Hotel is fine but I'm unhappy about the way the hotel takes a $500 deposit to cover your potential charges. I understand they need to cover themselves against people trying to leave without paying, but having an impression of the card is surely sufficient to enable any unpaid charges to be recovered. My bank called me on its fraud line asking had I […] authorised a $500 transaction. Clearly I cant get into the hotel without accepting the deposit but it was then a constraint on my spending as the bank was concerned about my overdraft limit given we had been travelling for well over a month. This hotel got the perfect location close to everything and orchard road. Beautiful hotel, great service and affordable.

Cable in the room was expensive and no wireless in the rooms - poor considering number of iPad users. "Free" wireless in the lobby was denied because of my "package". What a load of rot. Will not stay at a Pan Pacific again.

The hotel is clean and near of shoping centre, I only walk go to orchard road, near hospial too. I like typical Pan Pasifik hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed my time very much. The room was clean, supplies were great, and service personnel were very helpful. The gym is kind of small however, the pool is large enough to swim around. One thing I must caution, though the hotel is great and staying there is really worthwhile for what you pay; the surronding neighborhood […] (Orchard Tower) goes wild at night. There are many prostitutes who would want to give you company or you will be tempted to visit the wild night clubs that may be not helpful if you are with kids or so. not recommended to pass thru the back door at night with your children, there's a bar at the back just across the road where people looking for night life can easily get one.

I had my mother stay at the Pan Pacific for a night last week. The room was smallish but adequately modern and clean, the hotel overall modern. While we found the staff friendly and helpful, the management apparently tries to save money on the service side: no concierge, and guests must hail taxis themselves. I recently stayed there for 2 nights, from 10 - 12 june. It was very convenient as our primary reason for the trip is to check out The Singapore Great Sale @ Orchard road. Few minutes away to shopping haven and other key places.

I travel often and stay in good hotels worldwide and this is one of the best hotels I have visited in a number of years. The quality of the service and the attitude of the staff was nothing short of excellent. It helped me fall in love with Singapore.

This is an excellent hotel a short walk away from the busy Orchard Road shopping area. It's got subtle decor and very helpful and friendly staff. It also has a superb mineral water swimming pool which is a delight to use after a day of sightseeing in a tropical climate. Being a little away from the main road it is in a more peaceful setting than a hotel […] directly on Orchard Road and a really good place to relax at the end of the day. Hotel access cards were faulty and had to change it. The Pacific club room (upgrade to executive) is impressive. Bed is comfortable. Movable flat screen TV with international channels, however, to my disappointment, there isn't animal planet channel. Bathroom is spacious. A uniquely designed bath tub and a glass shower cubicle. Toiletries are good. […] They even have loofah and bathing salt! Pacific club lounge is exclusive. Cocktail served frm 6-8pm, with some snacks. Delicious! Breakfast is also served there. hot breakfast is available. Scrumptious! Gym is small, mineral pool is great. There is a jacuzzi, suana and steambath located near the fitness centre. The Pan Pac is getting on in age but is still a great hotel close to Orchard. I would stay again.

Only stayed at the hotel for one night and checked in quite late (1am) but the service while I was checking in (and out the next day) was far superior to any hotel I have ever stayed at before, anywhere. Hotel is located just behind Orchard Rd which is the shopping capital of Singapore and it is very easy to get everywhere. Great location. There was no problem checking in, the lady who checked our booking was so warm in welcoming their guests. She is so efficient. When we said we are going to universal studios, she made the booking right away. The lobby is nice though lacks centerpiece to make the ambience luxurious. The hotel room that we booked was executive club king and non-smoking. […] With this part, I was annoyed a bit with the ff reasons: FIRST, because the smell was awful...it was like somebody was smoking near, somewhere. We really couldn't stand the smell of the cigarette smoke! The one who cleaned the room should have informed the front desk that the non smoking room has a problem. We didn't go to our room right away anyway, so they have plenty of time to solve the problem...if only the staff in charge had used his mind before we noticed it. SECOND, the one at the front desk wanted to spray air freshener all over the room to mask the odor. When we didn't agree on their suggestion, they told us to use the burner to cover up the smell...same thing! I don't know what kind of service they have. They are not after the guest's comfort I guess...some of them just do their job without loving what they do, and without knowing what a five star hotel service is. THIRD, the fruit basket that was supposed to be included to the room that i booked wasn't there. It was in the first room so we asked the butler to please bring it to the new room. we left then we returned but there was no fruit basket. we even had to remind the desk that we need the fruits before going to bed, it is actually part of our day that's why it's important. So, they brought it to our room after a while. (don't look fresh...) Swimming pool is clean, enough shade to avoid too much sun exposure. Buffet breakfast is good. Not all are friendly, though. I stayed here with my girlfriend and we picked this hotel for 2 reasons: location and quality of room from the website. The staff provided great service, all our requests were met: they followed up some luggage that we were expecting from the airline (as 1 of our bags were damaged so a new one was being delivered), 3am wake up call for our early flight […] as well as organising a taxi that arrived on time :) Quality of rooms were pretty good, bathroom was clean and bed comfortable. As we were only in Singapore for 3 nights we wanted a quality hotel in a good location. It was walking distance to Orchard Rd however something I did not see on reviews is that from Pan Pacific Orchard there are 2 streets you can walk down to get to Orchard Rd. On both streets you have to walk through areas with Adult Shops and Clubs. My girlfriend didn't like having to walk past all these people at night so if this doesn't bother you and you're looking for a good quality hotel with great service stay here, if you have children with you I wouldn't recommend this hotel - only because of location. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

This hotel has a disorientating check in infrastructure carefully disguised as a couple of desks parked randomly near the lifts. Obviously it's cheaper than the big marble job and works ok it's just that one is not really expecting the pension furniture. I like this hotel group, they are so efficient, organised and on the ball and the location is perfect, […] at both ends of the town. However the colour scheme quite defeats me each time I stay there. I find it so depressing. Chocolate was a passing fad ("it's the new black" - "no it's not, it's brown"). To combine chocolate with black in the foyer overwhelms me with gloom. There is nothing to relieve this on the walls of the room. Not a spark of colour. One is in the tropics, lighten up, it's ok to bung a picture of a flower on the wall. Gloom has been mistaken for "mood". Doesn't work for me. The lounge/bar downstairs is lovely, comfortable, spacious with aspirations to elegance, great service and dazzlingly beautiful young staff and draught beer to die for, served in wonderful tall glass with nibbles designed to give you a Burke and Wills thirst. The music is set at a sort of, somewhat trendy, modern note, defying all pretence to anything resembling melody. Looking around at the clientel, which was notably sparse, it was your lumpy western business man, the natural recipe for this crowd is Frank Sinatra, or at least something invoking recognition. The price of a beer there cost me $20 Singapore. That, at this point, is a new record for me and probably explains why the place was more or less empty. It's a nice hotel, rooms are reasonable value for the quality and service, pool, gym are fantastic, location perfect, brekkie wonderful but probably I will not go back again. The first impression for me, when I walk into a room is one that sets the tone for the stay. In this case I felt gloom. TVはブラウン管タイプで古い。 セパレートタイプのツインベドルームで予約しましたが、セミダブルサイズをイメージしていたのですが、本当にシングルサイズのベッドで小さく、幅も狭かった。 一見、小奇麗な部屋ですが、ベッドの下、クロゼットの中、バスルームの洗面シンク回りに、塵や汚れが気になった。 セルフランドリー　（コインランドリー）施設無し。 ホテルの中は、騒がしくなく、落ち着いた感じでした。

It's amazing how a otherwise splendid hotel can have such poor internetservice. No wifi !

Das Pan Pacific Orchard , in dem ich schon mehrfach während meines Singapore Aufenthaltes übernachtet habe, hält noch immer was es beim Eintritt in die mit schwarzem Mamor gefließten und mit Schwarzen , mächtigen Säulen ausgestatteten Lobby verspricht. . Ein Hauch von fernöstlichem, geheimnisvollen Luxus hüllt einen ein, wenn man das Hotel betritt. […] Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, der Pool nie zu voll, die Zimmer luxeriös ausgestattet.
