Being there on Queensday with a loud celebration almost next door on a warmish night when you need the windows open is a tough opening act. The room was comfortable, smallish, but staff were great, breakfast was excellent, and easy parking was nice too. Two great restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood seems a little rough. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet part of town within reasonable walking distance of the riverside, central attractions and the railway station. There are convenient restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The hotel appears to have been assembled from converting numerous adjacent town houses, which injects some character. Very decent, clean well run hotel. Breakfast was fresh, and served in an attractive dining area. Secure overnight storage was available for our bikes. Good value as far as cost of accommodation in Holland.

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews and I can say that it lived up to all that I read. The no4 tram is a short walk from the hotel which takes you to the centre in 5-10 minutes. Our room was on the 4th floor and very comfortable and clean.

we stayed in hotel walsum for a week and will be going back again the management and staff were so welcoming friendly & helpfull at all times . we would recommend this hotel to anyone going on a short or long break to rotterdam .YOU are very close to all attractions also train station and you can get a tram outside the hotel or down the road depending […] where you want to go . THE people in rotterdam were also very friendly and helpfull at all times.The food at the van walsum hotel was 10 out of 10 .AND THE STAFF were at all times very cheerfull .SO for your stay in rotterdam check in to the van walsum hotel you wont be sorry . Goede service, staf is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Prima kamer. Goede koffie bij ontbijt en lunch Goede ligging, bij café's en restaurants.

Netjes, schone kamer, vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijtbuffet. Enkel minpunt was dat het tochtte bij de ramen en dat er regenwater onderdoor kwam.

Hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening. Rommet var akkurat passe og hadde de fasiliteter jeg forventer. Hyggelig med gratis internett. Frokosten var også godt over forventet for et 3 stjerners hotell. Skal jeg til Rotterdam igjen så er dette et enkelt valg :-).

Sehr positiv: Lage zum Zentrum, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Frühstück frisch + reichhaltig. Preis - Leistung stimmt hier. Hinweis: die Zimmer zur Strasse sind etwas lärmig, Zimmer Richtung Hof verlangen!

Veldig god service, koselig resepsjon, god frokost. Enkel standard på rommet, men greit nok. Sentral beliggenhet, og ville nok valgt dette hotellet igjen om vi skulle tilbake til Rotterdam

Het hotel Van Walsum is een hotel waar men uiterst vriendelijk wordt benaderd, waar men behulpzaam is. Het hotel is vlakbij goede eetgelegenheden gelegen.

Buon hotel così come il rapporto qualità / prezzo. Ero già stato lì in giugno e devo dire che il livello del servizio di colazione è evidentemente sceso: i primi giorni non c'èra nulla di dolce! Per il resto, personale gentile e disponibile, camera ampia e pulita. Staff friendly and helpful, room nice and clean, breakfast good and sufficient if not lavish, location just great - 5 minutes to metro (2 stops from Beurs), tram practically at your doorstep.

Hotel en ontbijt is prima , in klassiek pand , gelukkig niet helemaal weggerestaureerd maar aangenaam opgeknapt. Onze laatse kamer had deze opknapbeurt nog niet gehad en was klein en oudbollig met een prima sanitair overigens.

Sehr gutes Hotel. Super freundliches Personal. In der Nacht relativ laut, da das Hotel auf einer grossen Strasse liegt. Frühstück super Gute Parkmöglichkeiten
