Upon arriving on my pit-stop trip as a student driving up the East Coast to return home, I found the consistent luxury of a semi-affordable reputable hotel chain. Instead I found a strange cycle of front office attendants/operators hanging about, not asking customers for aid, being frustrated with those seeking aid, and cooking a disgusting breakfast […] unfit for a mouse king. Not to mention there was a ridiculous amount of traffic congestion right outside the building keeping me up all night and the putrid hallway odors reaked of puke and bleach. The first floor (of 2) was having just a chunk of the carpet replaced for some odd reason and it seemed to be the source of the smell. Justin at the front desk was extremely helpful. I called the hotel twice asking for directions and he was very helpful and kind to meboth times. He also put on a fresh pot of coffee for me when I got there! Very much appreciated. Especially since it was Christmas :)

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nothing extraordinary but I'd stay here again.

Not that bad but I would not recommend it. Very difficult to find and the location was not that great. The girl at the desk was very helpful and recommended a great local seafood restaraunt that was excellent, casual and a very good value.

The bathrooms at the Frederick MD location are quite small they were ok for me as I am a small person however, anyone larger may have a problem.

Our stay was just fine! The room was clean and I was absolutely comfortable. It was my mom, my two children and myself. Although I am not sure if the had an elevator. The free breakfast was not good especially the coffee. And it was away from the main areas of shopping. Would not stay again.

This hotel was in nice condition. Pretty, clean rooms. I would recommend this room for anyone staying in the area.

Everything we needed for our night passing through Frederick - good value!

Check-in was quick and hassel-free. The room was immaculate and the whole place smelled clean. Breakfast was above average. Eggs, waffles, fruit, etc. Parking was a little tight, but overall, our stay was great. We would definately stay here again.

We really did enjoy the visit and it was great to be back in my home state. The only thing that I didn't like was that in order for me to get the rate that we saw on the internet, we had to book the room "online" instead of just having the front desk person just give us the rate. Pros - Comfortable beds, fairly good sized room Cons - found ants in the room (not surprising for Maryland in a hot, humid summer); poor sound proofing (had many screaming children around us) free breakfast very limited and boring

The room was actually a nice size. The bathrooms are incredibly small. I do not know how they got a building permit for these small bathrooms. I am not a big guy at 160 pounds. I stopped here as I just drove through Frederick, and it was exactly what I expected for the money. Those who left bad reviews had way too high expectations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. There is no elevator, so if you need handicap access be sure to request a 1st floor room.

Good hotel for this price.

This was a well maintained, comfortable motel. The service was fine, the room was comfortable and well maintained. We were very impressed with the breakfast buffet.

Ok place to stay. It is conveniently located by route 15. It was clean and pleasant. The bed was terrible. It was not comfortable and will give you a back pain. The pillows are even worse.

The staff was super nice, just great, beautiful accommodations, condition and cleanliness made hotel appear like a brand new hotel. Big problem; ants! It was perfect, The room was comfortable and clean even though it was an older hotel. The bathroom was small but clean. Service was great and people were friendly. Breakfast was excellent-Hot waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage, cereal , fruit salad, bagels and toast. Hot coffee and juice. The pool was a good size. Nothing much around the hotel within walking distance, but downtown Frederick is just a five minute drive away. Very nice area. The hotel itself was as you would expect from a Best Western - comfortable, but not extravagant. Same old breakfast that everyone else has.

The staff was very nice. We booked a room with double beds but rec'd a king suite with a pullout sofa bed. My friend was ok on the sofa bed but it certainly had to be less comfortable than a regular bed. Room and bath were clean.. Walls are thin so we heard people in the hall. With the highway intersections and the very small entrance sign, this hotel might be hard to find. The smallest bathroom area I have experienced. Glad the sink was outside the bathroom. Don't miss downtown Frederick. Easy to find from the hotel. Great restaurants and energizing atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights while vising the Civil War sites at Gettysburg, Antietam and Harpers Ferry. it was conveniently located between the 3 of them and also close the the historic Downtown frederick shopping and dining area. Overall The place was great! The only this they need to do is add more pillows to beds. And a better TV. the tv was old and the Picture was fuzzy.

We picked this location based on referral from a relative. We stayed for 3 nights. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. There were several things we needed and they supplied. Even after the housekeeping staff was gone. Thanks you. Yes we will return again when we are in the same area.

having stayed there before I looked forward to another satisfactory stay. This was not the case, it was noisy starting at 5:30am in the hall with other guests and VERY loud traffic (bus is what I was told) followed up by the maintenance men banging, yelling, and cursing in a room next door. Good Location, fine for business travel.

The first room I was assigned literally had no bed...bed frame dismantled, mattresses against the wall. There were no elevators so I had to carry my luggage upstairs and back down again. However the second room was just fine.

We were looking for a decent priced and decent place to stay en route to D.C. from Upstate New York, so we were here one night and had a comfortable stay in a king bedroom. My business partner arrived 3 hours earlier then the designated check in time and the front desk went out of their way to accommodate us and provide the room despite the time. Our room was clean and convenient to Historic Frederick. Yes, the bathrooms are small but the vanity is located in the room so it's not a problem.

Great price and exceeded expectations.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and really enjoyed the experience. I plan on staying when I return to Frederick in April as well. Great staff, very professional, clean facility inside and out!!! I highly recommend.

This hotel was a good value. As others noted, the bathrooms are really tiny, so if you're a big person you might want to pass. There was a cigarette burn on the bedspread. The hallways smelled like citrus cleaner & smoke, but the room actually smelled fine. It was a short drive to downtown and near a grocery store. This is a good value hotel. Had to be one of the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel. Room overall was not bad.

My experience was terrible! When I arrived I asked for double beds since my 4 year old daughter suprisingly wanted to sleep by herself. They gave me another "non-smoking" room that smelled like nothing but smoke. I asked for another room which they provided and it was free of the smoke smell. At his point it was about 7:30pm and we were so tired that […] we just went to sleep. In the a.m. I wanted to bathe my daughter..went into the phone booth sized bathroom and the tub was absolutely filthy...the sides were grimy and there was thick caked on dirt around the outsides of the bathtub mat. I called to have my room switch again so I could shower. Upon entering the bathroom of the new room suprise suprise...the same issue! A disgusting bathtub.. We ended up having to wash up in the sink!! I called and left a message for the general manager a Mr. Patel..this was 2 days ago and I have yet to receive a call back!
