The first thing we lifted the mattress and a bug was crawling across the mattress. We went on line and it looked like a bedbug. Then after we checked into another room people were standing on the outside hallway on the second floor where our room was smoking. My wife is allergic to cigarette smoke. Very nice room. Staff was very nice and rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great.

For a weekend trip, we weren't far from many attractions...this made travel easy. Our room was clean daily and the Saturday night pool movie was a hit with our kids! Parking was free, which was another bonus.

We've stayed here before with no problems. This time we were in a room right next to the stairs, and it was very noisy. The doors slam shut very hard, which caused disruption throughout the night.

great clean rooms, plenty of parking, comfortable beds - great place to stay for a short or long term stay

The room and beds were comfortable, soft pillows. The bathroom sink was outside the bath/shower/toilet room so there wasn't very much room to place your toiletry bags for 3 people. Overall basic but good. Bus 120 outside opposite hotel takes you into the city. Bus 88 outside hotel goes to Old Town (a must see) and to transit centre. The hotel room itself was fine and the location of the hotel was convenient. However, the parking lot wasn't well lit at night and therefore felt unsafe.

Loved it!!! close to major attractions, very clean, rates were very good, couldn't have been happier for our weekend just to getaway & relax!!!

The only issue we had at the hotel was noisy upstairs neighbors. People with kids may need to be placed on the bottom. The hotel stay was great, the pool was awesome, it was salt water so it didn't hurt your eyes. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel has been renovated, but you can still tell that it's a bit on the older side. The floor in my room creeked in spots and the black-out curtains only covered the sides of the window. It was not designed to extend all the way across which I thought was very interesting. The hotel was our home for 7 nights while we visited San Diego and we were very satisfied. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Bunz Restaurant was convenient, good food, reasonably priced. There is no complimentary breakfast and no shuttle service, but we felt that for the price, we received a good value.

I thought the price was right. The room was clean had a fridg. It was a nice area to stay, well keep room! NICE POOL & JACUZZI!

This Days boasts being the highest rated in San Diego, and I see why. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pool/spa area was nice. But the shinig gem of this hotel is Bunz, the hamburger joint attached to the hotel. Totally delish. If you have a chance to eat there, by all means jump on it.

The pictures look great online, but you won't be staying in that modern room with the plantation blinds. It was an old dingy hotel with new TVs. The staff was very nice, but the hotel just wasn't worth it, I thought it would be along the lines of courtyard Marriott, as the price was the same if not more. My stay was good, room service should pay more attention for refreshing soap bars, shampoo and other supplies, I spent my 4 days with only one hand soap bar and one bath soap bar, since it was a business trip I didn't spend much time in the hotel, so I didn't have the time to ask for those stuff.

Super busy hotel but very clean rooms that have been refurbished. Super friendly staff at check in, very nice! Parking is really tight as the hotel is very busy. Super great bargain for the price, would certainly stay there again!

The days hotel is on par or better than the majority of the hotels in the area. I think you could stay elsewhere if price is the big factor. The room was clean and nice and had a tiny fridge. I would stay there again.

Everything was pretty good except for the floors were squeaky. We were on the second floor, the squeaky foot steps from the third floor woke us up.

The hotel is older but adaquately matained. The room is equipped with a refrig & microwave, which is appreciated. To accomodate the placement of the appliances, the bathroom sink was elevated to a non-standard height. As a result, I was unable to use the bathroom mirror effectively to apply make up. The photography of hotel makes it appear much better then it really is. We were disappointed when we first arrived because of the pictures. Had we not expected better we wouldn't had been disappointed. The "kitchenette" is shared space with bathroom counter. They do a good job keeping it clean but well used.
