Quality Inn - Sussex County

This hotel is very new. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the hotel is quiet. It is a teeny bit off the beaten path, but overall a very small price to pay for a great hotel.

I have stayed at this property several times over the past 10 years. The recent renovations are very nicely done, with more to come, according to the staff. The hotel was newly decorated and very attractive. There was coffee supplied all day long but the creamers were only available at the breakfast. The woman who checked us in was not particularly pleasant and wrote my credit card number and name and address from my license on a separate piece of paper which made me leery of ID theft. The hotel was fine. Newly renovated. The staff was nice and helpful. The Continental breakfast had fresh Belgian waffles on offer and hard boiled eggs. One thing to note: that bathroom was super tiny and the water in the shower never got above "mostly warm."

Overall, this hotel is nice, comforting, affordable, and close to where I want to be. The hot breakfast could be better and have more of a variety, but that's what you get for free. Also, the hotel is still undergoing some nice maintenance, but the hallways are very dimly lit. Only problem I had! :)

The hotel was great! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Very close to destination. Very good rates. One issue was the toliet leaked.

Elevater exceptionally SMALL ,rear window looks out on LARGE,LARGE ROCK, clerk not at desk in evening to help---and excesive room charge!

The staff fibbed about why the rooms stunk. They also claimed to have no knowledge of the rooms linens and rugs being damp. The tub was filthy. There were earwigs, flys and ants in the rooms. I booked this hotel because of price and location to Mountain Creek/ Diablo bike park..It has been recently renovated and is a very affordable place to stay..Especially compared to the prices of the hotels at the mountain (ouch!)..If you are just looking for a place to sleep with A/C, shower and is clean, then this is it..I will definitely be back.

Bed still had cracker crumbs in it from prior guest. UGH! Wraps it up.

The windows in my room were very dirty

Friendly staff, accommodating, clean rooms, safe. Close to ideal location (Mountain Creek).

Nice sevice and very clean

The hotel is conveniently located just about 2.7 miles from the Mountain Creek ski resort and waterpark. It was recently renovated. The decor is pleasant and nicer then depicted on the website, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge, which was especially nice since we travelled with two children. […] The staff is very friendly and courteous. In the morning a simple complimentary continental breakfast with Keurig coffees is served in the small breakfast room. The towels are a bit thin, but one would not expect luxurious Egyptian cotton towels in this category hotel. We did not have much of a view from our room; we actually looked out on a rock, but that was not why we came; we were looking for a nice, friendly, comfortable, clean and economical place to stay with our 2 kids during our midweek ski trip and found exactly that in the Days Inn in McAfee -Vernon. Hotel clean, quiet and short drive to Mountain Creek resort, restuarants and shops. Straight drive on rte94, minutes to resort. Surrounding area very quiet early in week.
