We ended up staying somewhere else. We go to hotel and were not impressed but unloaded our items anyway. We went to another town for supper because there was nothing open where we were. There was another nicer Hotel there and we booked a room and went back, packed the car back up and checked out. Thepool was small and uninviteful and so was the room. The Days Inn - Barre, VT was old and dirty. The staff was not accommodating, refusing to give us extra towels for the pool. In addition, they tried to charge a higher rate upon arrival. The only good thing was that there was an indoor pool. There are alot of lodging options in the surrounding towns, I would choose one of them next time.

Nice hotel for the price and convenience to highway with heated pool and jacuzzi. Even though in a seperate building.

Clean & pool was PERFECT for my little girl. Refrigerator & micrwave in the room was very helpful considering the weather. The only thing that was a let-down was the on-site restaurant. Breakfast was awful. Other than that, pack your own food and you can be guarenteed a pleasant stay!

Very functional.

Hotel property is dated and could use a facelift. Electrical power (at least in our room) seriously needs to be upgraded. Lights would dim whenever another light or appliance was turned on. Lights also dimmed for no apparent reason (assume another unit turned something on). Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. […] Location is ideal if visiting the nearby Rock of Ages Quarry (5-10 minutes away). I was in the Barre area for a day of meetings and an interview. This hotel was conveniently located and had everything I needed. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was fairly quiet and I didn't hear any noise from the adjoining rooms. The room was fairly basic but very clean and modestly appointed. It had a small desk area, […] two beds a round table and a couple of chairs. The desk and free wireless internet were very helpful. The bed was comfy and had four pillows. The hotel has a restaurant that was only serving breakfast when I stayed there, which was a bit of a problem as a decent, non-franchise restaurant was a significant drive away. limited parking,mold in bathroom,and drinking going on out side (parking lot)late in to the night.
