Donegal Days Inn - โดเนกัล

We recently stayed in Days inn in Donegal PA on 04/15/12 room 210 The heating system in the room was too loud and was not efficient. The bathroom has no heat and was at night freezing. The bedding was only made of one thin blanket and a sheet which did not offer comfort in the bed. As a result we were cold, couldn't sleep well, we woke up a few time […] as of these reason and didn't not rest well after 8hrs of driving. Quiet, very friendly staff, older but updated. Near some very nice restaurants and sightseeing, very close to Pittsburgh area and PA Turnpike just one block away at Donegal exit.

Was first assigned a non-smoking room that reeked of stale smoke in the back (older?) part of the motel. Requested a change and the friendly and helpful staff gave us a great non-smoking room on the 2d floor of the front (newer?) building which had no odor and was clean and comfortable. I stayed in the Days Inn at Exit 9 off the pa turnpike. The staff was great...very helpful. I left behind a precious necklace and the housekeeper gave it to the front desk. The front desk person recognized it immediately. Unfortunately she did not have a phone number for me. When I called she immediately explained and is sending it to me. Front desk service was good. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. I wish there were refrigerators and microwaves, but it was ok, we were only there 2 nights. Room was comfortable and clean. From check-in to check-out the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation, the owners (a hugely hospitable couple) emerged from their office and finally recommended a restaurant 12 miles away, but truly excellent -- despite the fact that they had a restaurant at their own hotel! The customer service was outstanding. Staff was extremely helpful especially Rose and Susan as well. We had a medical problem and Rose actually went miles out of her way to take us to a pharmacy for medication. Susan was also very helpful in obtaining information for us. If you are looking for a 2-star hotel that's clean and inexpensive, this is it. Just 5-10 minutes from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Ski Resorts. Nice Continental breakfast. Right off the PA turnpike.

Great motel. Clean and comfortable. Close to turnpike and skiing, but did not hear highway noise. Front desk employees were very friendly and efficient. Noise from others coming in a midnight, but not the fault of the motel. Family type restaurants closeby.

We were very impressed with the well kept condition of the Days Inn at Donegal. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. We have stayed in other hotels in the area and felt that our stay at Days Inn was much better.
