The Breakfast could have been better, and a little longer. not enough food was out.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Maine Mall. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived - the room was a suite and had plenty of space to offer. There is no gift shop on premises. There is no restaurant on site. The Chinese restaurant Lang's Express that the staff recommended had the worst food I have ever eaten! The Italian restaurant was overpriced for their room service as well. The indoor pool was nice, but the water was a little chilly and there was a lot of chlorine in the water. The exercise room is nice and there is a tv to watch. During the night, there were some knocking sounds coming from our room. We could not figure out where exactly it was originating from, but no one was at our door. The movie theatre is just minutes away. The mall is across the street. Great location. Restaurants close by. Hotel was in a good location, but the television didn't work properly.

Breakfast was included which is nice and it was adequate but not great. The pool appeared very nice and clean but there may have been too much cblrine as my daughter's eyes were badly burned and all of my girls had damage done to their hair! Staff was responsive to our concern.

We always stay at this hotel as it is close to shopping mall, outlets, etc. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

You get what you paid for. Awesome hotel for the price we paid and my family had wonderful weekend. Breakfast was included in price and was better than other hotels. A last minute room on Labor Day weekend was hard to find in Portland, and although we wanted to stay downtown and closer to the old port area, this was $120 less than rooms in that area, and it was a fairly easy 10 min ride into town...worth saving $$$ each night... Stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights in a King Suite. Although smaller than other "Suite Hotels" I have stayed at, it was very comfortable and easy to get into town. dining, or shopping. check in was simple and hotel is in a convenient location nest to shopping malls and restaurants, and about 25 minutes form the beach (further than advertised). This was a nice hotel that was conveniently located near the airport. My only complaint is that there was a strong smell of mildew in the room. It was almost unbearable.

A nice hotel but I won't give it a high score for safety compliance. Guests who enter through the back door have to passed by a "very slippery" walking area before they can board the elevator. You have to pass by the indoor swimming pool and people exiting that room has nowhere to wipe their feet. My family and I stayed here over the July 4th weekend. After reading the reviews and based on past experiences at Holiday Inn's, we booked a one night stay. The hotel room smelled a little moldy, like it needed to be cleaned and aired out. The bathroom especially reeked. The stay was good. The room is big but the tv was a bit awkwardly positioned. When we got off the elevator to our floor, we thought the hallway smelled like smoke. As we came and went, we realized it was more of a musty smell. Whatever it was, it wasn't pleasant but you don't notice it a few minutes later. My daughter and I wanted to explore the Portland area so we booked a room for one night on our way from Eastern Maine enroute to Boston. We chose it because it was on the southern part of Portland closer to our final destination. I was really looking forward to staying here. It was the weekend of my birthday.I thought suite meant luxury, but not at this hotel.It just meant expensive. There was trash over flowing out of trash barrels.Only two carts for luggage for all those guests.Breakfast was no better than Mcdonalds! The hotels staff was unfriendly and the hotel was dirty. […] The Suites was small and cramped.The furniture was really uncomfortable and it was hard to get a wireless connection.It said the suites had everything, boy were we disappointed.I guess everything meant microwave and mini refrigerator? The room was clean and comfortable. I was travelling alone with three small children and the staff was very helpful. I appreciated the added convenience of a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

My only complaint was how cold the pool was. The main reason for staying here was so my kids could enjoy the pool. December and a chilly pool with kids...not good.

Room was a king suite with a kitchenette area. There was with a under counter fridge with generous counter space, traditional coffee maker and a microwave.Great for long stays but there was only one sink in the bedroom-bath area so you had to share personal grooming with dish washing. This hotel was excellent. It was very welcoming, clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. It was however, a bit tricky to find, even with a gps.

Very appropriate hotel to stay at. The only drawback, the sink is outside of the bathroom. I did not see this in the pictures. I personally do not like that arrangement. Over all very pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

The hotel was very quiet, which is greatly appreciated, the room was fine once we were relocated. Our reservation called for a non-smoking room and the one we were initially assigned absolutely reeked of smoke. The person at the desk quickly relocated us to a non-smoking room. Our room was across from the ice machine and washer and dryer. The ice machine is loud and disturbing during the night when people come for ice.

Hotel is decent if you can get a non smoking room, otherwise the nice lobby and breakfast wont cut it!

Looks real nice, breakfast good. But constantly had to remind housekeeping to do its job. Dirt still under beds, not the right number of towels, left dirty stuff, even 3 nights into our stay. Plently of hotels in the area to try before this one again

This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the separate sitting areas in each room are convenient when two people do not go to sleep at the same time. The beds, however, are hard, lumpy and seriously uncomfortable for sleep (based on sleeping in two separate rooms on different dates). I would recommend this hotel except for the terrible beds.

Don't let the low price scare you, this is a great hotel. Big, clean rooms, comfortable beds and wonderful service. I called to have someone look at the fridge because it wasn't very cold and they sent someone up within 5 minutes and he fixed it right away.

The rooms were very clean and the help was very helpful and friendly, close to shopping and the Old Port. The pool was enjoyable.

This hotel was very comfortable. We are a family of four with two young boys (2 yrs and 6 months). It was a great hotel for our needs because it was perfect for the kids.
