Conveniently located close to Cedar Point. Very economically priced. Fairly clean room. Surprisingly quiet surroundings for a hotel on the main drag. Only two minor complaints: (1) the heat was completely off in the room when we arrived on a 40 degree night, and (2) a very small and cold bathroom, having the sink area outside of it. This hotel was inexpensive compared to many in the area. It is an older unit with very small rooms but the bed was more comfortable that some other places that we had stayed thus far.

This place wasn't bad until we came back from the park at 6pm to find our door hanging wide open and the housekeeper standing outside waiting for the power to go on. We then came back at 1am to no power again and were moved to another room. We woke up to a nasty 'umm, checkout's at 11!' from the housekeeper. We just got here! When you read DOUBLE bed when you book does not mean you are getting 2 beds. Hotel said just remodeled! HA super funny! Very nasty and had bugs! and stunk majorly! Cheap is not always the way to go even if your going to stay 1 night! Didn't even feel clean to even take a shower! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was not particularly clean. It had poor ventilation, which made everything feel wet and moist constantly. The TV barely worked. What was probably the worst part of our stay was the lack of thorough maid service. They didn't make the beds at all, and we aren't even sure if we got new towels or if they just folded the old ones. For those using this hotel for Cedar Point, you can't ask for better value when it comes to price and location. Did not attempt the morning breakfast as the hours were only till 9am, but it sounded limited. The staff was very friendly, however the only concern was when we entered the room there were two rather large insects on the floor. I only have one negative drawback to the room. It smelled really moldy and musty after we were knocked down by thwarting citrus smell we smelled when we walked in. As far as convience it was close to Cedar Point and for thwarting price it I will stay there again. Pillows could have been better though.

You get what you pay for. It was cheap. I have no complaints. Room service was friendly and good. For the price it was worth it. Remember paying this amount it will not be a 5 star hotel. I would stay again.

The hotel sucks only good thing about the place is the pool. Your air conditioning didn't work hardly at all and the place looks like it's falling apart. I won't be staying there again.

There were a ton of fruit flies flying in the room. There was dead bugs all on the bathroom walls. There wasnt enough towels in the bathroom upon check in.

Good location. Close to Cedar Point. Congested area. Dirty, dirty bathrooms. Very hard beds. Rooms were cheap, so what would you expect? Par for the course, as expected for the price. Cheap and very very close to Cedar Point.

The room was incredibly tiny and when we pulled back the sheets there was a stain on one of the pillows and stains on the comforter. The bathroom window looked like it had once been forced open and had no screen on it. The cold handle in the shower was falling out of the wall and the overall place just did not feel clean. The beds in the hotel were very poor. They were probably 20 years old by the looks of them. The were not even flat, but angled. Also the breakfast was coffee, hot water, tea bags, and 2 types of muffins. The bathroom door handle was missing in inner part so you could not shut or lock the door.

Best part of the stay, close to Cedar Point. First night stay, had a group of young adults who partied outside of our room past 2:00am. No sleep the first night. Husband noticed that the bathroom window would not latch (no screens) which made us nervous. Felt like anyone could enter our room during the night or during the day when we were out. Notified […] front desk and the clerk argued with my husband that "all" windows were sealed shut. You could stand on the toilet and exit the bathroom thru the open window, if you wanted to. My husband spent approx 30 minutes our first night and finally got the bathroom window to latch - still did not feel too safe. Continental breakfast was a joke, cleanliness of room OK (bugs had a permanent residence in bathroom). It was OK to spend the night. I would not recommend this hotel for families with young children because of the loud noise from other guests. I doubt if I would eve stay at this hotel again. Located in a run down neighborhood. Lobby and hallways smelled musty. Breakfast consisted of freezer cold muffins and coffee. No juice or water for the kids.

It was as nice of a stay as could be. Older property with older decor and amenities. People were nice and helpful. Beds were ok. Musty, older smell to the place. We weren't in the room much but nice enough place to crash after exhausting days.

Needed a reasonable, CLEAN, place to crash for 2 nights while visiting Cedar Point. The price was right and previous reviews annotating that the rooms were CLEAN convinced me to book. I am glad I did, it is very close to the park, it is indeed clean and our stay was peaceful and uneventful enabling us to get good rest after a day at Cedar Point. Picked this hotel due to the fact it had a pool with a bar. However no bar...Then girl at desk sends us walking thru a bad area about 1 mile or more to a bar that has been closed for over a year. All we wanted to do is relax and watch football game. Our phone in our room did not work and the air conditioner barely worked.

The rooms were run down and a little small compared to the other Rodeway Inns we have stayed at. We were disappointed that there was not at least a refrigerator in the room. The children just got in the pool to swim for a few minutes and had to get out because the pool was closed down. Never did find out the problem, was a little leary of that. The room and bathroom were clean. But it seemed quite old. The bathroom window didn't have a lock on it. The hotel was close to cedar poin and since we spent all day at the park and just needed someplace to sleep it did the job.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Reserved for a whole week but checked out after the 2nd day. Very, very dirty. The room was not even stocked with any towels or anything when we arrived. Mold in the bathroom, phone didn't work, trash cans dirty, floor not swept, spit balls on ceiling, cobwebs everywhere, crushed up pills in one of the […] drawers. Service was horrible อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The booking help for this stay, was "Top Notch"! But that's not the complete view or outcome. The Hotel was advertised to have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms, Not for 2 years now, I was told. And a" buffet breckfast"! They had mini-muffins & coffee & Orange juice. I had to return to the office at check in for "Entry-key" re-activation? the […] carpet between the bed and rest-room was soaking wet, because the upstairs plumbing leaked! This was close to Cedar Point and nice for an overnight stay. Would not stay longer. Bathroom was tiny and had a non-locking window in it which made my stay a bit unnerving. Beds were comfortable enough. Able to do late check in which was helpful.

after reading the reviews i was not sure. my family has stayed a few times and some enjoyed while others felt it was okay. when i arrived i must say, it was better then i thought. they have done some much needed improvements. water was clean and the staff was very nice and went out of there way. now i have to say. the coat rack in our room just fell […] down with no warning. Hotel location is ideal for Cedar Point; lil off the beaten path yet close to all amenities (food, fuel, entertainment, shopping). Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms clean amd comfortable. Look forward to a return visit is few weeks.

th eproblem we had was no curtain in the bathroom, and no vent so when we took showers it was sooo smokey. the clerk was very nice and hotel was redone so that was the good side breakfast juice coffee and muffins. real close to where we wre going cedar point

when we pulled into the hotel at 11:00 pm with our young kids, there was a balcony full of people having a hotel party. The room smelled musky, the beds spreads were from 1970, the bathroom was pink and smelly. I sign out front said that the hotel was renovated. The room was clean, but I won't say that it was nice. It was a very typical motel with thin walls and VERY small rooms. The continental breakfast was simply a tray of little muffins and coffee nothing else.

Our stay was fine until it was time for bed. People were comming in all hours of the night drinking and parting and using bad language. I had to call the front desk at 2am for help. They did quite them down but the beds were horrible and there continental breakfast was gone by 8:30 and nothiing for my family to eat. The staff was very nice, i was disappointed that the except on the hotels.com stated the hotel had a bar/lounge and was near the beach... there was no bar lounge and no beach in site, only a ditch behind the place. So, i was a bit disappointed in that. Maybe the reading on the website should be updated. thanks

The room was discounted.....the air was off when we got to our room. The room was convenient to parking lot, but had a funky smell to it. It was clean enough, but service to the room forgot to leave us new towels and we went to the office to get them. There were iron marks on one of the bedspreads. The donut diner adjacent was a real bright spots connected […] to the motel; great food and donuts!! The sign at the motel said "Newly Renovated" I couldn't figure out what was renovated. Slept on the chair because the bed was worst than rocks. Smallest bathroom ever! Shower felt like a coffin.

The hotel needs a Microwave in every room and iron and Iron board and a litte refrigerator and a 24hour mataince man on stand by

It was clean, and isn't that the most important thing!? Arrive at 10:30pm to sleep. Everything was clean, and that is hard when it is not new. Had a non-smoking room that was fine. Left by 9am to continue a weekend.

It would have been nice to get coffee past 9 am and breakfast. That is my only complaint. Very nice stay otherwiswe.........

Only issue we had is we had a handicap individual which required another individual to assist with the bathroom care and it was very difficult because of the make up of the bathroom. /we had to be able to put a walker and a wheelchair in the bathroom together along with another individual to assist in transfer. The hotel needs repair. The room was clean, but bedspread had holes in it. The shower/tub did NOT have a grab bar-made me uncomfortable. The desk clerk was rather terse, and do NOT expect anything more than lukewarm coffee and muffins cut into thirds for the continental breakfast. When we arrived the gal gave us a room - once in we saw this rm was not cleaned yet - toilet paper all over floor in bathroom, beds not made. Once we were given a second rm, we asked about places still open to visit - the gal told us about the Mall - once we arrived at Mall - they were closing. (frustrating - motel gal had not mentioned their closing […] time, at all). Then - from about 10pm to 2:30am there were teens outside our room, talking LOUD about everything from EVERYTHING! ! OMG - common sense would NOT put teens beside a family's room!? Doubt we'll go back - unless we are compensated for our first/prior visit. Oh, also, no water in the pool. It served the purpose, but not exactly as nice as I had hoped. Had dead bugs in the bathtub and some on the vanity counter.

The hotel was clean but smelled musty. You could tell it was freshly painted but the paint was slopped on over hinges, no paint around edges, and dried dripping. The continental breakfast was a HUGE disappointment. The only food offered was a packaged jelly roll.
