Excellent service, friendly staff, great location at an awesome price!

My husband and I were given two rooms in this hotel. The first one was dirty we complained to the front desk and was given a second room. This one was Flithy! The sheets were rolled up on the bed and there was garbage all over the floor. Needless to say we did not stay overnight. When I called to complain the next day the front desk couldn't help me […] because I booked on line. They rudely connected me to Hotels.com who were very helpful in getting me my money back. everything was decent. could def use and upgrade. at least a flat screen tv in the room. the desk guy when i checked in was very very rude and was cutting me off every second i spoke.

Room was stuffy and smelled old, was really hot even with a/c on. Pillows were way too soft so I had chard time getting comfortable. We had 2 facecloths to wash with, no bath towels. Police and em's were called due to a guy beating up his girlfriend at 4 in the morning. Will pay more for better service and comfort next time.

Recently updated room and very clean. Pleasant staff. Close to Mohegan Sun.

I thought we would be a lot closer to Mohegan..says 8+ miles, but it took about 20-30 minutes to get there. It only takes an hour to get to Mohegan from our house so not much of a time / money saver for us. The location was close to a shopping mall so that was nice. The room was clean...2 small double beds...so small that my boyfriend and I slept in […] separate beds. The hotel door kept opening and would not stay shut. It was an inconveinance to have to keep getting up to shut the door. At one point I came home from dinner and the door was open when I got there.

Enjoyed my weekend stay at the hotel. It's a pet freindly hotel and the room didn't smell like dogs!! They were tidy and well kept. The front desk staff were informative and friendly and we enjoyed shopping at the nearby mall. WOULD DEFINTELY STAY AGAIN!

Very, very clean and well maintained

We were looking for a good place to sleep during a college tour weekend. This was convenient, reasonably priced, close to food for dinner, and to Conn College for our morning tour. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough that my daughter and I both slept well. It was just what we needed for the night.

We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest place close to Mohegan Sun. We were very pleased with our room, and it was extremely affordable. We've stayed at more expensive places that were not half as nice. It was also very quiet, which was great.

We usually don't complain but this room had it's issues. It had fleas, the light above the sink didn't work and the toilet clogged the whole time. We complained to the front desk about the fleas and she told us they do allow pets and gave us a 15% off coupon which we will never use because I don't see us ever going back.

This hotel is ok for the cheap price

The check in process was a little slow. The system was down and it took a while to print the papers for signing. The stairs to get to the second floor were a little dirty and there was chattered glass on several parking spaces. The water was or too cold or too hot; it was impossible to make it warm and comfortable. The heater was old and even at 65 […] degrees it made the room way too hot. The Red Roof Inn in New London, was clean, comfortable, and convenient, located right off Interstate 95. It fit my budget.

The Red Roof Inn is a perfect place to go for someone who is budget conscious and just needs a reasonable place to sleep. It doesn't have a big screen TV or Egyptian cotton sheets, but it's fairly close to Mohegan Sun with easy access to I-95. I found the room clean and quite adequate for the night stay. If I had one complaint its that one of the beds was in desperate need of a new mattress. When I sat I literally sank down to hard box spring. Rates were perfect. Shower was clean and the coffee wasn't bad.

We wouldn't recommend staying here. It appeared to be a transient hotel. People were coming all hours of the night. Children were running by the doors at 3AM. Didn't get much sleep because we were worried that the car wouldn't be there in the morning.

Excellent hotel and the management dwas very helpful. Their directions to and from the Casino were excellent and they gave us an excellent place to eat. Would I return absolutley.

I chose to stay at the Red Roof Inn when traveling on pleasure or business in the New London area. The rates are very affordable without compromising quality. I have never had a bad experience, the room is always clean and the personnel friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean but beds could have been a little more on the soft side. Would have liked to have had a microwave and Fridge but for the price it was not a bad experience and I would recommend this hotel to others. Hotel is close to the highway and shopping centers.

I stayed at this hotel while on a quick work trip through Connecticut. I chose this property because of its price and proximity to work sites and the highway. I was very happy with the location. The room was clean and comfortable (old TV's though) and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This Red Roof in New London is a great value. I've been traveling between New York and Boston for several months and have stayed 5+ times. The hotel managers are great and I've never had any problems. With free wi-fi, easy access to 95 and the CT casinos, I think it's an ideal place to spend the night. clean room;quiet area

The motel was clean and close to the highway, there's no breakfast Coffee offered but there is a dunks around the corner. We were there to attend a concert at Mohegan Sun, it was about 10-15 minutes away, ad I would definately stay here again if I was in the area :)

Went to the casino for my birthday and they had great rates so we booked. The room was ok it was a bit dark dingy and there was a washcloth on the shower curtain in the bathroom yuck.. The only real drawback is the entry & exit which is abnormal but It is close to the New London Mall, a small shopping center with a grocery store in it. Most importantly the king size mattress was very good and the room was very clean. Like all Red Roof Inns our "fur-child" stayed free of charge. I was under the impression that the room had mini refridgerators which they did not. But, the had a safe and the door didn't stay closed so thats a potential hazard for a nice gash on the leg. Also, After reviewing my bank statement online, I saw that my card was charged an extra $20.17. I called and spoke to a woman who said it was a charge for a movie […] we ordered. We NEVER ordered a movie but, when we turned the TV on, my husband hit the movie button on accident but was surprised there wasn't a second prompt to order movie. You can go to the movies for 2 with popcorn and be cheaper then renting in a hotel room. I'd never waste $ like that!!!
