I have never met such a kind and courteous staff. I accidently left the lights on my motorcycle on overnight. The staff tried to contact me by phone to no avail. The hotel was in a great location, the staff were really helpful and we had lovely stay. An extra pillow and a quieter AC and it would be perfect!

Inexpensive place to sleep, as expected. Pool was drained, assuming, for maintenance. Room clean and quiet.

Coming from Utah going to Yosemite Park, this was a nice place to spend the night to get an early start going into the Park. Motel had everything we needed. Older motel but clean with all the amenities we would need, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Hospitality could not have been better. Will certainly use the motel again in our travels.

Decided to do a last second trip to mammoth to get some last second snowboarding in. This place was a reasonable place for a good price.

Decided last minute to ski mammoth for a couple days this was the cheapest booking on the website. Just like everyone said in the reviews it's perfect for just a place to stay before skiing. If you plan on spending more time at the hotel spend a little more money. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day on the mountain

This is just a basic hotel room in an older hotel. The location is great and the service is great. The manager/owner is really friendly & accommodating. The room was clean & has a fridge & microwave. You can't beat it for the price.

If you're looking for a place to crash before heading to the mountain, this motel will suffice. If you're looking for anything beyond that, take your money elsewhere...

Clean room, but no light fixtures (naked bulbs sticking out of ceiling), and TV console set at 90-degree angle to bed. Room is cheap for Mammoth Lakes, but you get what you're not paying for. Staff is nice.

For the rate, it's a good value compared to other choices. Recommended if it's only a couple of you and you just want a place to sleep.

The location of the hotel was great for dining and being able to catch the bus up to the mountain. You definitely pay for what you get when it comes to hotels. The room was and it was a decent size big enough for two people. The real down side was the uncomfortable beds and pillows. We woke up each morning with aches and pains from the bed and pillow […] so bring your own pillow for comfort. Expected the worst but actually not that bad. Pleased that they now have safes in the room as well as coffee makers. Unfortunately the wifi was very weak and slow.

The room was clean but the mattress was old, two pillows only (one ok, the other like sack of cement). We left early in the morning while it was dark. There was no lighting of the hallway or stairway. The room could use some updating. But the service was excellent.

Bearing in mind that this was the cheapest place in Mammoth for Thanksgiving week, we took the experience with a grain of salt. Pros: decent location (central between town and Village), cheap, has DirectTV, cheap, has a fridge and microwave (really liked that), cheap, serves a basic breakfast for free. Cons: 1. Hot water was a major issue for us, […] but the staff claimed they were currently in the process of getting a new water heater, so this may or may not be a problem in the future. Had a really nice shower at 6 am, but anything after that was lukewarm, and sometimes not even that. 2. Our particular room kind of smelled like cat litter, and along the baseboards were remnants of animal hair in the carpet. If you don't want this to potentially be an issue, ask for an animal-free room. 3. Room heater works well, but was really loud and turned on and off throughout the night, so it woke us up when it turned on, and then again when it turned off. 4. Walls a little thin, so loud neighbors woke us up at 3 am when they came back into their room. I understand you get what you pay for, so again, being so cheap there's only so much I expected. Black mold on ceiling of bathroom; bathtub drain was SLOW--had to stand in water before shower was over; contential breakfast was cookies, donuts muffins, coffee and tea with milk in a gallon jug sitting on the counter; registration area, room and exterior of hotel very run-down--would not stay there again if in the area.

Hot water very intermittent! Its a place to crash after skiing, not much more. Good location, no thermostat for the hvac so it's either on or off, staff friendly.

Headed up for openning day and needed a room for the night after a day on the hill and night out with friends. Staff was nice at check in, heater worked, sheets and room were clean, warm water, tv worked! Basic and spartan but many ammenities (free wifi, microwave,coffee etc. Room heating and cooling fan is annoyingly loud. Lucky did not need it at night.

Stay was OK, but registration was slow and not well coordinated. Lights were not turned on early enough after dark. Would maybe consider another stay.

the location is good, close to town center. microwave and mini refrigerator in the room is very convenient. Free wi-fi is a plus, but breakfast is very limited, wish had more choice.

For the price, I've had better experiences. Room was adequate but TV didn't work initially. Called and they promptly sent someone. Had to call a 2nd time and then it worked. Window was very difficult to lock but maint. got it secured. Breakast needs improvement.

Had a two queen bedroom and it was HUGE. Very comfortable for 3 large men with biking gear. Mini fridge and microwave in room were convenient. Hot tub was down during our stay, but they had hot tub available at Quality Inn across the street. They had a very good bed and bathroom. The desk and extra couch were also very nice. Did not use the pool but it looked very clean. WIFI was free and the ice was close. The only thing it needs is a larger TV screen. Almost impossible to see from the bed.

Delapidated - poorly maintained and cleanliness levels were below basic standards. Might be acceptable to a group of frat boys, but not acceptable for couples or families.

It's obvious the main priority for the proprietors of this place is to not spend a single extra dime on anything. Repairs were made with scotch tape, etc., if at all. The TV didn't even face the bed - we had to actually move the entire entertainment center to swing the TV around to see it. The place was filthy!! The bed was hard, the pillows were flat, there was only facial soap, I refused to walk on the carpet even in socks because you could see the dirt and it had an odd musty odor. I couldn't wait to get out of that pit.

Second stay at this location. Great economy lodge. Manager is a really nice guy very helpful. Great rooms for the two pugs we travel with. Located in the middle of mammoth, convenient to get around to different places. Not a real luxury place but for the price we will return.

We were passing through Mammoth on our way to Yosemite; this is a total budget hotel, nothing fancy, a tad tacky, and clean enough. Not the best choice for an extended stay in the area.
