Baymont Inn and Suites Decatur - Decatur

Hotel was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Decent free breakfast. Reasonably clean. Good value for the money. Easy on and off hwy. TV remote did not turn TV on and off, I talked to front desk, they were to fix it, but did not. Other than that good place to stay for business or short stay.

I think adequate best describes this hotel. It is a good value for the price. Rooms were quite and clean, bed was a little stiff but overall it met my needs.

room was clean and modern. had no problems what so ever. would recommend to others and plan to stay there when I visit in July.

The bathroom had a funny odor, kind of like a dirty mop. Otherwise, I thought the room was what you would expect for the price. I had a bit of trouble finding the place, ended up having to use GPS because the hotel was not visible from the main road coming from one direction. Was quiet at night & great Free breakfast!

the desk staff are very friendly and welcoming. the location is near the highway, but since it is at the end of the road where all the hotels sit, it is pretty quiet. i didn't hear any outside noise. the free breakfast is decent, and i found the bed comfortable (though my husband didn't). the bathroom was a little old and in need of updating (some rust […] and a slow-flushing toilet), but for the price i can't complain. the location is great, across from a mall and many restaurants. i'd stay here again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I was staying here on business. The internet at this hotel was terrible. I kept having to call the front desk due to lack of connection and they would reset the router. This only allowed for a real slow connection. Any webpage that had lots of pictures and graphics would often have to be refreshed to completely load the page. The staff was very nice. Good continental breakfast with waffles available. Room was average. Area was not bad with decent restaurants/shopping nearby. Bed was comfortable.

The major problem with this hotel was there was no good ventilation!!! Although we were in a non-smoking room, we could smell smoke enough we wanted to change rooms. It was very hard for us to breath throughout the night.

Checked in all was well. The next day our keys wouldn't work. Mgmnt. said our room was only pd. for one night, he needed my credit card again to pay for the 2cnd night. I showed him conformation email, showing pd, etc. He would not accept that and said I would have to call Hotels.com to straighten it out. I did and they called him back and he re-did […] our keys. Next day, same service, keys would not work. In general, I was not happy with the hotel at all. I am not sure I will use Hotels. com website again. This was a good spot for my one night stay. Just needed a clean bed to sleep in. Staff was courteous and helpful. They've done a decent job of keeping the smoke smell minimized, but those who are bothered by it should probably elect for a different place to stay.

The friendliness helped me through a difficult and trying time. Thank you.

The staff was very welcoming. They gave me the outdated newspapers (I'm in the process of clearing out my mom's house). It's been nice to see the same friendly faces, week after week.

The complimentary breakfast, microwave and refrigerator and air conditioner were AWESOME for the price of the room. The room was clean and neat. Fairly quiet. Staff was friendly. Girl with red hair was very pleasant. Room temperature was not too cool,not too warm, just right.

It would have been very comfortable except that the person in next room ran their TV loudly from 11 pm until 6:30 a.m. spoiling our sleep. My husband was unable to sleep, & I was awake at 5am. When my husband phoned the front desk at 5 am., the clerk said if we had called earlier, he would have moved us. My husband said that would make us angry to have […] to move. For a non-smoking room there were ashtrays in it. The hallways were very smokey and disgusting. The rooms were not that bad. Don't think that I would stay there again.

Great price and accomodations if you just need someplace to sleep. Room did include microfridge. Would stay here again.

Ordered a non-smoking room online and got a smoking room that was very smelly. Called hotels.com and they couldn't get me a refund, but was able to get a non-smoking room after some effort. Room was still musty smelling. Hotel staff was very nice but wouldn't stay there again.

This facility is on a deadend street...no traffic noise. Cracker Barrel next door...1 mile away from the mall, Texas RoadHouse, several fast foods all within 1 mile of this location. It woulld be helpful if they would put clothes hanger on the inside of the bathroom door. There was no place to hang my nightgown while showering. I was not happy that I had to leave it on the floor of the bathroom. Not good that something so simple was overlooked.

I was very pleased with the total experience, from check in to check out. The room was clean, the bed was awesome, and it was quiet...very quiet. Just exactly what I needed. I can highly recommend the Baymont in Decatur, Il.

The hotel was adequately sufficient. There were not a lot of guests there when we stayed. The breakfast was a little disappointing.....but it definitely is worth staying at if you are in the area.

This hotel was pretty inexpensive, and we were just staying overnight while visiting relatives nearby, but there were some problems with this hotel. When we arrived, we were given keys to a room that was already occupied (the computer had been down earlier in the day, so rooms were assigned without keeping track as well as they should have). The garbage […] can in our room had not been emptied. The bed was nice and comfy, but the bathroom had no heating vent in it and the floor was as cold as ice. We stopped in Decatur for a quick overnight stay. Because we were only going to be sleeping in the room and not taking full advantage of other hotel offerings the price point was fairly important to us. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Was able to relax and unwind after being in conference all day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying there. On a lighter note, the waffles were not that great. Seemed to have an eggy consistency, but otherwise the breakfast was what we expected.

We've stayed at several motels in Decatur over the years, and this one is the best value. We've never encountered any problems here.

I have stayed at this hotel three or four times over the last 10 years. There have been a few years in between stays and each time the hotel has looked a little more worn. It's still perfect for us since our kids are now young adults and I have to purchase two rooms when we travel. The breakfast was not anything to write home about, but the kids were […] okay with it. This is the 2nd time our youth group has stayed at this hotel. It is very accommodating for teens. There is no elevator, but other than that, the rooms are large, breakfast is adequate for teens.

Nice, clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

The hotel stay was pretty much what we expected. We knew we weren't paying for a five-star hotel, but we didn't need all the bells and whistles for one nights stay. We didn't check out the breakfast in the morning, so we can't comment on that. The desk clerk was nice and friendly, it was in a conveninent location, and overall was clean. It' a two star hotel and it maintaines that rating , it could use more and better pillows, I find most of the hotels given the Econmey could lower there prices some , but it seems like they have gone up in price.

Very clean and well stocked (coffee, tea, shampoo ect). A slight musty smell. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Overall if you are looking for a good room on the cheap this fits the bill.

The hotel did have a fridge and was clean. Decent room for the price.
