room was comfortable, well maintained and clean. Staff was very good. Location and size of room was also good. Only issues are the room felt dated and some of the fixtures were worn to the point of rusting.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was great and spacious. The fridge didn't work, though. And the beds were SOOO hard. But for the discounted price we got, it was worth it. It's less than 10 minutes from all of the great shopping and its quiet. Great hotel!

Minor difficulties w/key card working in exterior doors and some touch up maintenance would help overall appearance are the only critisizms I have. The room was clean and smelled great. I noticed it is pet friendly for anyone needing this.

I stayed with my son and we enjoyed very much. It is very confortable and conveneous location. The only thing that was unapropiated, In the bathroom the bathtop was needing a better clean up. everything else was great.

Great location with close proximity to the Houston Galleria. Also, the hotel staff was quite professional and nice, always there when needed. This was our fourth year staying at this hotel, and we hope to be there next year once again.

This was an overnight stay after a long flight into Houston, took a while to find the hotel but we were new to the area! Room was satisfactory and comfortable. Location is GREAT near the Galleria area (we were going to Nutcracker Market at Reliant Center which was a very short drive away. However, the breakfast was just average. I also recently stayed in a La Quinta in Stillwater, OK and it was by far nicer with many more breakfast choices.

I should have known from the moment I was greeted that the experience would be awful. Austin, the manager on duty had tatoos on his hands, dirty hands and a black eye. Room was for the most part clean, bathroom had hairs still in it. Bathtub was stained. Service at front desk was slow but friendly. Amenities were good: free parking and free wifi. Location was excellent, close to Galleria. My room was beside electricial/mechanical room = noisy during night. Not worth it.

We requested a non-smoking room but the room given to us reeked of smoke - however, desk staff took care of it immediately and changed our room.
