The room was smaller than anticipated, the bed was not at all comfortable and the pillows were all too soft. The bathroom was so small, the door almost hit the toilet when you opened it. We requested a fridge and microwave since we were staying for a week and they were delivered to the room right away. One entire day we did not have water in the hotel […] due to some plumbing issues and the entire 3rd floor had a terrible odor for two days. We were a little disappointed by the lack of basic amentities like Kleenex, a shower cap, etc. Just little things that count. The hotel was convenient to where we needed to be and the staff was very friendly, and as helpful as they could be. On the way home, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, it was $30 a night cheaper, (even after our Geico "discount" was applied at Hampton Inns), offered a much larger room, with a wonderful bed, a choice of firm or soft pillows, more amentities including washer/dryer access on each floor, a HUGE room with a sofa and comfortable chair. a large bathroom and a wonderful breakfast buffet. We found our room to be very clean and the hotel staff very freindly and accommodating.

Loved the room and the location. If only the room had a small refrigerator & a small microwave like La Quinta, then it would be un-touchable.

This hotel was clean, the staff was very courteous and very nice, they couldn't do enough to make your stay more enjoyable.

This hotel was excellent. Ver clean, family friendly and very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and will re-book in the future.

I have no major complaints about this hotel. The staff were friendly, the breakfast not bad, the accomodations were good. The only problem I had was I did not get the room I wanted. According to them booking through Hotels.com only grants me which ever room is available, even though Hotels.com allows you to pick the room you prefer. The front desk clerk was so friendly - it impressed me how they knew your name when you entered the hotel. The morning breakfast was very good especially since omelets and sausage were available (unusual for continental breakfasts). The room was extremely clean and welcoming. Rooms were small. Bathroom smelled musty in the room. but good price and conveinent lacation

Stayed in November 2011, in town for a Ravens game. Location was perfect and very convenient. Easy and quick check-in. Our room was very clean and all the amenities were great. Close to the major thoroughfares w/ easy access on & off. However, be mindful when the front desk asks for your credit card (just in case) for incidentals. W/out telling us they put a charge on our bankcard and although the charge was retracted, It would have been nice to be told up front that this was their original intent.

the coffee and cookies available at any time was a nice touch, the breakfast was above average and the staff was excellent. plan to stay again

This was our second time staying at this hotel while attending the boat show in Annapolis. Rooms clean, friendly staff, included great breakfast. Good variety of shops close by. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again next year.

Good cheerful front desk personnel. HD TV with good selection of channels. Breakfast was great. Parking was not a problem. For the price we paid, it was one of the best values.

Before booking this hotel, I checked the reviews that others had written. Everything that was said in the reviews was true. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the hotel well maintained. Even a "negative" review comment that the hotel was located in a strip mall was very helpful, because it made the hotel easy to […] find. The tow ladies that take care of the continental breakfast in the morning are awesome. Very nice, helpful and great with kids. Rooms should come standard with mini fridge.

I was visiting family in Severna Park, MD and this was the closest hotel. It is on a main highway and located in a strip shopping mall (kinda strange but...). It was clean, the staff was friendly and even had a free breakfast included with the room fee. The beds were very comfortable with a lot of pillows. I was unable to hear anybody in other rooms and although the hallway was hot (no a/c?) and loud, we didn't hear anything while in the room. The bathroom was very clean. We returned late to the hotel and there was a group of people outside that seemed to not be staying at the hotel. Positives: (1) Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. (2) Excellent breakfast buffet. (3) Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. Negatives: (1) The card key entrance system for the room was problematic; on 3 of 6 nights, both my wife's key card and mine failed when we returned to the hotel, necessitating a trip back down to the desk for the […] cards to be rekeyed. simply put one of the best experiences in a hotel ever. we arrived early and they welcomed us because of the blizzard of 2010 hitting the east coast. This hotel is ideal for the business traveler. The staff was attentive and courteous. The room was clean. The continental breakfast was good. It is located in a shopping center, so restaurants were a short walk away. Definitely recommended!

I thought that this hotel was very nice; comfortable and welcoming save for the lack of signeacge on the street. There is no way possible you can this hotel unless you know exactly where it is.

This property is in a shopping center with store fronts on its first floor. It was slightly difficult to find the entrance because of this, or maybe it was the remodeling? This is a nice hotel and is convenient to just about everything. It's clean and comfortable.

1st night, no AC, after sending a maintaince man, I do know how to work an AC, it could not be fixed, I was moved to another room, after several hours 2nd night, no hot water the next morning for a shower, I asked the front desk for an explaination, "they are wrking on it", of little use after you have taken a cold shower. I questioned were they going […] to offer any type of adjustment, etc, the answer was NO, and the front desk did not appear they cared or were definately not concerned about any of the guest that morning, as the entire hotel did not have hot water. 1-5th night, the shower NEVER drained, and by the time you finished your shower, the water in the tub was more than ankle deep. This is what you would expect to find at a Hampton Inn. The rooms are comfortable and homey, the staff is very friendly, the hot chocolate is always an added comfort. The location was a little odd with it being in a strip mall. It was close to our destination, Locust Point ship terminal for cruising on the John W Brown Liberty ship. Even though our room was "no smoking" there were traces of that leftover smell. Continental breakfast was good.
