Great hotel for sleep and leave. Beautiful bar but not being operated??? Great looking indoor pool but you could not use???? "Surprised"
The hotel was clean and the room had everything you needed. Room service was excellent. I was totally shocked because of the size of this hotel I could count on one hand how many people were staying there. Maybe it was off season for them but it was alittle scary. "Pleasant Suprise"
After I had booked I looked at the negative reviews and thought maybe I made a mistake. I was pleasantly suprised. The desk staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the room clean and the bed comfortable and the price was good.

I like the hotel but it is worn and needs a lot of work. The workers were very nice but some of the front desk personnal require training, they act like they were doing us a favor. I actually stayed in the hotel for a week and ran into many relatives who had either stayed there or attended meetings there. "We should have gone somewhere else"
I wish that we hadn't booked this hotel. The price paid was much more than it is worth. It is very obvious that this is an older hotel that was bought by Clarion (I think it used to be a Radisson) and is really in need of a remodel. Everything is very old and looks as though it needs repair. The pool was pretty nice, but in a weird location right by […] the dining area for breakfast. The food was just so-so, not great but better than some since they had a few hot items. The carpets throughout the hotel were very dirty and our room had a yucky smell that was always present. "This hotel works just fine"
I stayed in the Clarion for one night on the way to another destination. It worked just fine. It was well kept and well staffed. The room was big and had a nice big sleep number bed. Flat screen TV with a bunch of cable channels. I slept really well and was ready to proceed on my journey. "Needs to be renovated"
It looks like, this use to be a 4 star hotel. Great layout. However, the dirty carpet and furniture everywhere and the smell in the room... I just couldn't get pass it. I slept with towels on the bed and the cover over my nose. I felt dirty and sticky. "Very nice - few problems"
The hotel is very nice and clean, its a unique design and frankly very cool. The beds are ALL Tempur Posturepedic mattresses and very nice. We both stayed in a room and attended a banquet catered by the hotel. The banquet was very nice, the food was good, and the service was very good. I don't it's mentioned anywhere, but the hotel now does a hot breakfast […] bar with bacon and scrambled eggs as the main hot components. We had prepaid through hotels.com and I showed my confirmation to the clerk on arrival. Instead of using my card to put a small charge for incidentals the clerk charged the full reservation to my card. It took about two days between the hotel manager and the card company to get resolved. I don't know what happened to the clerk, but the manager worked her butt off to make it right for us.
