Everything was very nice and the people running the hotel were easy to work with. My only problem would be with the toilets in the bathroom. The toilet was to close to the ground and not very easy to get down to or up from. They are great if you are potty training a small child but for an adult they do not work.

Nice Hotel, Nice breakfast area with a good variety of breakfast items. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Walls were thin, could hear everything. Bring earplugs for sleeping.

This location was great for close dinning, Chucky Cheese, bowling, laser tag and the Aquarium.

There are lots of things this hotel does right. GOod breakfast plus they have "Grab N Go" bags for earlybirds who doen't have time to sit and eat. It had a granola bar, bagel, fruit and a bottle of water. So convenient. The hotel shuttle will take you over to the mall, but it's just across the street, so assuming the weather is nice it's a great walk. […] Safe neighborhood and area. Hate the bedspread. It's super hot. There were three rooms rented for our group and eveyone agreed that you had to ditch the comforter and just use the blanket that was in the closet. Everything was clean and new. We had a nice stay. Used the pool, which was clean and a lot nicer than many other hotel pools.

My stay at the hotel wa great. The service was amazing. The beds were comfy. And I also thought the breakfast was great.

I left my makeup bag in the room and they held onto it. I called the next morning when I realized it was missing. They did not have it at the front desk but transferred me to the housekeeping manager's voice mail to leave him a message (it was a Sunday). Nothing to complain about the hotel and the service but even the tripple glazing couldn't keep out the noise from the I15 and the train horns. Good location for travel to Alta/Snowbird and some good restaurants near by. The breakfast was excellent and the reception staff were well above average. The rooms were comfortable and the free internet in reception […] was a big advantage. It's a shame that a bit more couldn't be done about traffic noise in the rroms though. Excellant service,friendly staff, great morning breakfast, very clean (including pool & hot tub) & modern & close to all amenities. I would highly recommend to anyone

We have stayed two years in a row at this hotel while skiing in Salt Lake. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub has a LOT of chlorine. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and inviting and the breakfast is very good.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights while we skied at Alta and Snowbird. Great location. We rented a car at the airport and easily found the hotel. Many good restaurants within a 10 min drive. Our one complaint was there whirlpool/hot tub wasn't hot at all. We told them on night two and nights 3 & 4, and they didn't seem to take notice until night […] four. After skiing, we really wanted a hot soak and all we got was a very lukewarm sit with little concern from the front desk. I assume they discovered the problem as they closed the tub. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean, as was the room and bathroom. Everything was in working order. The pool and hottub area was very nice and the hotel provides towels. Breakfast was fine--not exceptional, but definitely decent. The only downside is that the hotel is located just off a busy expressway and train […] tracks. You constantly hear the cars and occasionally a train, although it was not noisy enough to prevent me from sleeping. the rate for this hotel was not cheap, but the hotel was a very good, clean, and comfortable place for the stay.

The view of the mountains from this hotel are amazing. The only drawback to being easily located is that a major highway runs right behind it, so, if you're overly sensitive to noise then you may have trouble. Clean rooms. Friendly Service. My particular room had a toilet that would randomly re-fill during the night (loudly, as it's a high-efficiency one) and after being spooked a few times I shut the bathroom door and that quieted it right up... but the small mini-fridge was noisy too. Very nice hotel with excelent service and good breakfast. Only problem we had was 1 chair for 3 guests, but hotel stuff allowed us to take 1 chair from the dinning area. I highly recomend hotel for everybody. Will stay here in the future visits to the area.

I've stayed at a lot of Hamptons, and unfortunately, this one was a bit disappointing. The room was right next to the freeway and you could hear traffic and the wind whistling through the window. The bed was not very comfortable and everytime you moved, it squeeked. If you are looking to get a good night's sleep, you might want to check elsewhere.

This was one of the most upscale Hampton's I have stayed at. The accomodations were superior. The complimentary breakfast was excelled; seating well arranged for privacy and viewing the news. Copies of the Salt Lake Tribune and USA were provided. I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing that irritated me was they took $50 dollars out of my account without my consent. Other then that it seems like you're staying at a 5 star hotel. I definitely would stay there again if I come out there this summer.

The hotel was clean, the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast had a variety of foods and was good. The swimming pool and spa were clean and well cared for. The location was good for us as we caught the Trax into Salt Lake and attended a basketball game. Even though, my credit card got hit with a $50 preauthorization for incidentals, they were so kind and so nice to me. I left a pair of pants and a nice watch in the room. I thought that there was no way I was going to get it back. Well, they have some great staff today as my watch and a pair of pants got shipped back to me. This was a nice place. There was a bit of maintenance going on but it wasn't an issue. The breakfast was good, the pool and whirlpool was clean and the staff was very friendly. We would stay here again

We loved the indoor pool - was nice and warm. The indoor hot tub was also perfect - not too hot but just right! The room was like new with very comfy beds. Was not told of renovation that was being done. Dry wall chunks, dust, buckets/lids/carpet to trip over ,etc. The room was OK AFTER you closed the door

The hotel is going through renovations and I am sure it will be great once they are done but for now the construction can be distracting...

In general, I am a fan of Hampton Inns and have stayed in more than one in the Salt Lake City area (including this one at 106th South). This time there was construction going on--on the ground floor in the breakfast area, and in the room adjoining ours on the 3rd floor. Possibly other areas? We weren't bothered by noise, but there was plaster dust on […] EVERYthing, from a 3' x 3' patch on the carpet where the connecting door is located, to every horizontal surface in the room and bathroom. The room itself was already refurbished, and was gorgeous! The bathroom and sleeping quarters are very nicely finished, with upgraded cabinetry, beds, closet, desk and bathroom fixtures. A small fridge was very convenient. If I'd realized the first night how few people were in the hotel that weekend, I'd have asked for a different room just so that we didn't have to sneeze our way thru dust, but... The breakfast service area was kind of jury-rigged, so the hot food wasn't very hot, the coffee was in a separate room from everything else, and the TV wasn't working on the 2nd morning. No nonsense, as Hampton Inn always is. Clean room, quiet, and a reasonable area (with a couple close bars). Lobby was under construction during the day, but that didn't bother me much.

This was an overnight stay only. The room was beautiful. Good restaurants close by. Breakfast had good selections and dining area was pleasant, if a bit crowded. Would definitely stay there again..

I like simple things: a good, clean room; a spacious lobby w/coffee; and exercise facilities. This was a great hotel for all of these things.

Great location for us to attend the Scrapbook Expo at the convention center which was a straight shot for us to drive. This location is close to many restaurants and shopping.

The hotel was close to a place we needed to be the next morning. We chose the Hampton because we have stayed at the Hampton in Orem many times. This Hampton however appeared a bit run-down. They are still doing renovations and one of the reviews I read this has been going on for quite some time.
