This hotel met our needs for a reasonably-priced, 3-night stay located near Reston, VA. The pool and breakfast buffet were a big plus for me and my family. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Hotel staff very friendly. Requested Late arrival and rooms were available with no wait time. Staff friendly and continental breakfast was one of the better ones we have experienced. Would definitely recommend hotel to anyone travelling in the Washington Dulles rea.

The hotel room had the loudest air conditioning ever. It was very difficult to sleep, each the air kicked on it woke us up. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but what was the front desk supposed to do about loud air conditioning.

i stayed at Sterling Fairfield and when compared to Fairfield in chantally, this is no way close to the chantally hotel. There is no refrigerator nor a microwave in the room..... But it charges the same price with a very less quality...

We stayed at this hotel for our Easter break and it was a great time. Hotel was clean service was very good they just need to have a couple more waffle makers so you don't have to hold everybody up. All an all we had a good time would recommend this hotel.

Simple clean room less than 10 min from the airport. I was greeted to the sound of landing jest in the morning but what do you expect 2 miles from the airport. Very clean and neat room, the bed was FIRM!!! nice pillows etc... 2 staff I talked to were great and spoke ENGLISH!!
"comfortable hotel close to airport"
I was there for just one night, Dec. 23rd. I came in late and when I got to my room there was Christmas music playing on the radio. I'd flown in from far away and it was nice to hear the holiday music. My room, bed, and bathroom were all very comfortable.

be careful of the toll road was 10-15 minutes away from everywhere we were going. Beautiful hotel, good breakfast....good fast service

Do no go without ear plugs. Every 5 minutes comes an airplane.

I was offended when asked to pay a retainer of any amount to stay at a facility that had already been paid.

"Watch the Shuttle!"
There are two Fairfield Inns in the Dulles Airport area. I booked the north online, but ended up grabbing the shuttle to the Fairfield in Chantilly, VA (South). The shuttle driver said my predicament was not unusual.
The Lobby was very small, but the service was very good at picking us up and taking us to the airport. the staff was very helpful and timely. The location was not very close to the Airport. But had good, quick van transportation. Would only stay for overnight not a vacation location. Thea aera was kinda iffy. The room was average.

It was a great stay at the Fairfield hotel in Sterling VA. They provided an abundance of continental breakfast and great service. The rooms were nice and it was a decent location.

"Hotel in Sterling"
We had to get to the airport very early in the morning. The hotel staff was quite helpful and apologetic when the car we has requested was late picking us up even though arrangements had been made the night before.

I chose this hotel to stay in for one night due to an early flight departure (6:30 am) the next day from Dulles. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the front desk people and the bus drivers were very helpful. They had maps and lists of local restaurants and shopping centers readily available. The bus drivers picked me up the night before at the […] rental care lot and took me to my flight at Dulles the next morning. The front desk clerk even arranged for me to have a free light breakfast with cereal and coffee more than an hour before the breakfast was scheduled to be served. Everything went smoothly. Extremely courteous, professional, accommodating. David at front desk especially personable. I will never stay anywhere else when need arises to be near Dulles.

This is our 2nd booking in 2 weeks and we were given a 2nd floor room right next to the elevator. There is a window but covered by the hotel entrance roof. The staff were nice - we didn't want the linens changed (it's only 2 nights!) but they offered extra towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner - on both our stay. The breakfast was good, although I would […] have preferred more fruit (no addition since the 1st week we were there). I would have booked for 4 nights but the price jumped to twice the amount for a 2-night stay, so I booked at another hotel for our last 2 days in VA. You could feel other guests are satisfied too - there's always conversations when you meet them on the elevator, the lobby, or the breakfast area. We found everything to be very nice with the exception of the noise level and the amount of light coming into the room. The planes were very noisy, and the windows are designed so that only sheers cover them. During the day, the sun shines right into the room, and at the night the lights from the grounds shine into the room, which makes it difficult […] to sleep. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. I don't think we would stay there again because of the noise and light issues. Even having such a bad experince with hotels.com it did not hinder our vacation.The staff at Fairfield Inn were fantastic . Our room( even though not what we ask Hotels.com for ) was very nice
I found staff very helpful and felt very safe to stay there and comfortable.
