Upon checking in, the manager at the front desk opted to take a phone call instead of helping me. When I got to the room, I noticed the chair was randomly placed in front of the night stand and there were wrappers on the floor. Front desk personnel were good to deal with and knowlegable about surrounding sites. Room was a big disappointment, severly lacking in the cleanliness department. We had to request new sheets as the ones on the bed were obviously used (a big stain on the fitted sheet).

comfy, private and clean (enough). Side exterior door obviously didn't lock at canopied entrance which made me slightly nervous. Very quiet and well located.

It's an older motel, but fairly well maintained. Great for kids...lots of flexibility which kids do need. Loved the outdoor pool...swam in the rain. Staff small but accommodating. Great place for the price. Would come back again....

Stayed there with baseball team for local tournament. Only real complaint was the "workout room". Four pieces of equipment from the 80's and the treadmill randomly changed speeds. Maids only cleaned once in three days Probably better choices for the money, but for the 17 year olds it was fine

We booked this hotel because it was convenient for our trip to Pittsburgh. The hotel was dated, but our room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good.

Requested a wake-up call at 10:30 a.m. since check-out was at 12:00 Noon. NEVER RECEIVED THE WAKE-UP CALL. Had a horrible time trying to get a taxi to Heinz Field. I realize a great number of people in Pittsburgh were trying to get taxi's the same evening but the hotel had no interest in even TRYING to assist us in this matter. Could care less and […] said there was nothing they could do to help us. Need to work on maintenance, appearance and cleanliness of the hotel. We were there as my daughter tried out for American Idol and wanted to be close to Heinz Stadium, which was about 10 minutes away. The room was a great size and that was the biggest plus and nicely kept. Very poor service from desk, only one clerk on duty and we had prepaid, thank goodness, for checking out. Loud noises from bar below, no parking in lot when we arrived back at 11 PM. This hotel looked great in the pictures but was very disappointing. Room was dirty as was lobby & hallways. The door bolt was loose the pool area terrible.

The hotel was nice for a night stay I wouldnt recommend it for a week stay or anything. The price was decent and the staff was very polite. I enjoyed my stay and will return.

Staff had had time pulling up reservTion because it wasnt linked tho their system. No sheets on fold out.i asked for sheets she literaly gave me one flat sheet rolled up in a ball. Room did not have Welcoming feel but was ok with cleanliness. good location for my purpose in pittsburgh.

Not a luxury Hotel, but you get your money´s worth. Some rooms are nto very clean so make sure you ask for another one if you get one that is not OK. Staff is helpful, as they are aware of the condition of some rooms. Nice neighborhood and not far from the City.

Our first assigned room was dirty including dirt on the sheets and bed spread, heating unit hanging off the wall, the bathroom fan was broken and did not turn off and constantly made noise, soap scum in the tub, dirt ring inside the toilet, and the worst...we pulled down the sheets to find small bugs, suspecting bed bugs, in our bed. We went to the […] front desk and they assigned us a new room which was a little cleaner overall, but when we went to use the microwave, there was a plate of leftover food from a previous guest in it which we presented to the hotel as well. The following morning the manager said that she already took care of refunding the amount for our entire stay with the internet company thru whom we booked the room, and we would have to call the internet company to receive the refund. Upon our phone call to them for the refund, we had another surprise...the motel never called them about giving us a refund. With persistance, the internet company called the motel, and we were able to get back half of what we paid out. Immediately, I decided to submit my review so nobody else has to go through this hassle, bugs, and filth with this hotel. The hotel is very convenient and accessible to public transport, it is clean and quite.

I booked 5 rooms with short notice (the same evening I needed the rooms) through hotels.com and when my group showed up at the hotel, the hotel did not have any rooms avaialble for us. The desk clerk said there would also be guests that would be arriving for 5 more rooms of which none of them would be available either. Great for the price. Only stayed one night, basically just to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean.

Hallways were ice cold, no heating. Room floor ice cold, no padding between carpet and concrete floor. shower leaked, curtain in room which was a ground floor room did not cover the entire window, so anyone could look into room.

It wasnt near any of the main sights but it was easy to hop on the bus located across the street or the T-tube located five minutes just up the hill.

This is an old location that shows its age. The parking is awkward and the garage is dark and dirty. Seems more like a motor lodge than a hotel.

Hotel had no power. Someone gave me a candle to see inside my room.

This is a stopover place and nothing more. The walls are paper thin and it' located on a busy road.

The Comfort Inn is located on a busy street/highway and in a messy neighborhood. Remodeling is going on, however, and our room was just fine. A large part of our dissatisfaction had to do with the barely competent desk staff. The parking lot was way too small and crowded. Room was very small and very old looking. The ceiling looked like it could cave in at any moment. There was a blood stain on the sheets. The bathroom was a total mess! Hair on the floor and in the bathtub. I stayed there on a Saturday night recently. They had rented out their banquet room for a party that had a live band. The walls are paper thin and this party went on until 2am. It was impossible to sleep. The breakfast was reasonable. Rooms were small.

First off, I didn't have high expectations, considering the price was $100 less per night than all the hotels in downtown itself. With that said, the hotel is just a 10 min drive (we rented a car) to downtown. And parking in Pittsburgh is relatively cheap, compared to NY, SF or Chicago. We stayed in room 201, which is on the corner. On Sat nights, they […] have karaoke at the restaurant/bar adjacent to the hotel and it can get quite loud. They also share the hotel parking, so we ended up having to park almost a 1/2 mile away from the hotel. Not good. As far as cleanliness, I didn't feel comfortable walking on the carpet w/o my flip flops. And the tub had what looked like rust coming down the sides - but I could tell it was just old.
