Not a good place to stay.

This was the worst hotel stay that I have ever experienced. Upon checking in the room that was assigned to me was not clean. The second toom was not clean as well. After finally receiving a room that was clean I was not able to rest due to guest running up and down the halls. There was loud screaming and crying from several children as well. Smoking rooms right across the hall from non-smoking defeated the purpose as you could smell smoke in our room. As a matter of fact, I was awakened in the early morning by a strong smell of cigarette smoke! :(

Good: Bedding and towels were clean, shower was hot and very powerful. Not so good: Bed was a little hard. Breakfast was donuts and a loaf of bread... but numerous places for a real breakfast nearby.

This hotel must be in a very bad area and/or caters to a tough crowd. The "lobby" is in a locked room behind safety glass and requires you to be buzzed in to speak with the front desk. It is an old property and is showing a lot of wear. The wallpaper in the room was peeling. There are no usable outlets in the room, unless you unplug a light, no clock/radio, […] very few television channels, no iron and ironing board, and breakfast consists of coffee or tea, juice and a tray of donuts. My Hotel stay was a bad experience . It had bed bugs in the bed and on the wall in the bathroom.

Very nice and friendly staff. Room was clean and I had a very comfortable nights sleep. Price was amazing with hotels.com

My daughters & I wanted a cheap place to sleep for a few hours while doing our Black Friday shopping. We did get cheap, room cleanliness was ok, beds were uncomfortable but for what we paid it was tolorable. What was not tolorable was that after shopping all night and returning to our hotel at 7am. to get a few hrs. sleep before returning home(about […] 2hrs away) was the continous knocking & opening our room door about every 10min. starting at 9am. It was housekeeping. Mind you check-out was not until 11am we had not turned in our key or given them any reason to think we were not in there other then we did not answer the knocking because we did not realize at first it was our door she was knocking on until she opened it. Even after seeing we were still there she still knocked & opened the door until my daughter went out to confront her she was trying to hide in another doorway when my daughter caught up to her. Needless to say we were all up, tired and angry so we decided to just leave, when we turned the key in we complained at the front desk only to be told it would be taken care of. My question is how? We were all exhausted the rest of the day, and cut our shopping trip short. I do understand that you do get what you pay for but this was a complete envasion of our privacy and makes me wonder how many times our room was entered when we were not there all night. Bed bugs : (

The only issue was the how hard the mattress was, but if you like that then it wont be an issue.

The hotel offered a very acceptable room and the staff was helpful, though the "breakfast" provisions are exceptionally poor.

The pillows were not good...and comfy to sleep...no elevator going to 2nd floor,very tiresome to climb carrying our luggages....

Staff were not friendly rarely spoke offered no travel advice to seeing the area. Spider the size of a quarter in the bathroom when we arrived. Play smelled of smoke. Breakfast poor - they served the same glazed donuts all weekend until the glaze turned white. Pay the extra for a nicer hotel, Good Point - Close to Amish Country.

Bed was too soft. Pillows hard as rocks. Noisy hall. Sunk into the furniture. This is an old motel that hasn't upgraded in quite a while. When we awoke, someone had apparently tried to take a TV and it was too big because it was left in the middle of the parking lot. Close to shopping but I think I'll try somewhere else next time.

We would stay again everyone was very friendly and very helpful!

for the price its not bad. the beds are very uncomfortable. only rooms available were smoking even though i smoke the rooms smelled bought air freshner to make it manageable.after room was cleaned that forgot to make sure door was shut. if in a pinch its not bad for the price.

Beds are not comfortable. Mattress are bad. Rooms are satisfactory. Service was ok.

I did not get the wake up call I asked for so I was late for my meeting! The breakfast "area" is pathetic. There is barely room for 2 people to maneuver in and it is cramped next to a staircase. Real cream for the coffee would have been better than the powdered stuff.

Hotels.com should consider dropping any association with this hotel! I am a business traveler and I have never ever seen any bedbugs until my most recent stay in Lancaster, PA. I only realized the infestation on my way to check out at 4:00 a.m., the desk clerk was nowhere to be found and the doors to the desk/lobby were locked. I will never make that […] mistake again, I WILL NOT stay anywhere that even has the slightest signs of filth! I can usually get past 'lived in' rooms, but I draw the line on BEDBUGS! This hotel is located conveniently in Lancaster PA and doesn't look terrible but it is clearly a cheap hotel. Also after my wife and I found bugs in the bed left immediately, and found a much better hotel. So remember sometime you get less than you pay for.

Clean, and convenient, though some seasonal workers were staying.

It served our weekend purpose it is an older hotel and it was what I expected nothing fancy. In a pinch I would stay again but will try another hotel next time that is newer

You could tell this was an older motel as soon as you walked in. The rooms were very clean, but kind of shabby. No internet service, which wasn't too bad considering we had our cell phones, but still disappointing. I'm not sure it would be acceptable to younger guests. :-) Beds weren't all that comfortable. Nice Perkins restaurant right next to it; which was important as they only offered donuts and bagels for breakfast. Good place if you just need a place to crash for the night. Our beds were adequate but not much more. People were often in the office trying to get satisfaction for problems with keys or rooms. "Continental Breakfast" was a donut and a container of coffee and a loaf of bread. Barely fits the advertised offer. The price was reasonable for 2 queen beds, so just know what you are getting. The answers to all of the above questions were in the positive vein. We decided later in the day to go on to our next destination, and your staff was very helpful getting us directions.....

I have high expectations, I like the 4-5 star hotels, but even though the room was too tiny, it was pretty clean. The breakfast wasn't great, so we ate out, but for the money, I guess there was nothing else to expect, I was pleasently surprised.

Nothing fancy, but got the job done. Liked the proximity to Dutch Wonderland and several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The night of our stay there we saw 2 bed bugs crawling inside the bathroom. So I checked our beds, if there are bed bugs too. The following morning there were still bed bugs crawling inside the bathroom. When we got home yesterday, we immediately changed our clothes and put all the clothes and things inside a trash bag and put them outside our home. […] Hoping we not to take home the bed bugs with us. But to my dismay, last night, my youngest son was scratching his tummy and saw several bed bug bites even to his arms and legs. When I woke up this morning, I saw myself scratching my hands and arms because of bedbug bites too. Even my eldest son was complaining of red bumps and itchiness on his upper back and saw several bed bug bites too. What dismay! I regret bringing my family to this hotel because of the price. Nothing fancy but it's a very nice place to stay for a night while visiting Lancaster. The price is good.

The staff was friendly as expected. The hotel appearance was okay not the best. The room seem clean enough for a short stay. The room was infested with bedbugs. I was awoke by the biting of the bedbugs at 1am in the morning. I left the hotel after taking the bedbug I caught to the manager. He apologize and found me another room. Our smoking room had a really musty smell from all the smoke. And the airconditioner was not very cold. I think the filters needed cleaned. A few air fresheners would'nt hurt either.

Nothing fancy but the room was VERY CLEAN and everything worked.

HORRIBLE!!!!! my father & I were traveling to visit Amish Country- that was fun- This Hotel AWFUL!!!! We stayed on second floor rm 223 @ aprox 10p found a bed bug in my father's bed. Front desk came up & saw the bug, moved us to rm at the far end of the second floor, rm 203; by early morning we found multiple bed bugs in that rm on the bed & in the […] bathroom. This hotel is INFESTED!!!.Came home & had to purchase chemicals to spray on everything we had including my car. Left my phone for manager to call... NOPE- 3 days later still no phone call.... This hotel is what it is. A no frills, cheap place to flop overnight when visiting Dutch Wonderland. Nice staff. Room cleanliness could be better and the shower water in room 206 didn't drain good at all. Good point is that it is close to everything. Plenty of restaurants, fast food, Wawa, shopping and entertainment.

Nothing more to ask for the price and location. I missed the breakfast hours but the front desk girl still offered me some donuts. Again this is not Hyatt or Marriott.

For the price that I paid I could not ask for a better place to stay. Being there for 3 nights I found the personnel were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to everything. The room was extremely clean, maid service was professional and efficient, and the beds were very comfortable. Don't expect to have breakfast in the motel even though […] they advertise it, (unless you count coffee and donuts as breakfast). However, Perkins is next door for a terrific meal. Not a good experience. We booked 2 nonsmoking rooms but when we opened the doors to our rooms they smelled like a smokers' convention. The front desk blamed it on Hotels.com for not confirming a nonsmoking room. One of the rooms they switched us to smelled quite musty but it was adequate but the other room we got had a nonworking air conditioner. For […] the second night, my wife I and had a room with a working air conditioner but, when we woke up the next morning, my wife found a bed bug under the pillow. When we told the front desk clerk, she didn't say a thing but just looked at us in a "so what" sort of way. The rooms themselves, if properly maintained, would certainly be large enough. A Descent Hotel for the price. A few amenities, but for what we were looking for... it was just fine. My Wife and I just wanted a place to sleep over after a long day in the Amish Country's attractions. A nice little Continental Breakfast, enough for us to have some coffee, O.J and a doughnut to get our trip home started. Good deal for the price!!!
