We stayed at the inn across the street. The room was clean but kind of small. The proximity of the hotel to the surrounding shops, restaurants, and bars was ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and Powell's Bookstore. Not far to drive to Rose Garden and running trails through dense woods. Really amazing.

We recently stayed here prior to attending a friend's wedding in Portland. We found the room, or should I say "small apartment" to be spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. I was actually surprised with the quality of the Park Lane Suites, given previous reviews I had read through. I stayed late May, 2013. The lift was working, which I was relieved by, as I was given a room (as requested ) on an upper floor (I think 5th or 6th) and not near a stairwell - and I had several suitcases to carry up from the free parking area […] (had to do all on my own, but was fine with that). The check-in was quick, and the guy at check-in helpful in pointing out where I could eat nearby. However, I had chosen the place for its kitchen, which I was really pleased by. It was clean, a spacious living room that didn't feel tattered, and the small bathroom was lovely (as were the lotions etc that were provided with it). I was also prepared for a lack of what appeared to be clean sheets in the bedroom based on previous reviews, but found no such thing. Overall, as a single female traveller, I felt safe and very happy with the hotel, and would definitely recommend it and stay again. This room was totally adequate for our needs. The room was clean, the staff polite. The beds were too firm for me, but certainly in nice condition. They do not offer breakfast, but that was fine for us. There is a Whole Foods very close by on Couch St with healthy options.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Park Lane. The Staff went above and beyond their duty to be accomodating and were full of good information. The rooms weren't "fancy", but were comfortable and very clean. It was in walking distance of good restaurants, beautiful old homes, and 2 blocks from the Rose Garden. Very nice and well kept. Just wish there was elevator taking us to the 2nd floor where our room is.

Great location, off major bus line, 23rd st/nob hill area is great and within walking distance. Starbucks and grocery store nearby. Room had a LR, kitchen, large BR. Staff were all nice and friendly. Overall a great surprise of a hotel. The only difficulty was the parking lot and spots. Just takes a few attempts to get in at the right angle.

Looks suspect from the street, but wait until you walk inside! Great service, remodelled rooms, lots of complimentary benefits. Can't beat it for the price, anywhere!

The rooms were converted apartments that were nicely decorated and came with a basic bathroom (shower only, no tub) and a nice kitchenette for cooking. Hotel clerks were friendly and had cookies and coffee out in the lobby. The location was close to Washington Park and a short walk to the Kings Hill TriMet Station. I've stayed here before, and find it clean, convenient, and friendly. The cookies at the check-in desk are a nice touch. The staff is great and very helpful.

Positives: safe location, close to Nob Hill, walking distance to car rental, restaurants, Tri met. Hotel was very clean. Negatives: about a 4 block walk uphill from Tri Met (hard with luggage), could hear surrounding room noise, and not enough luggage storage space/place to hang clothes.

I was able to walk to everything I was interested in (given my limited time), and I appreciated the lush setting. The bathroom door needed painting, but I found the rest of the accommodation very satisfactory.

It was a very nice room, a little on the loud side from the rooms above. Would be nice if there was a clock in the room. Great location.

We appreciate this motel because of it's location close to the Multnomah Athletic Club. The beds are comfortable even though the floors are not the cleanest. Don't drop anything under the bed. Parking is very limited if you arrive after 7 or 8 pm. We like the location well enough to go back again.

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to Portland. The location is perfect- walking distance to many shops and great restaurants. Also minutes from downtown. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. if I ever go to Portland again, I will definitely stay here!

This review is for the suites, cute, clean, perfect size kitchenette, grocery store two short blocks away, great neighborhood, 2 short blocks from the Max, great staff. Perfect for an extended stay. Make sure you choose the Suites. Loved their toiletry products. Great stay at a great price, will definitely come here again!!!!

In terms of what you get, it's pretty simple and very plain and boring. But, if you're on vacation and you're not planning on staying in your room much, then it doesn't matter at all. Can't beat the location for the price. Parking is a bit tight but was available. Perfect for a family as we got one of the 2 bedroom suites on the end. Laid out well with living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Had everything we needed including a good sized frig and a dishwasher. Was easy to cook your own breakfast. Furnishings were decent […] but not fancy. The location was ok. The curtains were super shear and I could see every light outside at night and more concerning is I'm pretty sure everyone could see me. We stayed on the bottom floor and every person who walked up or down the stairs sounded like an elephant.

Parklane Suites is within a few blocks of Max and jeld-wen field. the hotel was very well priced and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. thanks HOtels.com for a nice evening.

We only stayed for one night. The room was clean enough, location was great. It would have been nice to have vending machines next to the ice machines. I had to go to the local grocery store to get some drinks/snacks.

Great place to stay when seeing the sights of downtown Portland. I loved that we could have 4 people in our room and not to have to pay for 2 rooms. Helpful staff, clean and well kept. However, the room was a bit small with the 2 Queen beds; no chairs for sitting. Overall a good room for sleep but not to hang out.

I really liked this hotel, people is so nice, the rooms are simple but very clean and cute. It is not a fansy hotel, but who cares if the room is nice, it is convinient for the price... I fully recomend Park Lane Suits!

Fantastic location. Within walking distance to the Rose Garden and Jeld-Wen field.Public transportation is also really close, the hotel is around the block from a bus stop and about 4 to 5 blocks from light rail. If you're going to Portland to explore I would definitely recommend Park Lane Suites.

I come to this hotel when I visit Portland. It is quite affordable and ideally situated in the beautiful Washington Park/Northwest District Park Lane Suites is quite close to light rail, downtown and the upscale shopping districts on NW 21st & 23 streets. You can't do much better than that.

First of all, I hardly ever write reviews as Hotels.com does a great job of providing quality hotels. I had a different experience with this hotel. First off, rooms are very small. Has an efficiency apartment kind of feel. My room was freezing and the heat was not working so I called the front desk to have an extra blanket delivered to my room. After […] my first call, I waited 45 minutes and never received this blanket. I called again and the front desk gentleman assured me that it was on it's way. Thirty minutes later I called again and was hung up on. I called a couple more times from the room phone thinking that maybe it was a mistake, but got no answer at the front desk. Finally, I waited about 5 minutes and tried calling from my cell phone. This time, someone picked up. I was a little upset at this time and asked that they make sure to send a spare blanket up. The front desk person finally delivered me two spare blankets and a heater himself. Nice hotel, especially for the price. Clean and pretty nice. Walls are a little thin (lots of noise from upstairs/next door) but it's a small price to pay at that rate so close to the stadium and downtown.

The hotel looked nice when we walked in, was a great price, and in a great location. The problem was that it was SO LOUD! They have fake wood floors so the 2nd floor movement was pounding down on us. We stayed up all night both nights we stayed there with everything from people walking around to outdoor noise. They need security to walk around and monitor. […] Also, the shower just has a little curtain and nothing but a few inches on the floor to block the water on the side so we flooded the bathroom the first day. Romm was very large with a separate living room, large kithcen with full sized fridge, and a nice sized separate bedroom. All very clean. Kitchen has stove top and microwave as well as fridge. And two servings of complimentary oatmeal - nice! Bathroom was clean and featrued organic bath products. Hotel also cleans with no harmful chemicals and the room […] was quite clean.
