Nancy at the front counter was amazing. We stayed in Springfield overnight before a long camping weekend. The front desk allowed us to fill all of our 20 gallon water jugs at their facility, and even helped us do it. I will stay at this hotel again. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast had alot of good choices! Employees were very friendly! This was in a very good location for the places we were there to see. Only negatives were the shower curtain had a sour odor, and the stairs and hallway floors were not vacuumed very well either days.

Very convienently located, very clean, professional and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and quiet. This isn't a luxury hotel but comfortable with a great price. Breakfast was also a nice suprise! We travel through Springfield several times a year to visit our son. We plan to revisit this hotel often!

We thought the hotel was well above a two star. Free washing machine and dryer! Great hot breakfast including waffles, great staff (although didn't seem enough cause we were always made to wait at front desk) big, well appointed and decorated rooms. I made my booking about an hour before arrival on hotels.com. My only complaint is that the clerk claimed she did not have my booking when I arrived, and suggested I go get something to eat and then check back. I asked her to make sure, and when she re-checked one of the piles on her desk, my booking was there. Other than that, the hotel was a great […] value. it was what i payed for! nothing less nothing more! the pool was closed , it would have been nice to know that in advance! but i was not disapointed! you uasually get what you pay for and for the price it was just fine.

Good hotel. It has been remodeled for the new concept of Greenstay. In return you are getting a cleaner hotel. However the price doesn't reflect the need to charge more.

A clean, decent hotel with good breakfast and very comfortable beds. Rooms are smaller than some you may stay in, but for the cost ... it's an exceptional value. I don't live in hotel rooms when travelling ... I want to be out doing things whether at work or vacation ... I basically just need a place to sleep, so a clean, nice place that is comfortable […] and inexpensive is a HUGE benefit. Not gonna mislead you, this is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a solid 2.5-3 star hotel at a 1 star price. Very nice rooms, good location to everything. Only downside is the proximity to the train tracks. Personally, I find the sound of train whistles rather nostalgic, but some folks don't.

We were very happy with this hotel. Great access to 65 as well as the university activities of our daughter. The hotel was clean, had a McDonald's and Hardees in the parking lot, was comfortably furnished, and had a very good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will use this as our hotel as long as our daughter is here in school!

This hotel was fabulous! Clean clean, comfortable beds and room nicely decorated. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great. Very comfortable and more amenities than expected. The breakfast was also very good with nice room and surroundings.

It does not have shuttle service like we were lead to believe. However the staff was efficient and friendly. This hotel was fairly nice. The only problem I had was the refrigerator was loud. Annoyingly so.

I stayed at Greenstay on the first night of a 4 day move from Chicago to Los Angeles. I called ahead to say I would be checking in late. When I arrived after midnight the front desk person could not find my reservation. After waiting about 15 minutes, my companion noticed a fax in the middle of the desk with our reservation & room assignment already […] completed by the woman I had spoken to earlier. There is no elevator (which was fine since we did not have much luggage). The hotel was clean & nicely appointed. Breakfast was still plentiful at 830am & food was decent., good coffee. Convenient hotel for a road trip stop, but a lot more. Impeccable service, comfortable, and we just generally appreciated the entire mission statement of the place. Privately owned and operated. Awesome. Support a great local business!

Was traveling and needed to stop for the night. Searched online for hotels in Springfield and found this hotel on hotels dot com and the price was very reasonable. We have stayed at the Greenstay twice just recently and were extremely happy. The rooms were very clean and loved the fact that the bed sheets smelled so fresh and crisp. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast in the morning is a definite plus. We would stay there again and again.

I went here exspecting less than what I received. It has a rating of three stars and the rating should b a lot higher than that. I'm often in that area on business, and now I will stay @ no other place.

Very Satisfied, would recommend to others, if I need to go back to Springfioeld, Mo will stay there again.

Loved our room. The most important part of any hotel room for me is the bed and this one was unbelievably comfortable. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean.

Great service, very clean, organized. The best hotel we stayed in during our cross country trip excellent hotel.

Everything was just fine, except for dining options without having to drive. Only two choices were Hardee's and McDonald's.

The staff was very friendly, our room was clean. They definitely go the extra mile here. After being in our room about 5 minutes, they called to make sure that we liked our room. We had a note slipped under our bed in the morning thanking us for staying there. The breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

Outdoor pool was closed(winter) The Spa/fitness room was just a fitness area with NO Spa? Not sure why it was called Spa/fitness room. I would stay there again, had a nice breakfast and room was fine for the price.

Kudos to Greenstay for offering a place that is environmentally friendly, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed the stay.

The rooms were huge. Almost as big as my house! Very Clean. Either we got real lucky or this is the best hotel ever. Great Value.

Noisy next to a railroad track

Clean hotel, fantastic breakfast, staff friendly, room was nice and not as small as several other hotels we stayed at. Would stay there again. It is a "green" hotel so there are not a ton of luxuries. But we didn't need or want extras. Just a nice and clean place to stay...and we got that by far!
