I was very pleased with my stay. My room was spotless & extremely quiet.

The room was fine and the hotel is convientently located near several eating places. Only wish I could have stayed longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - best place in the area. Great staff, great price, great location, comfortable, clean, and sophisticated. The service was above and beyond. I will definitely stay here every time I return.

Awesome, waterslide enterained the kids for hours. Clean, great service and only 1 hour drive to the city

I was in Shelton for a training course Apr 18-19 and stayed at the Hampton Inn. From the moment I checked in until I checked out everything was great. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful (they even suggested local attractions that I might want to see when I was not in my training class). The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The […] continental breakfast was very good. I was on the first floor not far from the front desk and there was no disturbing noise from hall traffic. Free wi-fi with good connection speed. We were in CT for a family wedding and stayed at this hotel. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Great fitness room and business center. A 3 story enclosed waterslide for the kids. A very good hot and cold breakfast and staff was anxious to please. Overall, I'd gladly stay there again.

We had to stay for five days while work was being done at out home. WE LOVED THE HOTEL. Great Breakfast, great fitness center, great pool, great cookies, apples and coffee during the day. The staff was very accommodating. The room was terrific, with a separate area of the bed and the sitting area. It was a great vacation away from home.

This hotel looked brand new inside. From the room to the swimming pool complete with water slide and the friendly, helpful staff, it was a pleasure to stay at this Hotel. When we return to this area, we know where we will be staying. Great job!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were great. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. However, I was bitten over my arms, shoulders and face by bedbugs during my stay. When this was reported to the staff, they said that the manager wouldn't be back until Monday (holiday weekend), and in the meantime they put other guests in that room. […] They said that they couldn't be sure that I was bitten in their hotel room. This hotel was wonderful! It was beautiful and the staff was wonderful! The rooms are very nice and big. The cost was reasonable and breakfast was free!

I really wanted to stay at a different location but decided to stay here instead. The room, though small was exquisitely decorated and cozy. The service was excellent and warm.

I drove from NH to CT and stayed two days here and I must say I was very impressed with the room, free breakfast and the price was unbeatable!!! The kids love the indoor pool with the indoor slide just wish there was a hot tub for the adults...but I did manager to get to the gym, where I was by myself and enjoyed the new equipment. This is the cleanest, friendliest hotel I think I have ever stayed. The whole place was spotless, the pool was great with the large slide, and the rooms were large and clean. I was really surprised by the hotel. I was thinking "Hampton" but they were thinking "resort." The room was large and clean and beautifully furnished. There was a microwave and fridge tucked away so you didn't feel as if you were sleeping in the kitchen. Across the street there's a small shopping center and next door is a Kinko's. We stayed here for a wedding at Villa Bianca. This hotel is fab! They have a great breakfast, a pool (with a water slide) and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this Hampton!

Poor shower facility with big bar crammed in and water pressure very low. Faucet also very poor water pressure.

The service was excellent, the room was one of the nicest I've stayed at. The only issue was the breakfast buffet. The eggs were rubbery and flavorless, seemed like powdered eggs. The homefries were soggy. There wasn't any oatmeal even though the warmer was there. There was no breakfast meat whatsoever. Next time I'll get a deduction on my room rate […] for not eating breakfast there. The buffet was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. This Hampton in has been our Home away from Home every Christmas for the last 3 years. We travel to be with family over the holiday and our family is comfortable and cozy from the minute we arrive to the minute we leave. Even with late check in on Christmas Eve they have everything ready so we can settle right in. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Booked my stay through hotels.com, paid in full in advance, and now after checking my statements the hotel charged me AGAIN for the stay on my card they took for "incidentals only." This should never happen and was complete oversight by the hotel staff. So if you stay here be very careful if you give them your credit card.

Pool was closed for constuction Before booking the hotel i saw on the Internet that the pool would open in early Fall. Mid December and the pool was not open.

We have stayed at this hotel prior to the renovation/or purchase by Hampton Hotels. The renovation was a great success. Beautiful granite countertops in Bathrooms, and Bar area. Spacious room. Complimentary breakfast had something for everyone. The hot dish specials change daily. Customer service was excellent. It was a great stay.

This is the fourth time that my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. We continue to be satisfied and plan on staying here again when we're in the area.

The hotel was clean and bright and the workers were very helpful. There were a couple of things that needed attention in our room, First, the sofa needs to be replaced, i,e, its back and custions were worned and the valence which wraps around the sofa was ripped. This hotel is very clean and the staff is very courteous! The breakfast buffet is delicious. The cinnamon buns are the best We ever had!! The location is very convenient and We would highly recommend this hotel. The suites are very spacious with beautiful furniture.
