At the Delta Bow Valley, different room types, including different amenities, are distinguished by floors. I believe that our team did not provide a detailed explanation as to why there was an additional charge for taking a higher room as these rooms have different amenities, different inclusions and different pricing. I apologize that you were made to feel uncomfortable. I was very pleased to hear that you did receive good service from our team and that you were able to have a restful stay. I hope that you would consider us again the next time you are in Calgary and we can arrange for that higher floor room in advance. Sincerely,

Taking Edmonton Trail into the city center is a very convenient route as it by passes a great deal of traffic; a good tip for others reading this review. All of our beds are pillow top, made to a “Delta” specification and I truly regret that the bed in your room was not in top condition as is the norm and in keeping with our high standards. We have reviewed our website information to ensure it is clear and concise that the spa services offered are not located in the hotel nor operated by the hotel, but come to your room to do the spa services. I can assure you it is not our intent or our spa partner to cause confusion or disappointment. Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at the Delta Bow Valley. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the fire alarms. The alarms were triggered by the cleaning of our underground parking garage as the pressure washer hit a pull station, twice, when cleaning the walls. Guest and staff safety are our number one priority and as a result of those alarms we had the company that services our alarm system complete a thorough check of all speakers. As part of our life safety testing we run monthly fire drills which allow us to ensure the system is working as intended and allows our staff to put into practice their training. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you on that occasion. In hindsight we realize this was not a good decision on our part to have the garage cleaned on that weekend as business levels were much higher than originally anticipated and certainly caused inconvenience to you and our other guests which we sincerely regret. The Delta Bow Valley provides complimentary internet in Premiere rooms and up. Our Delta rooms (standard) there is a daily fee. I would recommend that you join the Delta Privilege program which provides complimentary internet to all members regardless of type of accommodation along with many other benefits. In closing, thank you once again for your feedback and I hope that we will have the pleasure of serving you again the next time that you are in Calgary.

First, I do apologize for the delay in responding to your post and review yet was pleased to learn that, overall, it was "definitely a good stay" and in particular our concierge was "phenomenal"! I am pleased to pass along these comments to the entire team, and, all will be pleased to learn that they served you well. Having said that I do wish to apologize for the discrepancy in cost quoted regarding the airport shuttle. Even though this is a third party that operates the shuttle we do need to ensure you are provided the correct information prior to making use of this amenity. With respect to housekeeping items I have reviewed those comments with all concerned and thank you for providing this feedback, it is very helpful.
