I checked in on Saturday, Febraury 18th around 7pm and was greeted by Kenneth, the night clerk. I was originally assigned to room 163, which was at the very back of the hotel and asked to be moved to a room a bit closer to the front of the hotel. Kenneth was gracious enough to find me a room a little closer. I was then assigned to room 132. The room […] was fairly clean. I really did not have any problems with the room in the beginning but closer to the end of my stay I had a problem with the cleanliness of the bathroom area. I walked into the bathroom and noticed that the hair that I left in the bathtub the night before was still there after I had washed my hair and also the coffee stains were still in the sink. I addressed the issue with Ms. Cheryl Luke, who was the Manager on Duty and she offered to clean the room herself, after she told me that she had one of her "best housekeepers" clean the room earlier that day. Every house keeper should be one of the hotels "best housekepers". I told her that I would not allow her to clean my room because it was not her responsibility to do so being as she assured me that she had put her best housekeeper on the job and noone ever thought to check behind him or her. I travel a lot with my job and I am in the Alexandria area 2-3 times a year. I will not stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites again because if my room was not cleaned thoroughly while I was staying there, it makes me think that it was not cleaned well enough before I checked in. Overall the hotel was nice. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was just ok they had ran out of a few things by 9:00 (served till 10:00), most items on breakfast bar were breads.

Arrived at the hotel with a warm greeting from the staff. Not sure what to expect. The lobby deco was ok, but once I entered in my room I was impressed! It was updated and nicer than some of the more pricey hotels. The suite made it nice to spread out my work and enjoy the space. This is a place I will return to.

Everything was clean and the room was comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful.

The outside appearance of nearby buildings makes it seem to be a little run down, but the room was in very nice condition and was exceptionally clean and well prepared for the guest in a very neat and precise manner. The cost was exceptionally low for the city of Alexandria.

Had a great experience at the hotel. Rooms were clean, so was the bathroom. Just may want to bring your own pillow if you don't like soft pillows. I recommend this place very highly and price you couldn't beat.

The hotel was clean. The room was clean but sheets were not changed. The breakfast could have been better.

all I can say is this hotel obviously has no problem hiring really unprofessional & rude ppl..the front desk lady that checked us in the night we arrived was so unprofessional, and made it seem like we weren't welcome there..her name is Jackie I believe, and she is by far thee worst hotel personnel that I had the discomfort to have ever met..idk if […] the manager just doesn't care whether employees exercise proper customer service, but my husband and I were very unhappy and dissatisfied with the poor servicr we recieved อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Excellent value for the money; clean room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful front desk. Room was quiet as this hotel sits off the highway (which makes it a little hard to get to because of Alexandria's wierd access road system)... Would definitely stay there again.

While its not a top line location it was clean and quite. Good pool to relax by. The staff was very helpful. The internet Provider in the area has alot of work to do! Easy to get to MacArthur Dr. both directions. Good stay for the money

The hotle was great, even though I was a little concerned about the baseball teams that were in house. it was still very quiet and organized. I do have a concern about the slippery tubs. I was fortunate that I had a handicap room and had a bar in the tub shower area. Overall -great stay!

The hotel was very nice. Pool looked a little small but was very interesting looking. Breakfast was good. One drawback was that bed sheet had some lipstick on it.

First room had a bad odor when we first walked in. Staff was quick to get us in another room and everything was fine. Staff was very helpful. We were there for a soccer tournament so there were lots of families and kids. Staff kept everyone quiet and orderly. I recommend this location. We have stayed there several times in the past.

Upon entering my room i staggered unpcking and found a prophylactic and toilet tissue sitting in my toilet. The tv service was out in the entire hotel during my stay.

I have never felt strongly enough to write a review until now. The lobby and desk area were OK but as you walk down the halls you notice an odor that gets stronger the further you go. My room was even worse, a musty mildewy smell covered mixed with stale carpet fresh is my best description. I was nauseus by morning and changed rooms as soon as possible. […] The 2nd was better but I still bad enough I went out and bought a scented candle and asked to move again. Finally the 3rd room they gave me came with a dehumidifier and was almost normal. The foul carpet smell still got into my socks and I threw them away. Will NEVER stay there again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Our family was thoroughly pleased with the Baymont. For a double room, our expectations were exceeded by the supply of a refrigerator which was very helpful to our family. Breakfast was great and consisted of waffles, bagels, muffins, sausage and biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt-- More than the usual. Fresh baked cookies at the […] front desk were a special touch and a welcome treat to the kids after 7 hours of driving. Front desk ladies were very helpful and kind, and the pool looked beautiful and inviting, however it was 65 degrees and not logical for a dip. Maybe next time, for we WILL be back. Thanks Baymont! Oh, one complaint. There is no fan in the bathroom, so if you don't turn on the window unit in the room, it is SILENT at night. Then again, if you turn on the window unit, there is strong air blowing on your face. Depending on the person, this could be a plus or minus... WHEN TO ALEXANDRIA FOR A PRE-SCHOOL VACATION WITH MY GRAND DAUGHTERS 7 AND 9. THE GIRLS LOVED THE POOL. COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER STAY AND WHEN I AM IN THE AREA AGAIN I WOULD RETURN. THANK YOU BAYMONT INN..

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very modern and clean. Comfortable king sized bed, flat screen tv, desk. Nice fitness center with complementary bottled water. Good complementary breakfast; lots of choices. Overall, a very good value. I would definately stay here again.
