Stayed for 5 nights in April 2013. Glad that I got upgraded to the 58th floor so i woke up to amazing views of Bangkok's skyline. . Pool could be bigger. Service was impeccable. We checked out and still had a few hours left before our flight. They let us use their facilities even after checking out including the pool and locker room showers to freshen up before our flight.

Banyan Tree was fabulous! We really were living above the city on the 57th floor! Their rooftop open air bar is a must-see (try the lychee martini) and the breakfast buffet was unbeatable! The hotel was wonderful. Great Spa and service. The price we paid for SPA was quite resonable. They were very professional and it felt great after the spa. HIGHLY recommend for the SPA on the visit to Banyan Tree

I think the Banyan Tree Bangkok is one of the best hotel i have experienced as like Hilton Suite Embassy and Ritz Carlton Maui. . The hotel is very good , not in the Siam center, the restaurant are so expensive that you cant enjoy time in the hotel. the service dosent have voucher or wrking relations with nagkok attraction so you need to do every thing for yourself and every thing in the room incloding slippers , and bath product cost money.

Stayed again, and again it was worth every dollar. While the hotel itself is not exactly "walking distance" from most areas the overall comfort and view of the rooms make up for it. Thought be aware since Taxi drivers may try to rip you off since they'll assume your "rich" for staying there.

Location is good as it is close to the train making it easy to get to the Chatuchak market and other places. But to walk out the door of the hotel and just walk around, it is far from restaurants, shopping, etc. We stayed there about 8 months ago and felt this time the staff, particularly at the front desk, was not as accommodating. They were pleasant enough to remove the charge but I could easily have left before I noticed it which I am sure happens all the time. The hotel is about 15 years old and it is need of a little updating as it is started to look a little worn. All in all, it was a pleasing stay and it is a nice hotel. Hotel was amazing. Great location, great staff, great rooms and amazing views and roof top pool area! Restaurant on the roof was a major highlight of the trip. Only downside was that it was formal dress (which is totally appropriate considering how amazing and 4 star it was) but its just so hot! Lol try a cooler night.

Everybody working in this hotel has great sense of hospitality and is dedicated himself/herself to his/her responsibility. The overall condition of a guest room and other facilities is good, but a few areas where some improvement may be needed are a bathroom, elevator operating system, and efficiency of Wi Fi connection.

Fantastic service, staff couldn't do more. The hotels maybe not that close to most of the tourist spots but the skytrain stations not that far away. Breakfast was an experience in itself and definitely worth getting up early for. Room was exceptionally clean and tidy and the views were amazing. Didn't want to leave.

Other than the rooms starting to show some signs of wear, the Banyan Tree remains one of the choice hotels in Bangkok. Staff and service are fantastic, and the view from the roof-top lounge and restaurant is unbeatable. Only real complaint is the steep price of breakfast. Very convenient to the embassy district but a 15 minute walk to the skytrain.

The Banyan Tree hotel is excellent in faculties and service. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but we were very well taken care of by the Manage on Duty, Hong. He treated us to drinks and dinner in a nice hotel restaurant until our room was ready. Despite the problem with our room, we very happy. The room (2 bedroom suite) was beautiful. It was […] large and had almost every amenity we needed. There were several TVs, a steam room and jacuzzi in the master bathroom, and a full kitchen. There was even a birthday cake for me as they saw it was my birthday from my passport. I've stayed at fancy hotels before, but I don't remember the last time I saw a pillow menu with samples of pillows of different density/softness. All in all, the room is more than comfortable and fulfilled my needs. The lounge access was an additional bonus. I was given vegetarian food freshly made on request, all complimentary. A wonderful Hotel with lots of choice for dining, spectacular views over Bangkok especially from the Vertigo Bar and Restaurant on the 59th Floor! Aminities excellent. Staff brilliant nothing to much trouble they make you feel very special. Food delicious, we were spoilt for choice.

The only thing I want to comment on is that the rooms are comfortable and spacious but need an upgrade. Other hotels of this level of five star hotels have LCD/LED TV's in their rooms where our room had normal tube TVs and also lacked things like a Nespresso instead of instant coffee and a very small plunger which we had in our Premier room.
